Instead of showing me charging AC it's not a big problem but the problem is that the computer can't read my phone any more and the phone doesn't give me connect to pc notification so i can't connect my phone to computer for like using it as reader or internet pass throw just for charging it, please help me how to fix it

I'd have a guess and say your ac charger isn't charging with enough amps. Have you tried another charger?
Also, have a look in your settings, you may have the charge only option selected so it won't ask what you want to do when connected. But saying that, you should be able to pull the notification bar down and change it

Yeah i tried everything when i connect it to the pc it gives me
And from the phone it just read it as usb charging and don't give me anything
That's screen shot while the phone is connected no notification for connection with the pc
And i used this charger before and i used to see ac charging changed to another charger after using that another charger all i see is charging usb

USB Port problem (the on-device port)? Seems like it, I'd advise going to a phone repair shop

Charging symbol when not plugged in anyone?

Has anyone else got this? Bit of background to what happened....
Phone is roughly 7 months old, never had one problem with it - the night before 4.2 got released I stumbled across a problem I've never seen before....
Phone was on 7% battery so plugged it in, and carried on watching TV - came to using my phone an hour later and found my phone had switched off.....tried turning it on and nothing happened so I thought it must of crashed and needed a battery pull.
Did the battery pull and tried turning on and still nothing - the charging display when turned off kept appearing and disappearing like I was plugging/unplugging the phone from charger....
At this point I thought my charger had semi-died so used my computer USB port to charge it, turned phone on and voila, says charging and phone switches on.
Phone has normal 2 day battery life ever since, however now my phone thinks it is constantly charging when nothing plugged in (see screen shot below).
Is this a damaged USB port? Anyone changed one?

Do you mean you tried replacing the whole usb port or tried a different charger?
Just cleaned the USB port out with a paint brush. Then bent the contract up SLIGHTLY with a tiny flat blade screwdriver......
No more charging error now.

Battery drain while charging, only when screen is of

I have a wierd problem, when i charge my phone my battery drains if the phone screen is off.
This happens on different roms, both gingerbread and jellybean.
If i turn of the phone or set screen on time to 30 minutes its fine.
Even after i flash the g2wipe and do a clean install i have the same problem.
I need some troubleshooting help.
I have another g2 with the same rom and its no problem

I had weird issue with my DZ. When connected to charger, it would show charging and orange charging light would come on. But the battery continued discharging.
After 2 days of flashing various roms and banging my head on the walls, it tured out to be a faulty usb cable. You might also verify if that is the culprit

I bought this car charger, and I have a Q.

OK, so I bought this car charger, and it has 2 USB ports on it, A and B. A charges at 1.0a, and 5w. B port charges at 0.5a, and 2.5w. My phone has some charging issues where it uses too much power. My phone only works in port B, and lately I have to reboot my phone to get that to work. I was wondering if I could get port A to work with my phone? I know it works because my dad has the Note 2 and it works in port A. Thanks in advance.
First off this belongs in GNex accessories. Second there's no reason your phone isn't charging at 1A if everything is working correctly. Sounds like some kind of grounding issue.
Sorry if it didn't sound right in the post, I meant that my nexus isn't even picking up port A. And yeah I think my nexus has some problems, I was using my dads note 2 charger which puts out 2 A, and my phone was discharging. I don't have insurance, so I don't think I can get it fixed.

Chargers do not ”put out” amperage. The amperage drawn is determined by the device itself. Even though the charger is rated at 2 amps, the phone will only draw about 1 amp.

The weakest point

For the tablet is the micro USB port. It can fail due to the daily plug-unplug action. An easy solution is to use an adapter permanently plugged in. See pic.

More likely to accidentally knock the protruding adapter and therefore permanently damage the device female socket in the process. ....

One helpful solution is to turn the tab upside down when plugged in and viewing it in portrait mode. This keeps the plug at the top rather than pressing against your lap and stressing the socket.

Did you actually damage the port or is this just a "precaution"? From my experience the headphone port fails way faster, the microUSB port is actually pretty robust on most devices.
Anyway, there is no way I use one of those ugly adapters.
Just a precaution. I keep the earphone always plugged in .

My solution is a wireless receiver connected through the USB, but you need a wireless transmitter and charging time will be slower.
Manufacturers (for the most part) aren't idiots and know the MTBF (mean time between failures) for every component they select. Things like jacks and plugs which are prone to damage from high use are spec'd accordingly. My two Samsung devices I've had since November show no sign of their USB ports weakening. People looking for problems are usually the first to have them. Ironic, no?
