Try turning wifi off specifically. Sometimes I've noticed a few apps just refuse to work on cell when wifi is on and not connected. Also, try a clear cache and force stop.

I would love to help you,
I tryed both but nothing happened still not working!
I think facebook use too much connections.
Because its always the same: i open the app and it connect! then the connection interrupts.?
I tried tcp tweaks via cwm : nope
Tried other rom : nope
Other kernel : nope
With internet browser : yep it works
Any idea?

hello - does anyone know why ebay will struggle 99% of the time on wifi and wont work, but on standard data its fine?
and facebook - on data it struggles to update and wont load latest stories etc,yet on wifi its fine??
is it a known issue? is it app related? or the handset? or a setting i need to tweak? im on stock rom and plan to say that way due to using roms before but the navigation feature was broken on every rom.

Settings> more networks > mobile network
Change second sim to wcdma/gsm
This will enable 3g network on second sim

Apps like opera, dolphin, and other browsers works fine... Play store, palringo and other chat apps says network connection error.... They seem to only recognise the first sim network connection.... But now since I'm unable to connect Internet through first sim it's sort of impossible to connect to those apps.... And u use Vodafone but it's not that because u tried with idea and bsnl too
And I don't understand why network auto disables after seconds of connection..... Should I try unrooting the phone??
Is your csc matched to your region? Sometimes there csc settings that are region specific and one of them is the modem settings.

Before that do this but I dont this will help you anyway give a try its free
Check you have set proper time & date
Disable & re enable data & try again
One more did you used any application after rooting to disable/limit/firewall or any type of application which deals with internet connection??? If yes which?

OK thank-you let me try them... And although I have installed juice defender plus which could be the only one app that can interfere with network connection I have disabled automatic enable and disable in its settings so it couldn't be it and no other app is installed that could interfere with network settings

Does juice defender has permission blocking for other
This works like firewall revoking or not allowing certain permissions todo what they say like improving battery backup , performance bla bla bla
I don't use any battery improver app cause what they say they do we can do better + they eat battery keep running in background
If you follow some simple steps like set wifi setting to turn of when no data is being transmitted
Setting network schedule for nightmode so it will go offline if cell is not used for 30m in night & will work as usual for day there are many grab/google them

Dude seriously..... I just un installed the juice defender as per your suggestion and BAMMM.... my problem is solved... Although I have disabled every setting that controlled network settings it seems that app was controlling it without my permission.... Thanks for helping and a big thanks I was irritated with the problem for two weeks...

In 4.2.2 there is option but you need to toggle every now and then or apps like power schedule ,schemes
They do it better way
I mostly use inbuilt option as long as possible rather using apps

Hey folks,
I'm having some problems with my note 2 GT N7100, I can't connect to the internet, my mobile data is active though it's not working, it works only with whatsapp, then my wifi won't connect, it keeps saying "Obtaining IP adress" and nothing happens after, and yes I am rooted and I guess my problem is because of a root app.
More infos on the attachements, it would be great if someone could help me solve this problem.
Thanks guys.
Can you go to the internet using your mobile data? And did you put in your WiFi password correctly?

Well I made a hard reset and installed a new firmware, now it's working fine, it's just that Google Play stopped working.. I'm getting the 500 error while trying to download any app. I guess my phone is not feeling good these days.
Custom firmware? Maybe try reinstalling gapps again. It seems to solve most of my Google play issues.

No, the official Samsung's 4.1.2 firmware, well I have solved the problem, it has nothing to do with deleting Google Play's cache or deleting Dalvik cache or whatever, since I am rooted and I have Xposed installer, I used to use Hack connectivity module and it seems that it was blocking my wifi access so just by deleting it everything went good. Lucky me. Thanks bro for your help.

I recently rooted my S4 but after doing so, I keep getting notifications that my wifi connection is unstable. Which is usually just a bother but it doesn't allow me to download anything from the play store.
Try going into Settings and Wi-Fi. Delete the Wi-Fi AP and connect again.
