Does anyone has any idea why is it that if I were to use a 3rd party app to lock my phone, my phone would simply keep waking up but it would go back to sleep when I use my power button to lock my phone. Any help would be appreciate.
did you look into the settings from the third party App? is there a point that disabled the auto sleep function?

I've checked. I tried out a few apps that's in play store and all apps just keep waking up the device after I've locked. Do you have any idea on how to make them work?
Try this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.katecca.screenofflock&feature=more_from_developer#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEwMiwiY29tLmthdGVjY2Euc2NyZWVub2ZmbG9jayJd and go to the configuration to set it up and you'll be good to go :good:

I have the Joying KK unit, and when I was trying out light flow app on it, I realized that this set does not show the accessibility/services option at all in settings.. so there's no way to let Light flow to be enabled in accessibility.
Anyone has had any idea how to enable accessibility of apps on this unit?

Start a new task in Tasker. Add task: Plugin, Secure Settings, Configuration, System+ Actions, Accessibility Services. Select the service you want from the drop down menu. Tap button for Enabled. Tap the save icon up top. Back out to Task Edit screen. Hit the play button, Done. Only needs to be done once.

It didn't get the job done.
After doing what you said, I opened the app (the one to which I wanted to grant accessibility service access) and tapped on the accessibility service button and then, the app crashed.
It doesn't even work for the Tasker itself. Tasker doesn't run tasks which need accessibility service.
Can't find it anywhere on the phone. I have enabled double tap to sleep but would like the function to wake also.
Anyway of getting it?

This feature is Kernel related and I think would not be available for us with mediatek processors.
ME also was pretty disappointed when I didn't find in display settings.
But fortunately we have a solution for that ?
Just download and install the below given app...
App Name - Smart Screen on/off
Download it from Playstore only.
Enable it in administrators. Enable it in apps with usage as well.
Finally choose the correct settings for you from in app settings.
Also add phone app in its exception list.
Enjoy and good luck.
There are several of these apps on the play store with same name however I've just tried one and it only allowed you to turn off the screen with a double tap and not wake the device this way.
Tried a couple of these apps and they seem to only offer double tap to sleep which is already available on the phone.
Hi all,
I've got a really annoying feature on my screen lock where my keypad will auto-show and if I enter my PIN I'll be launched direct into the app at the time. I hate this feature and want to disable it, but I'm not sure which setting controls this. Did I say I absolutely hate this feature and it drives me nuts hence why I'm posting here.
Its not 100% clear what you mean.
Your lock screen activates and when you unlock it via pin you get put back into the app that was running before screen lock activated, when you'd prefer it to go back to the home screen?.
That is normal behaviour. There is no way to change it without causing an even bigger nuisance, which would be to kill all apps upon leaving them, which will make your phone run slow.
I could recommend an app by htc called "boost+" which can kill apps automatically if you apply the background optimizers to "always off" which will attempt to kill apps when you leave them. This is less intrusive than using developer settings to kill all apps. It may work, it may not.
Hi, thanks for replying.
Yeah sorry it is a little difficult to articulate this behavior.
So when I want to go back into my phone from the screen off / sleep state, I hit the power button to turn the screen on and wake the device up. When I do this the screen lock keypad opens and if I enter my pin I'll be taken into an application. Mind you this doesn't happen all the time. It generally happens when I've received a notification e.g. hangouts message, an sms, missed call notification, email and so on. I'm sure this behavior wasn't happening before. I can't remember if I changed a setting, or there's been an update to the lock screen from HTC. Either way I want to turn this feature off, I don't want the phone controlling me, I want to control the phone.

Hi Guys,
I still have some late notifications once in a while from different programs.
Line (Messaging)
Google Calendar
HQ (Trivia game)
And a few others...
I have made sure to disable the "Auto" power manager setting for those apps and most of the time they do work normally. However once a week or so I miss a calendar notification or other notifications. I'm guessing this has to do with the aggressive background task killing on Chinese phones, or maybe the AI stuff? Either way, I want my notifications to work and come in on time.
Are there any hidden settings I am missing to disable background task killing? (I had an older Huawei phone that allowed you to disable Huawei memory management in developer settings, but that's not on this phone)
Thanks!
I'm having the same issue on a mate 20 pro, but up to now I could not find a resolution. It's annoying as our doorbell works with a push message that does not always gets delivered instant now.
Try locking the app along with turning off smart notification and turning on the setting to keep mobile active when in sleep mode. Seemed to work for my AL00 which has aggressive power handling.
on top of changing auto mod for app launch there's also battery optimization which isn't in battery menu but in application - special access menu. Try to disallow apps you need maybe it helps.

Not too sure, but within the app information for notifications there may be a setting for vibration... good luck
It has and disabled it but it seems useless.

This is most definitely an issue with your banking app. Send them an email and highlight the issue to them.
