Didn't go that far till now and haven't yet learned how to build from source. As the title tells you it's a pure port. Though not much tested as i was too held up with CAMP. Supporting this one would be an issue as i have CAMP running right now. Wondering how do you manage with so many builds.. hats off to you :good:

No time to test it thoroughly. I'll upload it anyway and let you guys test and report.

Links updated with ROM download. Test and let me know how it goes.
Testing right now. Will report back soon
Edit:
Install is super fast 0.o (faster than gapps xD)
Liquid smooth launcher
First boot:
bootani runs smooth and i like it
service works
mobile data
no auto rotation with hardware keyboard
booted fine.
turning on wifi
set governor to interactive (as always)
trying to check system in the liquid splasher -doesn't work
keyboard fix is there
and auto rotation works in messaging app
bln not there (I guess from the CM10 part?)
no rotation on home screen
no notification bar toggles (but widget toggles to left of home screen)
torch apk doesn't work
but camera flash works
everything works fine but what I've reported from boot to now.
so...recap
NOT WORKING:
Auto-rotate during setup
BLN -from CM10
torch.apk - from CM10
notification toggle (but the widget on the left solves it) -- nevermind, found it in settings
Working:
everything else
keyboard fix for Key 111 DEL and Key 464 ALT_LEFT are working perfectly
auto-rotation during typing for apps work
so...for now.. I believe this will be my daily
runs smoother than some of the other ROMs and I "like the way it "feels""
good job ninthsense
Glad you liked it. Yeah it will have the same troubles as CM10 as that is used as a base.
I'll have to patch framework-res.apk for the Keyboard rotation fix.
Torch should work from the toggles and yes the torch app FC's.

I think I might go in and remove torch.apk from system/app then since it won't work anyways ya'know.
and torch doesn't work from the toggles. just tested that too. the app fc's underneath it. so.. maybe try and grab the torch from PAC?
and like I said. The rotation works in apps that you can type in. just setup and the homescreen/lockscreen/appdrawer don't rotate.
and you should borrow apollo.apk to replace the ICS music player app.

um... so i downloaded the ROM with liquid launcher and flashed with cwmr... at first it went great. (yes, i did reset, dalvik cache, etc)
then i rebooted to install gapps (from link in OP, downloaded latest JB gapps),
and after that reboot, no keyboard at all.
physical keyboard didn't work and android keyboard was constantly flash force close, even when not in use.
i really liked the look and feel of this rom, does anyone have any thoughts on this?
for now, i am back to dman's rooted stock ICS.

The gapps should be the one for 4.1 and not 4.2 as they won't work. Are you sure you downloaded the right one. I can assure you the ROM does not have an issue with the physical or the touch keyboard. Try it again with a full system + data wipe.

Yup, if you can't wait then flash this through CWMR http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1594830&d=1356582861
The above will fix the lights for the keyboard and touch both.
I'll also release a fix later which will include the keyborad sym key as well. Enjoy.

To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks. This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode. This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even systemcomponents individually. Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course. Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on. This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size. You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to. You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot. You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode. Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself. This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone.

Wipe caches, factory reset is a must if you're coming from another rom than CM9

You want to port PA? Take a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=27558806

Go to Settings, System, Font size, set it to NORMAL
Check "Auto Hide" in Settings, System, Statusbar, to finally get Fullscreen
Trebuchet Settings: margins:SMALL, show permanent searchbar:YES, Grid: 4x4, resize all widgets:YES, Wallpaper scrolling: OFF
If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

