Just wondering if any dev has ever looked into this. By this I mean I find it annoying how the volume is adjustable by 0-15 and can't be adjusted 0-100 percent. I think it would be a cool addition to any rom

Why, I see no point in this. The way the volume settings works is fine. If you really want to really choose between what we already have then you are just being a little picky

Y'all are just a bunch of haters. If you have nothing helpful to say keep it to yourself. Im just asking about the mod not for your opinion.I do not want nor need your opinions because I simply do not care about them. Rather than trying to put others down try to be helpful.

Yeah I find that sometimes the meida volume increments are too large also, but I don't really care too much about it. There's an app in the play store that adds more increments called Fine Volume Control or something. It's a paid app.

Actually the link I found was dead but I found the old thread kbizzle had for his port of AOKP and it mentioned using root explorer to turn them off. I tried the method and now my buttons are off but the lights are still on. But I quit tinkering when I went to work.

Correction, leave the setting checked in device settings and if u go to system/usr/keylayout and delete those four lines in sec.touchkey.kl and save then reboot, it will completely disable the buttons and lights.

No need to have the mods remove it, and actual it is useful info. I would change the title to [Solved]Button Lights Off | AOKP
and then put in OP the way to solve those lights like i said.

Nothing really is running in the background. Volume+ has an EXTREMELY low memory footprint and practically no CPU footprint.
BTW which version of Volume+ are you using?

I was using 1903 but that was really not working so i went back to 1902 and that was a lot better...as i raise the volume level it goes up and down...ie 16 would be much louder than 17...and 4-12 sound the same...i understand the cpu usage but editing the file directly would have no footprint especially on boot...
