Hi, I've searched but haven't found anything of what I have in mind...
I was looking for a small, plug-in external speaker that could a bit more of out-put than the built-in speaker on the back. I find it very quite and doesn't perform as nearly as loud as the inbuilt speaker on my old Samsung Galaxy S.
Now, I know about those little balls that look like an hamburger and all that but they are too big. I was looking for something substantially smaller that could be put on a pocket and forgot about it. Say, the size of a lighter or USB pen? I'm not looking for a massive performance, just something a bit louder than the HOX speaker and similar to what I had on the Galaxy.
I found these two things...

...both from China and the first costs US$2 shipped, the second around US$4 shipped... so I'm guessing the quality to be terrible. Not a big loss if I try it though...
Anyway, what is there and what can you recommend?
Cheers!
Edit: This would be nice if it was smaller...

I am looking for a cheep pair of in ears...with acceptable sound quality and also acceptable build quality. The stock Galaxy S3 in-ears were totally okay for me with the exception that the build quality is misrable (broken wire within 2 months). I saw the in-ears from HTC...with flat cable. It seems that the build quality is exceptionally good!
Can anybody say how the soundquality compares to Galaxy S3 stock ear buds? Also I read in a youtube unboxing comment that the ear bud somehow only really functions with HTC mobiles...(something about driver error)...I have no idea about this...but it is hard to imagine that hTC will cripple the earbuds somehow. Can anybody confirm if the HTC stock in-ear works with the S3.

Edit: misread the question. Thought you were looking for a good cheap pair of headphones. Can't delete this so I'll leave the link.

Good thinking. This is going in the DIY list. How is the stability?
It's actually fairly stable, more than you'd expect.
I recommend setting it up with the volume buttons on the top, for easy access.
Cheapest mod ever!
Didn't think about that, always using a puncher to hold it while watching movies..
I don't see the picture

Do you have another link to the picture? The one above doesn't seem to work.
I'm interested in making one of these.

Stable enough?

There should be a lazypod for tablets that's universal, I ordered one before but it broke as it was fake and weak. But it did fit and work. I don't think there's a specific one for the tab S but a universal one should do.

this is the first one i see supporting this size, too bad it is very expensive and not the best for bed
holy **** the shipping is $90 to Europe xD
Before getting this, my bluetooth speaker was to me the best I had ever owned. It's still pretty great, awesome quality sound and build, but it wasn't as loud as I'd like it to be. Then this came along... and Wow.
This speaker is smaller, much more resistant, WATERPROOF, has good sound quality and is loud as hell (in a very good way) compared to anything I've used before. I was expecting it to be bigger, but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the size of it.
You can use this anywhere, it has a long lasting battery life and bluetooth range. Comes with a microUSB cable to charge it up, and is ready to be used as soon as you open the box. Setup is just like any other, quick and easy.

Hope you guys like it. And no, I'm not in anyway affiliated to Mpow. I just loved this product and thought I would share.
Hello,
I don't know if it was always like that or if I already got dirt into my earpiece.
To me it looks like the right two thirds of the grid of the earpiece are blocked (filled with something, maybe dirt). I will try to upload am image tomorrow.
Is it the same for you? I tried to get out or with a vacuum cleaner but it didn't change.
You can see what I mean on this picture

lol, never paid Attention to it. But you are right, I have EXACTLY the same right two thirds of the grid "blocked" .. Seems to be standard? Haven't found any issues with it so far..
That's as intended, the right two thirds are just cosmetic to make it look symmetrical, the speaker hole is only in the left third.
Hi there, I have too "dirt into my earpiece". Is it so on purpose or not?
Me too
I contacted my seller and he say me "it's normal". It´s no dirt but some like protective foil against dirt / dust.