ParanoidAndroid JellyBean - v1.9.2
Thanks to - nerve21, spirobakos, netmatrix and gokussjx for testing it for me.
v1.97
New option: "large" to trick an app thinking the device has a real big screen. some need it, like amazon kindle to jump into tabUI. some even react on it, gdrive will slightly adapt its layout - makes only sense if you give it a small dpi though.
The algorithm to extract the actual layout containers from apk files works more precise and can reveal more than before. there will still be a few apps left who do that layout stuff in java - we will add an override button for that, but in the meantime you can edit /system/etc/paranoid/properties.conf .layout=360 for phone-like UI, 600 for phablet, 720 = tablet, 1280 = super huge tablet
Several bugfixes from us and cm
v1.96
Breakthrough: We can finally target the actual layout containers inside the apk. If an app brings only phoneUI, you see it right away as you only have one UI option. If it brings ten, you will be able to pick each one of em. We're finally away from this Phone/Phab/Tab nonsense.
Total Hybrid engine revamp, alot less clutter, many bugfixes, apps wont make jumps when you load them up because their actual size is calculated by the engine.
Panel is still growing. It brings new options and new preferences that can even change android system settings.
All recent cm10 patches and fixes
v1.9.5
Finally hardware accelerated recents in TabUI, as fluid as ever. The ugly gradient is gone aswell
Paranoid got its own dir in /system/etc/paranoid - pad.prop is not properties.conf
A clean backup properties file is shipped, you can make a full reset in the panel in case you lost it with all the settings you made
Force option can be activated in the panel, good for widget scaling
The DPI sliders in the panel read min/max props from properties.conf, define them as you like
TabUI Recents are back to a bigger size, this is temporary, i'll look for ways to port the phone implementation as project butter skipped the tabUI code
CM fixed alot of features again, we included them all
v1.9.2
Softkeys toggle
Merged CM's theme engine
Fixed a few unclean sources
HDPI adjustments
Fixed Wifi Supplicant
v1.9.1
Hybrid bugfix, finally keyboard/facebook scaling works on JB again without sideeffects
Layout fix for notificationcenter gap in tabUI
Layout fix for recents in phabUI
Speed prefs ask for reboot
New bootani thx to nasaorc
CM10 patches
Code:
[B]20120719v1.8alpha[/B]
Bluetooth was not working in 1.6, now it does
Selection in landscape was botched, now it isn't
Hide statusbar/navbar is back
A whole bunch of CM features and powermenu options
Corrected the way JB displays sw720 TabUI apps (it wasted almost 40% of the screen with margins)
Dreadful CM-default ringtones are out
Some other stuff i cant remember right now
[B]20120717v1.7alpha[/B]
SysUI bugfixes, all three modes work by simply dropping it into a mode, no more navbar height issues
Recents/menu merge
ParanoidPreferences panel, barebones stripped down version, no bug reports please, we know its not stable yet
new bootanimation, thx nasaorc
[B]v1.6[/B]
Built from source - 10/7/2012 - 00:27:58
OTA app changed (This trashes OTA update, please download manually this version). More responsive methods
Merged latest CM changes, including a lot of fixes and improvements for device tree
Improvements on frameworks, fixed for once and finally all DPI related crashes
SystemUI mode can be configured now
Cleanup and speedup of hybrid code via native libs (I'd say 25%)
A [B]lot[/B] more of changes, you can check them here: [url]https://github.com/ParanoidAndroid[/url]
[B]v1.5[/B]
Built from source - 25/6/2012 - 11:3:12
Updated CM9 Kernel to 3.0.36
Improvements on OTA app, scheduled checkups
Improvements on Backup app, now it automatically launches on startup after you install a newer (or older) version
Hybrid speedup, less lag, considerably faster list scrolling when pad/pal is in action
Keyboard scaling, an androids first
PAD/PAL bugfixes for apps that still crop images in lower dpis
Settings revamp, speed preferences to switch between modes without having to set up anything, less clutter
Trebuchet extras: 3x4 widgets, speed dial menu button, ... and some weird rocket button which im sure will be very useful to most of you
Pad.prop revamp, new preferences that should pretty much nail it. Im sorry but this trashes your old settings again, do not attempt to restore them unless you do it in a text editor
v1.4
Built from source, 3:03pm COT. Synced with latest Paranoid sources
Fixed most of the issues with pad & pal, now facebook, whatsapp, keyboards, etc will be shown just fine
PAD/PAL work in phonemode 100%, no weird toggles and stuff like that. you get full tablet apps without caveats
Settings cleanup, most of the garbage dpi options are gone, should be more intuitive - i ask you to not bring your old pad.props though some things changed. if you know what you do take a look and edit by hand
Trashed our LatinIME repo - not needed anymore
Fixed OTA 100%, now it should never hang on 99%
Navbar editor is now hidden on tablet mode ... ups missed that one.
ParanoidAndroid Alpha Livewallpaper
Issue
-Wifi Tethering doesnt works, but USB/Bluetooth works fine
[B]v1.2[/B]

