Cool handgrip for photography - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Saw this on Kickstarter:
"snappgrip: full control of your phone's camera with one hand" (I can't post links, so just search kickstarter for it.)
It is an add-on grip that makes one handed photography easier.
Already contacted the developer, and they are planning a S2 / universal case.
It seems like a great idea, just wanted to share.
Terry
PS: I am not affiliated in any way with this, other than as a backer.

Instead it uses low-cost semiconductor-based sensors. Mr Spare says this means the company can sell the technology to the manufacturers of mobile devices for about $35. He expects it to be available in the first half of 2003.

[Free App] Quixby Deals - Woot + ShellShocker

Hey guys,
Been a long time viewer/reader of XDA especially on the Android side of things. However, recently made a app with the help of a few people for WP7, its a daily deal app showing you the daily deals from Woot and Newegg ShellShocker. Any of the various Woots (Home, Deals, Sellout, Shirt, Kids, Main) can be pinned as well as the Newegg Shellshocker.
I was honestly mainly looking for feedback on how to improve the application, we are currently working on bringing in quite a bit more deal sites, but Im sure there are many things everyone would love to see from a deal tracker, so please feel free to share those idea's here!
App Link - http://www.windowsphone.com/en-US/apps/d934c468-4f8f-4f1a-ba16-a1606525715e
Hoping to bring a beta of the new sources version here soon, so these changes would help be a part of that beta's initial build. Cheers!
The app is great.I'm always looking for deals. Even when I'm not buying. Maybe you should add an option for either light or dark background.
Nice app, I like it!
Minor suggestion: Perhaps provide greater contrast for the text label on each tile? The white text blends in with some of the tile colors, making the label difficult to read.
awesome!
Some suggestions to add
dailysteals.com
1saleaday.com
bedeals (actually I don't really trust this site, the ssl is untrusted lately and the "deals" are pretty much what things go for on amazon)
I also check giveawayoftheday.com, but they have maybe one good thing a year, and it's not something you can do from your phone.
Looks good, what about deals for outside US?

Not a bad idea, will look into it. Your referring to the main overview page only correct? Since the product pages themselves are usually colored. Let me know, and I will add it to the list!

Deals outside the US are most definitely missing, are there specific deal sites your thinking of outside the USA that you would like to see?

Share my device to dear friends.

I'm a guy lacking of sense of direction. My friends always invite me to an occasion to meet them but i lose the destination lot of times. Disturbing with the trouble, i resolve in buying an individual mini GPS navigation. With it, i'm able to get the direction accurately and it helps me a lot. Observing other functions of it though i just use one of them. The whole device is small, portable and can be used as a key chain.
But at the same time, the sense of navigating is not so strong. And the interface is all of black font with the blue light. Not so comfortable when glance through it.
Generally, it make sense for me. Just sharing it to guys. Thanks.
Why do you have to come up with all these stories in every single post you make on XDA advertising for tinydeal store you work for? Lol!

Looking for a developer for a personal app w/photos

Hello;
I'm planning an event and I want to do a game to brake the ice where guests look at other people's old photos (when they were kids) and try to guess who's who. The easiest way to do this would be with an app. To keep developing costs down, we'll have a couple of tablets for people to use (the photos will be printed and displayed) so we don't need an app that works with everyone's phone. Just one single model of Android tablet. Much easier to debug.
I haven't found any website that provides a platform for this game, but it looks to me that the code for a simple kids learning game like "Match the animal's photo with the name" could be easily recycled into the app that I'm looking for. Anyone interested? What do you guys think that it would cost to develop something like this?
I realize this may not be the best area for this post. Any suggestions on where to post it would be appreciated!

Which Software to use?

Hey all,
I'm looking to designing my very first app, I have experience with website design but brand new to apps.
I would like to create an app similar to Yik Yak where users can submit text and other users can up or down vote it. (I'm not looking to use the GPS feature like Yik Yak)
Any suggestions on what website/software I should use. Cost isn't a huge issue, it seems like all the sites are reasonably priced.
Thanks!
Eric
Use Android Studio
