Hebrew WM6.1/WM6
for Tytn and Jasjam
NEW VERSION!!!!!
Includes:
- Superfast and Superlight.
- No backwards hebrew bug reg. problems.
- No Booting issues (No freezes, dead on wake etc.)
- No Longer based on commercial hebrews.
- Works on Tytn and Jasjam or any hermes with FULL hardware
keyboard support.
made from scratch hence no problems
This version has NO menu or interface translation
just full on hebrew support including
hebrew localization in regional setting.
there is no embedded SIP keyboard (YET) thus there's a keyboard cab with hebrew support also attached but this
is only temporary till the next version is out.
IF YOU USE ANY DEVICE OTHER THAN HERMES:
this version will (probably) work but it will install
a not needed hardware keyboard support

sorry to disappoint but....
The bug with device not waking up after standby is back in this version - I've hard reset my device with the same ROM the version 2/3 worked on and it made it die... (rip)
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Heb3.zip version and it worked just fine.
did any of you succeed in making any java emulator work with this hebrew version? doesn't work for me...

i tried this cabs
it doesn't work, it asks to register the version and Hebrew is left to right
i installed first the certificate and then the main cab
i tried the cabs on abusalsa v.27 rom

worked for me but ill recook it 4u and check whats wrong..
its wierd cause i just added the control didnt really change much of it. meanwhile you can use the previous version with the hebcontrol.exe..ANYWAYS im trying to port wm6 hebrew from asus which will work much much better cause this one is based on wm5 .. coming soon..

BTW I only tried thus far; heb3.zip version, and the wording is messed up left to right, so internet explorer is spelled backwards in hebrew. I am hoping its all fixed up in this version. I'm english first hebrew as backup (for wife) make a new update!

its a known issue its probably cause your not using tytn

alright well this version is working ok thus far besides that. Toda raba achi!

YES it works on any wm6.1 providing u r using tytn/hermes; if it does not match the certifacte store from tytn it will show hebrew backwards same on the original versions from the other threads..
BUT im working on herbew for-all-has-nothing-to-do-with-pdac version

I am in need of a english to english dictionary, with a large number of words. i tried looking over the internet and found some but they don't work..
like the Webster's_Third_New_International_Dictionary,_Unabridged.. it was a 30mb file. i tried the demo first and would buy it later but it didn't work.
i desperately need an English to English dictionary for school and work !!

i'm using lexisgoo on mines, pretty good for class whenever i don't understand something. i'm not sure about english to other language dictionaries though, i have yet to try those

Hi. You can download a free english dictionary from:

You will need microsoft reader to use that dictionary but that is also free.

Can you please post the source link here to download this dictionary + the steps to install & get it working on X1... I have tried to download from few sites but every time I copied it to Memory Card in X1 & tried to install it said it is not proper PPC application... Even doe this is probably years too late, the link below is of a basic Pocket PC dictionary, that uses "Oxford English", and has a vast word collection.
Go to "FreewarePPC", then search for "Pocket Dictionary".

I do understand your problem, you want arabic language support in the phone, so you can read text and email in arabic. I'm looking for it as well, will update here when i found something.

here you go guys I'm using this with TP2 with AT&T and it works like a charm.
its from Microsoft. It will let your device read arabic only not writing. DOES NOT SUPPORT OPERA 10.
Also I attached arabic keyboard so you can right if you want. uncheck all the languages except arabic.

After installing you should change localization to Saudi Arabia to use full features of the arabizer.
Though know it seems this Arabizer has a long way to go before it'll work like a charm.

Got error "Load applications list error..."
Some minutes ago I installed 'wAppStore.cab'. Basically it works on my Windows Embedded CE 6.0 unit (.NET CF 2.0 is default, but I upgraded to .NET CF 3.5, hence I don't know whether .NET CF 2.0 is enough), but I got error "Load applications list error..."

This app can be installed on My Storage (Omnia i900), right?

I newly installed wAppStore (2012-02-06 19:28), the error previously reported still occurs. BTW: after 1st run, the xml-file got created.

Nice ROM, congratulations!

This ROM is very good!!! It provides many functions that original full unlock ROMs don't have (eg. It supports Call Manager, whichs can't run in most ROMs )

Well, all builds again reuploaded, now with fixed tethering. Also added cab for enabling bing maps.

Did you test with emulator ? or something else ?