Removed "Global density", if you STILL want to mess with this one with v1.2, you've not even tested a 50% of what this ROM can do.
Fixed a lot of other things on pad & pal, cleaned up sources
Fixed themes crash on tab mode, still crashes sometimes on phone mode. [Seems this one is totally fixed now. Need to test a bit more]
A HUGE amount of fixes, improvements and so, this version should be rockstable.

We brought in the 4.2 stuff that is currently in aosp, which is stuff that you won't really see, like the browser engines and stuff. It doesn't include 4.2 apps, those you will have to get yourself

Whats new you ask....wellllllll
So far I have the system fully up to date with latest CM changes (ie you can say "CID" and the camera will take a photo, brand new option)
- I have cleaned up the code ( Previous overlays were a mess)
- We now can get multi colored LEDs (Red, green and yellowish)
- I have fixed panadroid so that Stock UI and Phablet mode works. I just need to get tablet modes straight and pretty sure I know what is wrong.
- Torch is now fixed.
- Now using mako power profile since we are using mako kernel (AND NO YOU CANT JUST FLASH ANY MAKO KERNEL!!!!! THIS HAS BEEN TWEAKED FOR US)
- Stock UI and Phablet mode now work flawlessly. You can change your dpi without any issues. Both tablet modes need a little work and working with a Paranoid friend to fix it. I am pretty sure I know the issue.
- A few kernel mods have been done.
- CM's Apollo apk has now been added in
- A few other tweaks as well
Download
http://d-h.st/waC
Whats not working:
- As of right now Torch just needs to be enabled. (This will be enabled in next build, still testing it out)
- I need to tweak ROMControl and Navbar settings (Well Nav bar seems to mess up device a little) You will get navbar in Panadroid Mode
- Camera has a max of 8MP currently and auto focus is still iffy. We are working on getting this going.
*******FOR NOW PLEASE DONT TOGGLE THE NAV BAR SOFT KEYS OR NAV BUTTON...I NEED DISABLE THESE ALL TOGETHER.*******
Features
- We are featuring the Faux based kernel Synergy and I have put together, though he did most of the hard work! Kudos!
- 4.7 Linaro compiled kernel and ROM
Thanks to That_Guy0505, and Barshalen for testing this with me. Most of all would like to thank Theo2889, for he gives the best reach arounds...top notch...PM him..sure he would love to help!

Also I would like to let everyone know that if you want the photosphere camera posted by _Epic to work I have tested it and can confirm that it does work with this ROM. I deleted the gallery apk in Root Explorer first and then flashed the zip. Enjoy this ROM guys, it's beautiful!

this rom sounds pretty good.
I have a couple of questions:
Does the camera (focus) work on this ROM?
Is the camera limited to 8MP or 13 MP? (CM 10.1 can only do 8MP)

Bud...I will make sure you are the first to know when Auto Focus completely works. Shelnutt2 and myself are both looking into see why the mm-qcamera-daemon keeps running and causes auto focus not to work. We will then move onto getting 13mp camera going.

I'm really excited to try this; I'm just waiting for the camera focus bug to be worked out in all the AOSP stuff since I use it on a daily basis. But this looks amazing. Thank you, Devs.
Been running this rom for over a day now and I haven't had any issues. There's a lot of features so just be prepared to spend some time to set it up how you want it. Well worth the time to play around and test every feature/option. It's my daily driver from now on for sure.
One quick tip: if the nav bar pops up from messing with the paranoid settings, just set the nav bar size to 0 in the interface settings. Have had no issues at all that way.
Also Rlasalle, on the newest official change log they said they added a script so that after flashing a rom update you don't have to re flash gapps, and it also saves all of your pa settings. Is that going to be in the next version by chance?

