I've been looking at the HTC one v for a while and wondering its performance for minecraft and other games. If someone could link to a YouTube video that would be great. Thanks for your help

I love to play shadow gun and arma 2 on my HOX.
Is there any other game similar to skyrim?

You have to try out Dark meadow: the pavt. It's free and probably the best phone gaming experience out there. Definetely the best looking phone game in exsistance. Even better than shadowgun and riptide gp.

Agree with Dark Meadow. I disliked it at first and actually uninstalled it. Then decided to give another go and have been hooked ever since

I bought shadow gun for my galaxy s2, do I now need to buy the THD version for my HOX? Or will my previous version update itself to make the most of the HOX?
i don't like Dark Meadow at all. i took one door, then it wouldn't let me go back and check the other doors. i got to the first stairway and died, then it put me back at the beginning and i had to fight through the same hallways again. i don't call that fun. i read somewhere that it saved your progress, but that is not true.
As title says, has anyone bought Dsoid from the Play Store? Its a DS emulator based on Desmume in early stages but the dev has been pushing updates regularly so I bought to support, costs $1.99. Not much titles work with it yet and not all features have been ported over yet but still bought it because it seems to have some potential.
In particular, has anyone tried Pokemon Diamond with it and got it to run smoothly? Thanks.

I purchased as well and tried diamond. It's slow but the dev seems to be progressing in that so I'm just waiting for stable game play. I hope they can get it working because I'm too cheap to get a ds just to play the newest Pokemon games. That's the only reason I would get one and now I don't have to. Wonder if black and white will be up for grabs any time soon.

Anyone else try Dsoid out?

Seems pretty playable using an OCed CPU and GPU (@ 650mhz) with Clemsyn's Elite Kernel. Only played a few mario games though. I hope it progresses, it has a lot of potential.
I'm running Pokemon Diamond on it with the elite kernel oc to 1.8ghz and it runs great.

I'll be giving Pokemon a go later, or possibly tomorrow.
I just get a white screen when loading a rom. I'm on bug less beast with faux's kernel.

Might have to try this setup then. Running Der Kernel and it was very slow for me.

Yeah, this...until you actually get into the gameplay. The app needs some major optimizing before it becomes remotely playable.
Installed, tried NSMB, hated the frame rate, refunded.
I downloaded FF IV and it was laggy.
Just buy it and support the guy. Its getting better.

I just got MC4 yesterday and I'm pretty excited.
I think it would be nice to have something similar to the Deadzone thread.
My ingame name is Awesoham.
Bought it for 99p yesterday. It runs quite well on my N7 with ParanoidAndroid 2.50 and franco.Kernel r25. Graphics aren't at max, I'm guessing, but I've had no lag during gameplay. Tried to play online last night but it force closed itself when loading a map...

How much different from MC3 is it. Its always hard to tell just form the Google play Images.

Do you have a sense 4+ device and love playing games on it? Well your in luck because HTC and Play station Mobile are being generous enough to give out free PS Mobile games to anyone with a HTC device with Sense 4+. Every week has a new game starting February 1st and the first game is Cubixx.

This might have been mentioned in the Apps and themes thread before this official announcement, I managed to get Samurai Beatdown back on 17th Jan for free, Lemmings is there still now
But I agree, a good move for HTC to try and get some better media attention hehe
Tells me that the service isn't available in my region/country!!!
