Crazy 3g speeds! - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

There is something wrong with my 3g settings, just look at the two speed tests,on one I got a terrible upload speed and on the other one is ridiculous fast!3g should be called "3K" because is only 300 kbps!:
I am using BLEND v3.0.

I hope there was a fix for the 4g to never turn off, because 3g is ridiculously slow!!

To those where NV has been rolled out

Have y'all seen better signal and data speeds?

Not really. I think they made it worse. But I live in a small city where we have 5 towers which got their voice or data upgrades for NV.

Ouch. That sucks. Have you checked out sprint.com/network for updates? Here in Wisconsin we usually get upgrades last Also there's no official 4G(Wimax) in the entire state.

3G speed decreasing

Hello, after using Rebel Rom for 2 months, my 3G speed keep decreasing. Compare to my brother stock rom, his 3G speed is faster than me and we used the same phone. Is there any way i can fix this problem without flashed back to stock or any custom rom:?

Do you have the link for download?
FYI my data plan did not reach limit yet. Video streaming in youtube is fast. Just when downloading apps the speed is slower.

Just search 3g/4g in the playstore and you should find it. You need root to use it btw.

Provisioning Tweaks

Does anyone remember which provisioning settings force your phone to hold on to LTE longer before scanning? I did it on my old evo along with 3g proxy fix. Often when I have 4g and go to use data, it will switch to 3g. Almost as if it is set up to throttle. Post your other tweaks too.

Tethering while on phone call

Anyone experience the issue where your on the phone and your tethering and the speed drops damn near to 56k like?? But soon as I hang up it speeds back to mbit speeds... And while on call it's 4g... Off it goes to LTE.. But I used to get very nice speeds while on call..

I have high and stable speed while on call, I haven't experienced it.

This is my speed during a phone call.. Why??
Sent from my SM-G900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
My phone does the same thing even when i'm using the usb to tether and talk.
Sent from my SM-N900T using xda app-developers app
It's because VoiceOverLte doesn't work. When a phone call is made or received it will switch to HSPA+

Thing is it never was like that, I had superior speeds while on call... Now if I receive a mms photo or tether everything is slow..
