Looks like a little touch up with some silver paint from the hobby shop.

Me too. Noticed it right away. That would drive me crazy. I think some silver touch up paint should take care of it.
sent via galaxy s3 in boss mode @2.1ghz

I would tape it off very carefully and just paint it all black. Seems like you would get a better result that way, chrome may be tough to match.. my 2 cents..

How many times did you have to Exchange Your Note 2 with a new one as a result of manufacturing defects?
If you had to exchange (replace), explain.

Twice
First there was an "lcd line" defect.. its as if theres a whole line of dead pixels across the screen
Then the replacement had dead pixels, so i returned it
My third one seems ok. 3 weeks and counting..

5 weeks with no problems, such a great device.

1 so far for issues with Gyroscope going off on its own laying on the desk. Possible 2nd coming up that i can't draw to the bottom of the screen and edges can all but the bottom part (App to test with - SketchBookX).

I think that's a common problem, there is a youtube video on that, don't remember the name now but if you want I'll search it for you.

Hi all I m planning to buy a case for my note 2 which has a flip cover and snaps at the bak of the phone via magnet...curios to know if magnetic cases effect the batterry or the phone in any way...

Don't know about effects on battery, by it sure does effect the s pen. U might not be able to use the s pen properly at the area where the magnet is.

I read somewhere when I was looking for a case that some cases changed that nagnetic with a clip (dt know the name in English) because it damage the screen itself

i think a chemical waste dimmed the outer glass but not the lens
can it be changed separately ?
