Did you guys even try to type CID in google/search for it in this forum ? You are not only wasting your time while waiting for help, but also ours as we spend it to answer.
You just need goldcard, you can find out how to do it in many many threads here, i.e http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2018511 ( scroll down to bottom of first post ).
i has tried many method in this forum and just stop at bootloader unlocked

Hi for all af you
My hdh from uk with cid=htc__001 i downgrad it from 2.3 to 2.1 and install arabic rom 2.42.415.1 ruu exe file .
So that I can not get the new update so I download the update file for this rom from internet and but it on the sd card and I get this error from the recovery your cid is 11111111 and this update need htc__j15. So that I use some adb instruction to change my cid to
htc__j15But it give me an error .
But the app from market cid getter tell me that your cid is htc__001 but when update tell me that your cid is 11111111 .and adb instruction tell me that your cid is 11111111.
How is that? What shall I do

Please post in the appropriate section that is q and a section
Posting in the wrong section will not help you
The device must be s-off. Change the cid of the device to HTC__J15.

Phone will report original CID while booted up, but could still be SuperCID. Find somebody with PD98DIAG files and you can full SuperCID your phone.

well, i see i need to apologize for my first post, i dont want people to think wrong of me,
but most of you know that moment when 2-3 times per weeks a new dev-thread appears, you read it and recognize that it's only a question and not even dev related, so sorry to the OP for my frustrated reaction,
and btw: i wouldnt even use an iphone if i got paid for using it

Hi guys,
I am from Manila, Philippines and had recently root and flashed my ROM to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 with CM10. The new ROM is good but there are some things in ICS that I couldn't find with the CM10 ROM. I need help now to put back the stock ICS to my phone and on the threads that I had read I need an RUU but couldn't find one in the threads. Please advise and kindly provide me a detailed step-by-step way of flashing my old ICS.

You said you're from Philippines so I assume your device CID is HTC__044.

CID is HTC_038
where can I get the correct RUU file? any help / link appreciated. have tried to search on xda / android forums for the whole day. Did try hTC_Asia_India_2.09.720.1 and hTC_Asia_WWE_2.22.707.2 from androidfile.org list. but that did not work correctly
Really desperate to get my phone back to life...thanks for all your help.

CID Checker 2 gave me the number 11111111 for the CID number.
Besides that, I've already downloaded http://androidfiles.org/ruu/securek...835U_3831.19.00.120_release_273801_signed.exe in case I ever need to use it.

You just need to follow the guide in General about changing MID. If it doesn't work, ask in there with as much info as possible including any errors you get
