Rebooting sets my battery stats back to 0 - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I.e if I go to settings/battery after a reboot, all the stats are 0 again
Is there any way I can ensure that battery stats carry over after a reboot? (wanamlite and perseus kernel)
Thankss

When the battery level is in between 90-100% a rebooting will reset battery stats. AFAIK there is no way you could fix it. It's Android's problem rather than any device specific.
When the battery level goes down below 90% all is okay.

Battery problem

Last week my rooted Desire was on 25% battery and after 2 txt messages it said plug charger in and battery showed as 0% and it shutdown.
So I re-charged it while the phone was off and went into recovery and cleaned battery stays and switched it on and battery was 100%. It was fine until today then it was at 21% same thing happened.
Is my battery at fault?
did you wipe dalvik cache, partitions etc?
You need to give more info like radio, rom etc.
Use juice plotter and see what times of day the phone is losing so much charge imo.
Use batt stats and see under 'partial wake usuage'. On you keypad dial *#*#4636#*#* and goto batt history...
I had this a couple of times. Callibrating the battery fixed it.

[Q] CM 7.0.2 battery stats issue.

Hi Guys,
I am facing a strange issue with battery stats indicator. When I charge the battery it does not go beyond 85%. Mt vitals are as under
CM 7.0.2-buzz
Radio 13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10
Kernel 2.6.32.39-nFinity arcotuxbox #1
I have already tried to wipe the battery stats and after rebooting i am able to charge upto 100%. However, on my next charge-up the battery stats get stuck at 85%.
any help is appreciated.
Get the battery calibrator app from the market. (Made by a dev from xda).
I would recommend turning device off charge for 5-6hours. Turn device on(PWR+VOL DWN+TRACKPAD). Let it charge for another hour with the battery calibrator app open then wipe the stats and unplug. Use device til it goes flat and recharge.
I'd recommend wiping dalvik cache before you start and cache partition.

Thanks f0xy for the help.
Battery calibrator solved the problem. All I did was to charge the battery fully, reeboot into recovery, wipe the battery stats, charge to 100%, run battery calibrator and reboot. Problem solved.

is it usefull to use a Battery Calibrator?
I have done almost always battery calibration with all my androids.
-Battery Calibration from Market
-Load battery full, do calibration
-Use battery till phone shutdown
-Load battery full when its turned off
After these steps regular use and battery acts like it should
In CWM go to advanced - batery calibration
do this with 100 procent batery
let the phone run dry
charge 100 procent while phon eis still turned of.
You can repeat this until it is good again
good luck
i try latest doomkernel, from the review it said that battery use just average 1%per hour, but when i try it,my battery drain faster,in 6hour my phone dead,so i think maybe i miscalibrate,ok i will try all the method above, thnx for help

[Q] Battery stats NOT resetting after charge

Hi there.
After a day of usage with the purpose of testing Greenify benefits, my battery usage does not reset after putting it on charge or reboot.
What i've tried for fixing:
Disconnect the battery from the phone.
Using a different battery - Different percentage but same usage time.
Wiped cache and dalvik cache.
Performed a fix permissions.
Deleted batterystats.bin from /data/system - For strange reason i no longer have "wipe battery stats" on CWM recovery.
I am using AK Kernel (Pirates) but when i first discovered that battery issue i was using AK Kernel (Purity) - So i assume it's not the kernel?
Trickster MOD: Stock settings.
ROM: Paranoid Android 3+ 4.2.2
So, as i said before, the only new App i installed before that issue was Greenify, but i hardly doubt it's its fault.
Any suggestions before i perform a factory reset?
Meanwhile i'll see what happens once i disconnect the phone after a full charge.

Update: a full charge actually resets battery stats, but not anymore on partial charge/reboot/battery remove.

reset battery stats

usually I don't charge my battery more than 70-80% and in settings the battery stats won't reset if I don't charge 100%. is there any way to reset it manually or if it is possible to make it reset as soon as I disconnect the charger? I know bbs and stuff like that but I want the android battery stats do this also.. using oos 3.2.8 with xposed
