Installation Instructions:
Reboot into recovery
WIPE DATA!!!! if coming from another ROM (if coming from CM7, it should be fine.)
Choose install .zip from sd card.
Find the cm.zip file and flash it.

I love this rom. Very sexy and unique. I have one issue with it and want to know if its just me.
Whenever I receive a text message it pops up in the status bar as its supposed to but when I click on the message icon it takes me to my messages (as its suppose to) and I do not see the new message.
Am I the only one this is happening to? I recently do not want to get another rom because I love this one. Everything else seems to work great!

I have this same issue, just finished the Titanium back up to realize this, it's a big issue...the only solution I found was installing Handcent, then I disabled notifications from Handcent, and it seems to be working. Like when you open the stock messaging app, the messages are there. In the stock app you have to leave the notification and pop up for it to work. Hope that helps.
The battery life on this Rom is awesome! Thanks for this, found my new daily driver...for now haha

I just recently got all the telephony framework playing nice with miui and have not had a chance to give this a full day's run but from what I have seen it is quite stable and should cause no issues using this as a daily driver.
I have noticed some minor graphical glitches in some apps, especially when rotating the device but nothing that is too severe. Please keep your messages to specific questions, issues or comments about this ROM. If you have general questions about MIUI then you should seek out the appropriate forum for that discussion.

Theme chooser works. If you look at the screenshots in my OP you will see I tried out a Transformers theme . Right now there are very few v4 themes. Most of the themes were made for GB MIUI so not all elements theme correctly. Here's one that I know of that does theme just about everything http://forums.miui.us/showthread.php?19959

Cool. There are quite a few v4 themes out there. Just wondering if they'd work with this rom. I can post links to a few sites that have them if you wish. So the soft keys don't light up at all? The kernel for this is your own as well or can we use one of our own liking?

I concur. I've been WAITING for a Miui rom that was really stable (tried eugenes but not quite there yet). That this is ICS based makes it that much better (once it's truly stable enough to be a DD, if it's not already)

Well couldnt tell ya...I ported our Miui.us rom to Crespo rom to Crespo4g and got wimax working. I have no idea what is in his. All I know is what I fixed and that I have everything working fully. Hope you enjoy!

Not sure where your lag is coming from...might be a program you have in. The rom has been blazing fast for me with stock kernel and the others I let test it. You might want to check what you have installed...a program might causing it. Or it could be bad flash... poor dl, incorrect md5.

This rom is based on CM9 port by modpunk (most credits to him). I just edited, modded, tweaked, themed to make this rom faster and more user friendly My battery survives about 2-3 days at normal usage, so I think it's pretty nice as for android

After first boot
1. You may install data2sd. To do this you need to have sd card partition. I won't talk about this here, just google. To install after first boot up you have to get back to your recovery and flash this zip:

2. reboot phone 2-3 times to get all apps loaded. first three boots will be longer, be patient.
3. go to settings->performance->processor-> set minimum to 320 and maximum 806. then press back key once and go to memory management and enable kernel samepage merging. Now go to settings->developer options-> set window animation scale to 1,5x and transition animation scale to 1,5x. also enable Kill app back button. sett every other settings as you want, especially launcher settings.
4.open mx player app and download codecs from play store

Hmm I didn't test this part of google now. Actually It's not same as siri so don't expect much from it.
Bluetooth not working...if it is based on CM9 alpha6 , then there should not be any problem regarding this.

Could you please work with your ROM so that icons & other things also take it to all reddish with Matt black. Something like the theme of Bazar6.

3.0.72 kernel, I see no reboots, but this isn't my daily phone, so idk

So far so good, though the Chameleon OS itself doesn't have many themes so you need to use MIUI or the other options they give. Haven't had any random reboots just some force closes. Like that it has 4.2.2 which has many awesome features so will see how that works with the themes. Good job OP in porting this to our phone, thanks.

I'm pretty sure it is kernel related... Coderz .62 and .64 kernels had a fix for the heat. I wish I knew more about it. I think the MIUI rom had the first 3.xxx kernel with the fix in it.
I believe elgin has a pretty firm grasp of the problem, but no time to find the fix and implement it:

its not that simple. last i checked miui was on android version 4.1 point something. The ramdisk needs to be modified even before flashing. and even if that was changed, that's still a completely different kernel.

What is Xylon?
A Generally based of many kinds of features around the Android Development and fits into minimal customization. It may act up like AOKP, but totally not at all. Overall, we're still in work in progress state of changing the base to slightly minimal like FNV before. This ROM is built off with GCC 4.7, O3, Linaro Strings enabled. (Galaxy Nexus Kernel, fusion with anarkia's horn, O3 and Linaro GCC 4.7.3 enabled.). Feature list will be available in the 2nd post. Changelogs. We don't usually write up but we will starting builds of 2.2.

update: flashed, and everything seems to be working fine have been looking for a rom like this one. finally found something thats not stock based that i liked since coming to the s4. nice work question though, any plans to include cyanogen mods focal app?
noticed the play store isnt updating automatically, so i updated it myself. But when i try to update my apps, it keeps saying invalid package
Nice Rom! I used the inverted 6/21 which probably didn't need to that since the Rom has a dark option. Most of my apps installed. I did have the invalid package error. Turned on WiFi and it the app installed. It's a bug in the new play store. Will themes work on this Rom?

Anyone wondering this is an excellent ROM, I have been using it since it was just fnv kang for maguro... one of my favorite ones. How can I get back to stock DPI ?? Maybe op could p put a fllashable in first post. I really dislike hybrid from pa and as such have never learned to use it
Edit: just turning of hybrid mode will bring back to stock dpi

the invalid package error also occurred in older playstore versions
update: flashing PA gapps fixed the issue for me
You are gonna force me to root my beauty and the beast. This was my only rom in the Nexus 4 before I got my GS4. Got to see first if Koush' chromecaster is built into this rom if the build is CM based.

What issues have you been experiencing w/ cam? I haven't seen anything (issues) on any AOSP ROM to date.
Like mgbote I've found camera issues on most as well. Specifically HDR mode. This ROM was no exception

This rom is solid, great rom by this young dev. The only issues that I found (phone and contacts) are related to 4.2 CM scripts, like every AOSP Rom.
But still, excellent work and cool features right?
