How to set to Private number ??

How to set the galaxy nexus to private number ?? I am in the UK and i was able to do it before with my galaxy s 2. was this feature removed? or moved??

If you are wanting to have YOUR number show as private when you call someone that is USUALLY a Carrier option and has nothing to do with the device unless you have an app for it. I have an SGSII (I9100) as well and I have never seen this option.
If you can show me where to find it I would be appreciative...

Dialer->up right there are 3 dots->settings->Aditional settings->Caller ID

I dont see this option on mine... I'm on Verizon with 4.0.4...... any ideas? I dont see "Additional options" at all under the dialer menu.....

Working Pedometer for Note 2?

I've tried a couple of pedometers such as Noom and Accupedo and find it doesn't register steps once the screen is locked (works on the Note 1). Could it be conflicting with Google Now's pedometer? Does anyone know of one that works?

I've tried a few as well, none work.

do they not work on cyanogen either?

When I try find any resources about it, some references said this is hardware bugs on Galaxy Note 2. I was try using CM 10.1 and still no luck

Hello,
I am new to Samsung and have a question.
Previously I have been an HTC user, and was able to restore a Developer version (HTC ONE) ROM to a At&t (HTC One) through TWRP.
So is it possible to flash a non At&t STOCK ROM to my At&t Note 4?
And also how would I go about rooting manually. CF-autoroot not available for the At&t version.

Nasvi, due to that att's bootloader is locked we are unable to flash any sort of custom recovery. As for root, I'm also hoping that someone finds root soon. It could take a while for a work around to getting a custom recovery, as it took the ATT G3 around 3 months for a workaround. If your looking for an alternative, I would get an international or the tmo note4. Hope this helps.

Does anyone know how to remove the 'AT&T' that always displays in the top left corner of the screen on the top bar? It's annoying. I tried looking through settings but not sure if I found anything that could turn it off.

Is it just me or do you find yourself hitting the back button more often. Sometimes for me it doesn't seem to register after the first hit. I have to hit it a second time to get it to go back.

How do I set the internet browser to open links in new tabs and I stay on the current page? I know this was a setting on my S3, but cannot find it on my Note 4.

On the keyboard each item has what on other keyboards might be thought of as "ALT" symbols. As an example "n" might have a ";" in the upper right corner. However if you use the capital the small "n" becomes a capital "N". As there is not an "ALT" key I cannot figure out how to reach those figures.

Does the S pen on the Note 4 work with the back button? I know it didn't on the Note 2 and that always bothered me.

There are two ways you can use those alt symbols.
You can hold the button ie "n" has "," with the symbol you want and it will bring up the alt symbol.
If you hold "n" down it will pop up "," and you can insert that into what you are typing.
The other is switch to the symbol keyboard bottom left of the keyboard there is a Sym button tap that and it will switch to the symbols keyboard. There are 2 pages 1/2 and 2/2.
To return to ABC tap ABC.

There is one simple option I have been digging for since I got mine several days ago and still cant find it. Where is the option to enable multiple widgets on the locKscreen? This option was under lockscreen settings on my s4, but isnt on the note 4, cant find it under any of the settings.

[Q] Unlocking the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit (SGH-T599)

Awhile back I recall reading that the SGH-T599 (4.12) could be unlocked by entering ServiceMode *#197328640#, but on my phone I navigate through the menus and the last screen has no enteries. Does anyone know an alternative free method?

Galaxy Note 10+ One UI 3.1 All The Features

Review: Initially I noticed minor stutters whenever I swipe the page or launch the app. After wiping the cache from recovery, it fixed the issue! The update isn't major but has some nice features.
Two things to note, there's no Google Discovery nor Object Eraser.

Where on Samfrew??? only one on the site for my model N975U ATT I've got and its not the updated version. I've got 11 with 3.0????

There is an app on PlayStation called Samsung update checker. Download that and install and search for updates and you will find them. I am on the exynos Note 10+ . Cheers!!

Does anyone know if we will get the feature to crop a detail in the picture such as S20/S21 series ?
It is available on my S20+ but not on my Note 10+ :|

Not all the improvements of the S21 are activated on the Note 10 + in version UI 3.1
The photo gallery does not have the "delete object" improvements and the menu does not display the "labs tools" option..