I tried this rom, but reverted to cm for now... Some really frustrating issues: navigation bar only goes away if i set size to zero, but that messes up some other parts of ui. Dpi settings are wrong and unfixable. Some fonts are very small, while others are standard. Gps still doesn't work.

Dpi settings are completely "fixable". Go into the hybrid settings, then apps. This area lets you adjust the dpi of each app individually. If you want the app to be the same size and layout as stock then set it to 320.
What does setting the nav bar size to 0 mess up? I've had no issues..
As far as GPS, make sure you get a GPS lock on a stock based rom before flashing an aosp rom. I have not had any issues with GPS after doing this.

Go to hybrid settings, swipe right and go into interface, set nav bar to 0%. This has already been mentioned in a few posts. As for apps with small text, go to apps in the hybrid settings menu and change the apps size to 320.

Of course a ridiculous amount of credit & thanks go to my fellow Andromadus team members (Flinny, fyodor, darkspadez, Flemmard) for all the incredible work they've done maintaining the device branches that the vision uses. Without their work none of this would be remotely possible.
Additional thanks to the testers in #mimicry: HTCDreamOn, bsmith, smurf, ermo, dkt, Sobek999, Ventricle, ustech, Quintasan, MissyVixen, slickorr, kanty2, pierre_ja, KaszpiR, and any other less vocal people I may have forgotten.
Donations
I don't personally accept donations for ROM work (explained here). The SlimBean team, however, does, but in this case I would recommend that if you truly feel the need to show some monetary appreciation for this ROM that you donate to Flinny. He's put in the most work for making ROMs like this possible on the vision, plus he's a member of the SlimBean team, so show him some love!

Andromadus SlimBean Notes
It's important to first start off by saying that this ROM is not an Official SlimBean release. Since the vision is so old, and the device branches such a departure from the ones SlimRoms maintains, it requires special commits and things that would make it very difficult to integrate with the rest of the codebase. Keeping that in mind, issue reports should be mentioned here in this thread or to myself personally.
Speaking of how old the vision is, though, that's a very important thing to remember when running this rom. A few notes on the processing power of this device in relation to JellyBean:
You may be limited by which apps you can run and how well they will run
Too many apps that use background processes will damper your experience with the ROM
All my testing so far has been on a somewhat minimal setup. Not too many widgets, no notoriously bad apps abusing wakelock and killing my battery and things have been quite pleasant. Coming from the S3/S4 I was prepared for a devastatingly slow experience and was surprised and delighted that that simply wasn't the case. That said, you may not have the same wonderful experience that I have on Andromadus SlimBean, but keep in mind that this ROM uses the Andromadus device branches and kernel, and as such will likely suffer from the same upstream issues.
Finally, if you are reporting issues, make sure you can reproduce it on a completely clean build and always include a logcat or last_kmsg for reboots. If possible try to reproduce the issue on Flinny's CM10.1/fyodor's AOSP builds. If you can pinpoint a specific issue on this ROM that isn't present on Flinny's or fyodor's, that goes a long way to getting it fixed quickly!
Known Issues
EGL visual glitches may occur on landscape orientation change. They are minor, rare, and can be backed out of.
Upcoming Features & Ideas
These are features and ideas mentioned in the thread that may be worth working on. If you have an idea of your own, please feel free to submit it and if you like an idea mentioned here, mentioning it may help change the priority and immediacy of including the feature.

Yeesh, that was exhausting!
I figured out the issue and a new build has been tested and uploaded. To anybody who did manage to download the previous build (and to my beta testers), please update to this one as your su is broken in a few ways!
Sorry to everybody who waited to download this, but I'm at least glad I caught it before you guys flashed it!
very good! it's great, i like your rom.

