I recently got my Note 2 and coming from a Galaxy Nexus I'm a bit confused about building stock Samsung Based roms. As there isn't any source code for Samsung roms, does creating a custom rom only consist of downloading a Samsung Stock Rom and adding root access and other mods or theming?

After reviewing this forum, I know that there are many awesome custom roms with Note 3 features.
I have Galaxy Note 2 (AT&T, I317) now.
Is it possible to flash Pheonix rom with Note 3 features on I317 (AT&T)?
Or easiest way to to get to a stock AT&T, but rooted 4.4.x as I can't do the OTA update due to rooted and deoxed build on my Note 2

does note 2 gt-7100 roms work on the gt-7105 (note 2 lte)? I want to get alliance ROM on my note 2 but the download is for the gt-7100 and I was wondering if it would work or if it would brick my device.

In fact there is no LTE support for your device in such roms
Ok, you can't just install the ROM and it work.
You should install a modem after installing the n7100 rom then do some modifications ..
If you're not into that, just stay away from n7100 roms
