Morning all,
Im looking to change themes / icons and im a bit of a noob.
Im currently using Atom launcher - so do i have to look for icons & themes that are compatible with this launcher?
Ive trawled through most of the "homescreen" thread and seem some amazing screens/themes/icons but i dont know where to
start to install any of these?
Do i need to be rooted - as im not currently and dont really want to at the minute.

Hey guys. So I'm running Kings Unleashed R5 w/ Gravity On Ice theme and couldn't be happier with it. I'm kinda new to theming so I apologize for the noob question. I found and downloaded an icon pack for GOI which had about 10 in it. What I'm trying to find out is does this mean that's all I can use? Are widgets from other Sense roms compatible. I can't find it now but there was a Pandora 4x1 clear widget that I really liked. I've searched the forums only to turn up nothing. Anybody can help I'd really appreciate it.
If thats all the icons that it had in it, then yes. That said you can use any icons you want depending on how you want to install them, ie via root explorer by swapping the .png files, pushing them or via your launcher if you use adw or lp. Im very new to this so I'm not sure on the sense widgets. I would think that so long as they arent for a version of sense that's newer than the one on your rom you would be fine, but please verify before trying as I dont use sense often (waiting for virus to finish fixing his kingdom port). Oh and no idea on that widget sounds sweet I like clear backgrounds. Hope this helps

Its a fine theme with loads of icons to match. However does anyone know where or how i can get that Google widget at the top to theme up ? Its not in the set thats purchased and its not in the widgets.
Contacted developer a couple of times now but no response.

I love everything about it I just for the life of me cannot figure out how to change just the icon in the titlebar. Alarm clock, battery status, 3g and 4g symbols. Can someone please assist. I unfortunately am new to this site so I cannot simply post into Koni's Thread and ask there.
What can I do to replace those icons?
I am not a newbie I bricked this phone many times but was able to fix it I have rooted thunderbolts, samsungs, and a few evos I just have no experience with theme stuff yet.
I would love to have the stock htc icons or even perhaps the cynagen mod icons those were awesome.

im not sure on sense but i know on other ROM's they hang out in the SystemUI in system/app if they are not in there then they will be in the HTC resources file in system/framework
on this one the icons for the title bar are all in com.resources.apk and the theme stuff is in framework.res.apk

i take it you found them then?
finding them was the easy part but every theme i download doesnt have a com.resources.apk so i have no clue how to find for example a new 4g icon and replace it.
sorry for bumping an old thread, but i searched and this is the most relevant thread title for my problem
Can anyone explain how flashing theme work? Because I tried flashing 3 different themes but nothing changed after rebooting. I did everything as told, wipe cache, dalvik etc but the theme just wont change. Is there something I should do to apply the theme after I flashed it?

I've got my phone down to how I want it, although.. I think a white battery icon such as the one from MIUI v4/v5 would look great with it.
Is there any way I'd be able to achieve it? I've searched for 'em, but I just see 'similar' ones that doesn't look quite right. Decided to bite the bullet and make a thread to ask haha.

Its a themechooser theme. U can find it here in xda.. Actually, I do love the Holo version..

Edit - I see it's T-Mobile's ThemeChooser LOL. Wow. Didn't know you could load themes onto there and apply like that. Pretty awesome, thanks!!
Hi Guys,
Is there any where with a guide to applying the awesome themes available for the Viper rom? Just a little worried that i will mess things up. On another note when i try to apply status bar themes from the hub some of the icons refuse to change, namely the venom hub icon and the wifi icon. Am i doing something wrong?

Not normally in the habit of bumping my own posts but does no one have any suggestions here? I have flashed the dark one theme via recovery and still the status bar icons for the Wifi and Viperhub refuse to change to anything but the stock ViperOne icons?