Thanks a lot, good work as usual!
Only bug have in 4 days :
The developper option menu force close even if I've taped the build number many times.
NB : I didn't full wiped before flashing from CM 10.1.. I know, it's bad, but I didn't have time , I wanted to do a quick test but I stayed on it!!
Edit : the slimroms site is out of line?
I wanted to look into the add ons...
Edit 2 : I did a full wipe and clean install, and it's ok.
i found small bugs.
pulldown noticebar, mobile network don't on/off. the drawer roll is slow。

I am so confused. people seem to be saying battery life is good. But I can barely get 2 hours screen on time.
Have I done something wrong?
Yes. Download betterbatterystats and see what's using your battery. It's almost never the rom or kernel, it's always apps and background processes. You should be getting 3.5 to 4h screen on time, but as I said, the apps you use and the quality of mobile reception can play a big part.

This is a CM10.1 based hybrid ROM with these features:
* Based on CM-10.1
*PA's hybrid engine for a full user experience
* Switch between three different UI modes
* Change the system DPI
* Add apps to different DPI groups
* Change the navigation bar height
* No reboot needed for UI changes
* More features and improvements
* This is always a work in progress
** ROMs in post#1
** Change Log in post #2
** Customization steps, tips, and tricks in post #3 (WIP)
Bugs:
If you have any video playback issues, disabling HW overlays should remedy it
Go to settings/developer options
Camera focus issues are a common problem. There is a patch in place on this ROM, but it addresses picture quality and not the focus issue. Patches are available here in the threads.

***THIS IS MORE OF A FIX RELEASE THAN A NEW FEATURE RELEASE. Hybrid settings and Hangouts are fixed, and the latest commits from CM are in place.
Some 4.3 UI elements and fonts are also included. MORE TO COME!!
+ JellyBeer is now 4.8 Linaro toolchain compiled, we have been waiting an age to finally get here but we have and my gawd is it smooootttthh.
+ MMS jumping home on floating window should be fixed now.
+ Toggle for floating window fixed within settings should also be fixed, obviously if it isn't them let us know.
+ MMS breath - I liked this feature and it wasn't too painful to add so it made it as a small addition.
+ Missed phone call breath - same as above really. Gotta have both!
+ Latest CM merged - this includes the Privacy Guard & CM QS tile, which I would like to add due to our QuickSetting tweaks a little bit of a ***** to add.
+ Floating window improvements & bug fixes - less FCs, none of this black on black or white on white either.
+ First issues should be resolved also now, as the UVing has gone, control it with fauxclock or trickster to get it to your desired level.
+ AutoHide Statusbar is back again! I know, why remove it?! Well it should help with floating windows as it allows you to keep screen estate and also not have use PIE.
+ Camera - Smart Capture has been put in there, if you don't know what it is have a look http://goo.gl/OfaY1
+ Camera - TrueView also added this is to keep people happy again.
+ Fixed Clock showing default in Settings > System > Statusbar also.

Change Log:
VERSION 4.32
This isn't a huge update, so again it is only a minor jump. & with Android 4.3 around the corner we want to be a little careful with what we are doing so we don't have so much work to do. That being said this is what has been added.
+ JellyBeer is now 4.8 Linaro toolchain compiled, we have been waiting an age to finally get here but we have and my gawd is it smooootttthh.

6/12/13
Added cherrypicks that allow 12.8 and 13mp picture quality
Added cherrypicks that alleviate poor incoming and outgoing call quality
Rebuilt ROM with full functionality of PIE in place
Screen Flicker issue resolved
Provided new builds with different sets of features
Went to bed
Customization steps, tips, and tricks
Enabling PIE:
First, you need to enable expanded desktop. This is in settings/system. It is also worth noting that you can and should add the expanded desktop toggle on your power menu, to make it easier for you to turn the PIE feature on and off. This is also in settings/system, under power menu. Next, turn on your PIE by checking PIE Controls in settings/system/PIE Controls(PIE Controls has a folder and a setting within the folder). After enabling PIE, then you can configure your new toy with size, orientation, and color options. The extra configuration choices are pretty self-explanatory and are also under the PIE Control folder.

Couple things.... For those of you who do not want the navbar and I know there is just put the height of it down to 0 and you won't see any more. Also this is one of the leanest bills I've seen I have 1.4 gigs of ram available. Good ROM to do benchmarks with. OP should have dev title or at the very least recognized contributor!!! He is bringing a tons of life to our device.
