Are there any ROMs based of Touchwiz 4.1.2 with multi screen and the premium suite features? If there isn't one, someone should make one since they leaked a 4.1.2 for the I9300 version.

I tried to get multiscreen on Serenity as a 4.1.1 rom, but that didn't work for me. Anyone have a working multiscreen rom at all? I am willing to settle for that. I want to get my S3 back so badly. T-Mobile takes forever to fulfill warranties.

As far as right now.. The Devs are porting the multi view feature

What Rom would you recommend to me if I want to use multi screen?
to address your "wants" i suggest wait for it cuz it the moment all of the ROM in this thread DOESN'T HAVE ""YET"" the multi screen feature i myself is still searching for that too and am patiently waiting for it
How long did it take from the leak of the 4.1.1 for the international version to get the source code and rewrite it to be compatible with the T999 version? How long did it take carriers like T-Mobile to get the 4.1.1 to their customers since the leak?

Seriously?
1) if there was a leak it would be posted here
2) SEARCH....
the only leaks so far are for T-Mobile, but we should be getting OTA soon since Poland is getting theirs now.
Glad I searched. I was wondering the same thing. Wish someone would show some 4.1.1 love for the S3 on at&t. I actually like touch-wiz.

You can run the Canadian leaks on an AT&T phone, I'm running the jellybean leak with touchwiz on my AT&T S3 just fine. Unless you really like AT&T bloatware...
If you want Touchwiz and 4.1.1, use Aristodemos. That's what i'm using. quite a nice ROM.

Was just reading through MobileSyrup and came across this article.
Nice to see that we will be officially getting the update to JB. I know we have been able to get it for months via AOSP, but still nice to see what the TW version will have to offer.
Proceed to link below for info:

Absolutely true. Don't expect to get this officially for a really long time. AT&T wants to "approve" and put their crap on it first.

But wouldn't we be able to port the 4.2.2 international GNote2 ROM when it comes out? And, as a plus, it will be exactly the same as the AT&T version minus the bloat?

I really dont think Samsung will release 4.2.x for the Note 2. I think it will stay 4.1.2 until the Note 3 comes out. Then, the Note 2 MAY get whatever the Note 3 is running.

Knowing Samsung, they WILL release the update. But knowing AT&T, they probably won't "approve" it for a WHILE. The bloody multiwindow update took what? 2-3 months?

Do you guys think that the 4.2.2 Touchwiz will have group messaging? I love everything about touchwiz but if it doesn't have group messaging I can't live without it, that's why I'm on rootbox now. I know I could install a third party app but honestly they all suck compared to cm10.1 mms

I'm rooted, but I've got no reason to flash anything. I didn't even really want the Multiwindow update - I never use it except to show off to iPhone users: " HEY LOOK WHAT MY PHONE CAN DO".
Edit: That being said, I will probably flash a pure, untouched, completely stock International 4.2.2 rom to my NII.
so i have been browsing for a new rom to update my phone but all of them are JB roms. or i must be blind.
can someone just point me to a STOCK like rom not a JB rom.

he's correct. actually, if you have any US carrier variant of the S3, you should not be looking at ROMs that are running or support 4.1.2. they are not for your device. stay here in the AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III forum

Try team Synergy's SynergyROM. It feels and looks stock but it's really amped up with tons of customization options and floating multi-window.
Don't forget to hit Thanks if I've been helpful.
I am saving towards a Galaxy S4, but in the meantime, I was wondering if there is a Rom that can make my S3 look and feel like a S4?
Thank you!
If you're talking about the features like eye tracking and finger hovering over and stuff like that then no. Its nearly impossible to port those things since its completely different hardware and TouchWiz is closed source. There is a couple of ROMs that have multi-window and other goodies but not like the S4. You can search and look around for a modified S4 launcher and theme to make it look like one. But that's as close as you'll get.

Yes, to answer your original question. There is a way to make it look like the S4.
Hyperdrive [XDA Link] - It has a few of the widgets that the S4 has as seen in the screenshots. Other than that, I would say hold off for official updates on the S3.

Only issue is the i747 and i747M seem to be the forgotten models when it comes to updates. I just read that the Verizon model just received the 4.1.2 update, and quite recently Sprint and T-Mobile received it. Also, the i9300 just got the 4.2.2 update. Meanwhile, the most used S3 (i747/i747M) hasn't received anything, nor have there been any news or hints regarding updates.

BS... ATT themselves don't have 4.1.2
they probably do but its unreleased.
Lol if you do please PLEASE provide a system dump and help the devs out. If you do why didn't you say so if every stock TW ROM on xda is only 4.1.1.
If you had it wouldn't you of noticed every single ATT S3 out there was different from yours? .... Sorry and apologize for the language but its straight BS
And here is the direct link to an ATT s3 that only ships with 4.1

My AT&T SGH-i747 only came with 4.1.1. (Somehow, I thought I had 4.1.2; but, apparently I was wrong.)
I was also searching for ways to upgrade the software to make it more S4-like. If I must wait, then I must wait. But I really enjoy tinkering with it.
Until recently, I had AOKP Android 4.2.2 on it, but an update (9-10-2013) caused my phone, messaging, and several other apps to disappear.
So now, I'm back to the original factory, unlocked, unrooted, stock Android 4.1.1.
It wants to do an AT&T update, but I don't know what the update is. So, I haven't approved it yet. I want to go back to AOKP, but I can't find the file I used with ODIN to root it the first time.

If you are going to AOKP, I think you just need to flash a recovery, i.e. CWM or TWRP and flash the rom of your choice.
flash rom to 4.1.2
As long as you're not rooted the built in OTA updater in the Settings should update you to 4.1.2. I recommend CF Auto Root and pwncakes' Quantum rom (4.3) if you like AOSP, if not, Hyperdrive is easily the most complete TW rom.
