I peoples i have just got a galaxy note 2 . . it is unreal!!! looking to root . . . i did have a galaxy s2 which i did root . . but still abit of noob when it comes to first time root lol . .
anyway i'm on O2 network, baseband version is : N7100XXALJ2
i see alot of tutorials just say that its for n7100 so if if follow those instructions using odin, i should in theory be ok?
i got a tutorial and in it downloaded a zip file with this file name :CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.
in the zip it includes a .tar.md5 with the same name, odin3.ini and odin3-v1.85.exe.
it would be much appreciated for advice thankyou x
Tar file to PDA in ODIN - don't change anything, close all KIES processes on PC, phone to download mode, connect, wait for yellow field and then START

It's easy - go to my thread LINK - read all first 3 posts carefully, download v4 and read readme txt file inside update folder.

first select a rom to flash
you can download one from modaco.com
there is a lot of cockers so u chose a rom
second u need windows xp
then setup samsung modem drive
now the rom (.exe file) just double click on it
follow the steps
and every thing will go fine

Hello Friends actually I have samsung galaxy ace 2 i8160 it was on 2.3.6 gb stock few days ago i update it to the jb offical stock rom after updated its working very slow lagay and getting slow down now i want to downgrade it back to gb 2.3.6 i search on google in few site there is tutorial how to downgrade it there are many links i download one link from this site

It's been a while since I'm using my tab 3 10.1 P5210 . I've tried every rom except the new CAG Rom . So, I took the initiative to start a new thread for noobs . To guide them if they have any problem . I can only give the solutions for the 10.1 inch variant . I can't go too much deep about 7' & 8' versions . So , everybody is allowed to answer the questions . If I don't get the time to come online and answer your questions or if somebody knows the answer to that question the please feel free to say whatever you know . SOLVED
**Went ahead and Upgraded to Odin 3.09 (Even though the buttons are all different). Flashed TWRP 2.7, and installed SU and rebooted. So far everything is going well.
I have a question for you, I know this thread is quite old. I decided it was better than making a whole new thread.
I just received a Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 p5210, went to root it today and ran into quite a problem.
Running Odin 3.07
I went to root and after completion it hangs on boot(at the current moment I am hanging right after the samsung comet where the samsung logo glows blue. I have tried several things, including reflashing multiple files etc and I am running out of options.
I did not flash a new recovery, Although I did try to unroot via:
