stock kernel

I'm wanting to put by phone back to stock and have been reading

question is i'm on telus so is the stock recovery the same for the telus version? also is the stock kernel the same?
I do have a nandriod back up before i rooted it so i'm not sure if i need the stock recovery.
does this also unroot my phone?

Not really because if he has a rom with a different kernel other than stock he will be stuck with that kernel image if he doesn't flash/odin stock kernel first.

Back to stock with recovery from AOKP?

I wanna go back to stock rooted with recovery from the build of AOKP that's posted on Android Central, and I was wondering that the safest way would be. I was thinking of using the Odin OC of FF18 , then using the Autoroot package to flash the recovery. Is there an easier way?
I'm only going to stock to update prl while I try to find a good SGS3 based rom.

It won't unroot unless you're flashing the stock .tar. You can revert to stock recovery and keep root using mskip's Toolbox.

How to flash stock recovery

Needing to take phone to sprint. Flashed Odin FI27 stock unrooted. Trying to figure out of there is a way to flash stock recovery...Is there a way to do it?

lol really? if you flash fi27 stock unrooted through odin you dont need to flash a recovery.. it will flash fi27 stock unrooted kernel

Hey I was just asking because when I flashed odin back in the day, I still kept my CMW. I was wondering how it would do with the new tar. I haven't flashed a tar since getting the phone on its release day. Anyways....I got it all fixed about 30 min ago.

awesome.. n yeaa, the tar will usually include the rom kernel and modem.. fk09 you have to flash the modem seperately

Not zips, but the stock ODIN files can be found in this thread.
