Lg optimus g lockscreen

I was wondering if any kind developers could try to port the lockscreen from the lg optimus g to our device. Theres alot of request I have seen on the threads so im sure that alot would be greatful. I have searched and found the apk for it but not as wise as some here.

Not yet. We only have the lockscreen apk and odex files. If someone can figure out how to port it then they can make a flashable zip.

I would imagine we'll need to mod the framework or something

I would guess at changes to framework.jar, android.policy.jar and images added to framework-res.apk...
Haven't done it myself before and don't really have the free time lately to dig into a new project...

Thread cleaned out. Cut it out and play nice... mmk?

Just noticed aokp has pretty much the same lockscreen but uses different images. This could be as simple as replacing some png files...
Gonna try it tonight and see what happens.
Of course that will just emulate the animation, not the water droplet sound or other options for the lg lockscreen. Hoping someone can port it properly soon.

Ive been working on this with the material I have thus far got it to load but got alot of fcs so still working on it.

It would take me all night to explain what I have done lol so when I find something more solid I will share dont want people messing up there devices because they tried something I posted. I have been blessed with three e4gts so I can take more risks than most hope you understand. I have a few people working with me right now trying to figure it out also working on multi window and building a rom and waiting for next leak.

This is good, but porting between lg phones should be somewhat different as the framework should still be similar. Needless to say, one could try to compare both this and the original you posted earlier, see what changed, and tackle these changes on the files on our devices.

This is not QuickMemo, it is just the Notebook app.
Anyway, QuickMemo, afaik, is a part of the system framework and cannot be run in a non-stock rom.

[REQ] Port the LGMessage.apk from LG G2

Hi can anyone port the stock messaging app from the LG G2 to our devices? TIA

I tried, due to the theme differences and it uses info from the SystemUi, it fails, I cannot figure out why. I do have the LGMusic.apk from the G2 working now.

I'd also love to see this since LG's messaging app is my favorite at current. I heard that it had Qslide support??? There are also a few other G2 apps that work on the G pro as well. I was able to get the file browser with qslide support working, along with the gallery and keyboard from G2. If anything though, definitely would like to see an updated messager.

Yeah, I got the multiphoto working too. I am having to use root explorer to install the .apk's, they will not flash.

Can I instead get the UniMessagebin.apk of the US G Pro? The E988 version turns SMS to MMS automatically when I include emojis in the message. TY

Unzip downloaded LGIME.zip and u will see system folder there, then just push all files from system/app and /lib to your phone in same direction using any root explorer. Set premission to 644

If by the US version, you mean E980, then it wouldn't help you. It also does the conversion.

you have to flash them in zip format through cwm or twrp. do a search on the forums zip files are posted several places for atleast the qremote the others you might have to either make yourself or find someone with stock that will make them for you

Qremote works and there's a download link for it in Madmack's CM thread. No qslide, though.

here is a link from the optimus g section that explains how to add halos pop up window. It is like qslide but lets you choose which apps you want to beable to use should work just fine on optimus g pro

Wow. Never even thought about that lol. Forget qslide, this does sooooooo much more and the browser works with it unlike qslide. Thanks a ton for sharing this!
