T-Mobile Galaxy S II "Hercules" on AT&T

Hello. I was wondering if an unlocked T-Mobile Galaxy S II (with the 1.5Ghz processor) would work on AT&T's 3G network? Also, what about 4G? Would the antennas support these data speeds on AT&T?

Can i please know the APN settings you have so i can have 3G & 4G on ATT

how many guys are using USt-mobile in N7100

I'm super concerned about the Data speed, wondering if the N7100 is compatible to US T-mobile 4G network.
Most if not ANY unlocked GSM phone will Work on T-Mobile on EDGE.
T-Mobile does not have 4G they have 3G/HSPA+
But with the N7100 you will only get EDGE unless your in a refarmed 1900 area.
You're better off buying the Tmobile version.

Hspa+ upgrade?

Has anyone else noticed their hspa+ speeds go through the roof? My typical data speeds on h+ are between 5-8. Today I got this on my GNote 2... Has AT&T done some upgrading, or is the Note 2 just THAT awesome?

Assuming that I'm completely understanding your case and question... I could really say something that will be extremely embarrassing, considering how completely asinine and ignorant this question in... but I'll keep it civil: if you're on T-Mobiles network, and T-Mobile doesn't have 4G LTE, can you explain to me how on Earth you think that you'll be getting 4G LTE just because you're using an AT&T phone??? Surely, you wouldn't be foolish enough to be suggesting that LTE is built into a specific handset.
Thank you for being civil with me.
I know the tmo doesnt get lte. I meant 4g hspa+

Test speeds with speedtest.net app on both stock and a ROM for comparison. Some ROMs say 3g when they are on hspa+.
Be warned. This takes up around 5 megs a pop. So don't do it a ton of times.

Make sure you're in an lte area
Make sure your apn settings are correct and you have selected lte in the cell settings.
Also something to keep in mind you'll only get 4g speeds when it's needed aosp roms have a throttle built in to save battery.

I did all of that but what would I do to make my phone use LTE? My speeds are fast I just want to make sure I'm getting what I paid for.

LTE coverage
[LTE is not yet at 100% rollout status. I am getting LTE backhaul, which is what most of the US will end up doing. It will take time to be on the "backhaul" but have you checked to see if you are in an LTE coverage area? You can purchase an LTE plan, and it say you have basic LTE on your AT&T app, but that DOES NOTmean that you have it. Check with your local store. For whatever reason AT&T doesn't have most of the backhauled cities listed.
