Hey!
Now Flipboard is available for Android Tablets, too, but only with screens 7" or higher.
I would like the tablet-mode on my note 2, but i cant change between.
Is there a tablet mod from flipboard for the note 2?
Just tried it in tablet mode with the xposed app settings mod in here and it works fine. You have to install the framework in the first post first

Thanks for the hint. I've tried it, but you need some coding experience to do it. Could you upload your Modules/Libraries or whatever other needed? I think you could make a lot of people happy with that!
I just installed the framework app then the any dpi app. You can select tablet mode for any app that supports it. I've got gmail flipboard the playstore and youtube all running in tablet mode. It really is as simple as installing to apks

Hi
Do you know what permissions I need to set?
Cheers

Since it is intended to work as a framework dependent system-app the permissions have to be set to r/w/w - r - r

Bit of a long shot as I have asked at Android but no-one seems to know. When changing to one of the pre-installed wallpaper in the SMS app on the Note everything works fine. However, if I decide to choose my own pic it loads, but it's very dark. I had the Note 2 before and recently returned and before I could get my own pics showing normally. Anyone got any ideas on this one? Thanks.
If you have rooted device then try xBackground xposed module(get from theme and app section.)

No, not rooted, but thanks for the reply.
Could anyone still running 4.3 on Nexus 7 or 10 or has another compatible tablet who has installed this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...dia.tvanywhere
please extract the apk and share it on here.
I have managed to sideload it and it works on 4.4 but I can only seem to get hold of phone version online which is stuck in portrait mode. The page says the version varies with device so there must be a tablet version which should install on a compatible device.
Thanks in advance.

You can't use this app if your device is "Modified"(Rooted).
Tried it on my S3 on 4.3
It allowed me to access my Tivo stuff but wont let you watch live TV.

There's an Xposed module that lets you hide root from individual apps.

IT WORKS on KIT KAT, thanks for the attachment and hard work. You've done a superb job.
On my HTC one, as I've installed a custom Rom I had to edit the build prop to make it the correct htc Europe model etc...
I built it with lucky patcher.
I used lucky patcher to install as well as it helped to remove the old version firstly and start a fresh.
I had to block root access as the app requested permission too.

Lucky Patcher won't let me remove the old version. I get 'restoration failed'. Strange thing is using the Android UI settings I cannot find TV Anywhere. Doesn't seem to be installed. Any ideas please? :silly:
Clear cache... of it's still being stubborn.. I believe the app stores itself in mnt/asec mnt RW and delete tva folder.

Thanks for your reply. I've been trawling through Root Explorer but cannot find anything TV Anywhere related. I'll probably just do a factory reset as I like to do this periodically anyway.

I'm just looking for some feedback on what the Virgin TV Anywhere app is like on an OUYA. It is easy to navigate using the OUYA controller? Are the programmes all displayed fullscreen? Are On Demand and Netflix and Youtube channels also available?
I ask because at the mo I only have the HD+ Virgin box. To use this app on an Android device you need a Tivo. This means having to pay an extra £5 a month, but more significantly, take out a new contract to get a Virgin Tivo box. So I want to be sure the app is any good before I splash the cash and signup.
Cheers
The app allows u to stream a select few channels live... You can't watch on demand or content in my shows. But you can remotely manage your recordings... IMHO... Not worth upgrading as you can use rcx for remote and other free TV streaming apps... I'll make a list of channels Virgin streams...

Any idea on why my note 10.1 2014 can't find my Samsung smart tv when I turn on screen mirroring? I rooted the tablet can that be it?
If you are rooted then that will cause it. Download wanam and it will allow it again

What do I I install from xposed?

Go to the themes and apps forum. Its on the first page. Rooting the device trips some drm protection. the poster linked a download for a patched file for you to install that will restore your screen mirroring.

Install Xposed framework then download the cosmetic system status module, in downloads... It will set the status back to "Official" in settings and allow screen mirroring...

Will this work for the 600 as well?
Sent from my GT-N7105 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
No need to install anything as Duly.Noted already said..
There is a patched file called libWFD_ENGINE.so for the P600.
Just search for it
Edit: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2556527
Btw. If you are on CleanRom, as you wanted to install, the patched file is already integrated.
On my Galaxy S4 M919 Ver. 4.3 Rooted Game Guardian opens and then auto closes, Game CIH also does not work. When it opens it stays open and says that it doesn't have root access. but when I go to SU it is in there having root access. Also checking with root checker it assures me that I have root access. I have the latest version of both apps. ANy help or experience will be a help.

If it is app related you need to email the person that made the app. If you're on a custom rom and it's worked before on your stock rom then you need to post in the section in what rom you're on.
