I pre-ordered the Cyanogenmod case from Cruzerlite when it went up on preorder last month.
http://www.cruzerlite.com/preorders/pre-order-cyanogenmod-case-for-samsung-galaxy-nexus
The item's page states the preorder period would go through early December. Has anyone heard an update on this product, or done a preorder through Cruzerlite before? Just curious.
Update: shipped!

How has the finish held up on this case? I ordered a DroidCon one back in Feb (dark grey all over, with an android in a tux), and around the bottom, where the ports are, the outer layer is rubbing off, and is white. I loved the feel of the case, but wasn't super impressed with the durability of the finish.

I've had mine for a few months and the finish is still holding up well. I only have a few small scratches along the bottom of my case, but they are very difficult to see, since it blends in. I prefer the camera cutout on the androidified a2 cases (its a bit bigger and shows the silver border, the CM case covers the border) but this case has held up a lot better. Most of my a2 cases have stained, but this one is still like new. Cruzerlite has really improved their quality with this one.
Well.... The case WAS doing well... Until I took it out of my pocket today. At least the colors are similar so its not too noticeable.

Hey gadget,... that one bottom corner with all the unsupported silicon. Does is seems as though it would go flappy and loose it's grip on the phone's corner over time? That's one of the problems I had with the Evo 3D Commuter case. Very little outer shell support for the silicon on the top and bottom and over time the silicon just lost it's shape and went flappy. Got so bad, you could actually see daylight between the phone and the silicon at just the right angle. The sides were fine with good support from the Polycarb outer shell there. What's you take,... seems like a future concern or no?
That is my concern too. Still too new to know if this will be a problem. The one thing that was a problem is the USB cover, it fit too loosely. It kept popping out, I finally cut it off.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
Thanks for the review. The colour options look sweet. Am really tempted to get this to replace my drab looking black commuter. Although judging from the pictures, the commuter still looks like it offers greater outer shell support.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Both the Commuter and Aegis have advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion the Aegis is the better case but I can see why people would prefer the Commuter.
I doubt the rubber on the one corner would go loose over time but until i've used the Aegis for a good while I can't comment any further.

I'm not the biggest fan of pouches, but the Crumena Pouch has definitely won me over. I was a bit hesitant in how my experience would turn out, but it actually went surprisingly well. I will say that using a pouch is different then using a standard case, but it is doable. I found the Crumena Pouch to be high quality and absolutely superb and I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pouch for their Galaxy Nexus. Below you can find my video review along with high-res pictures of the case.
Compatibility: All Galaxy Nexus Models(may not work with external batteries)

I use a screen protector with mine, but it's not like the XO skins with the wet install. Nonetheless, I don't get scuffs on it. There are times when the pouch leaves a mark on it, but I can easily wipe it off.

Yes it'll work perfectly fine. It might take around a day for the pouch to adjust to the thickness though. You should be just fine overall.

True! So rather than close the thread we should switch it up into something productive. For example:
· Why you would recommend the UAG
· Why you chose the specific color UAG
· Or post a picture of your S3 in your UAG
This way it doesn't turn into a copy of the other 1, 000+ thread but we still get to see the case owner's participate. Just an idea.

That is common, specially the white version. Their customer service is top notch. They sent me a replacement. Just file a claim form, send pictures of defects/cracks, wait for response. They will send you a code. That goes into the coupon box, at the checkout page. Place order. Total 0.00 with shipping.

^^ Mine's on the way also. What's your impression so far?
It has a thin feels like I have nothing on my phone at all.. It does how ever make the power button really sensitive to touch.. I like the feel of it
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
Nice. Can't wait to get mine. Although I might be getting screwed over by the site I ordered from (it's been a week since they "shipped" it but the tracking number is still invalid)
Got mine in today and liking it very much. It feels like it adds maybe about an extra 0.5 - 1 mm vs the Diztronic. Its definitely thicker than the Diztronic but not by much. In exchange for that slight extra thickness, it feels like it would absorb a drop better than the Diztronic and the lip around the edge of the screen is also a little thicker. The buttons are also easier to press with the Incipio vs the Diztronic and the headphone cutout is a little larger also. I also prefer the soft touch paint coating of the Incipio. Both are great cases but I think the slightly better protection the Incipio offers over the Diztronic will make it the case I use on a daily basis.
Update: case is great but super sensitive around the power button I do like it tho phone feels better in hand than with generic eBay case

I am starting to think it might be a design/manufacturing error on incipio's part. Maybe it's supposed to be for AT&T version of the phone but they use the Sprint version dimension instead, or vise versa. That would explain why it's still not showing up on incipio's website.
Anyway kratos313 how's the otterbox compare to the incipio when it comes to thickness & size?

bought from aliexpress.com. from the seller who ships out in 3 days. got it today (took just over a week) . it was well packaged but "'v500" was hand written on the box.
I opened the package to find a alcohol wipe, cloth, sticker and the "glass" ... it actually seems more like a thick plastic than glass though.
it was hard to tell that it had the film on the side that gets applied to the tab glass. but it was there. one oval cutout for the front camera and light sensor.
the dimensions are spot on. really good fit. feels much batter than the plastic film I had before. not sure how long it'll last but so far seems like it's worth the $17.xx.
