Register here and they will send you a installer link

I would definitely recommend getting Swype, it's changed the way I type on touch screens with gesture typing. The biggest draw back for swype is the way it gets distributed and the non-existent advertising.
Swiftkey flow might not be as amazing to everyone if Swype was available on the Play Store since day 1.
Hyped music - like spotify but free and you can make streaming playlists. Also Facebook contact sync - pretty self explanatory but also has high def pictures which is very nice.

yea man, the lockscreen looks very nice and rather useful. Haha. Ive tried cm10 a lot of time, but i miss the stock touchwiz features like wifidirect and a few other things way too much to switch to an AOSP or vanilla android rom. Been trying the new jellybean leaks, but now im on wanamlite and enjoying it very well.

I know within the stock Samsung messaging app you can change the text bubbles and the background. My question today is...it's it possible to use custom message bubbles and background?
If so where's would I have to place those files for them to be usable within the app?
Thanks

Wow do I actually get to contribute something for once?? LoL I'm so used to absorbing all the knowledge here being the noob I am.
Aside from what the others recommended, I haven't seen any easy ways to add custom bubbles but I did recently notice that you can easily change the background to a custom picture.
If you go into your messaging settings and choose to change the background, there's an option to add your own picture whether it be from your gallery or directly from your camera. The one and only downside is that you're limited to one custom background at a time... if you change it, your new choice will overwrite the old. No big, tho.
I remember looking for this option back on ICS but never found it so I'm assuming it was added with the JB update.
(I'm running on rooted stock ROM, btw.)

I like to have the numbers at the top like it had from the factory...the skynote rom also had the same keypad, so maybe i can pull the apk from it and push it to any other rom that i am using? Where would it be located at if so? The system folder is where the apk's are for the apps but i dont see anything for mms or messaging...

This is a handy workaround. Thanks. However, this setting also has punctuation keys on the right, making all the keys smaller. My perference would be for a true Note 2 type keyboard, though as of yet it's not available for 4.2. I'll use this in the meantime, though. The info is appreciated.
I like to arrange my apps by alphabetical order, and it's a real pain in the ass that when I add a new app it doesn't just push all the icons over a space it pushes sone down some sideways.
Any way to tweak it so it reacts like iOS when I'm adding / removing /moving icons?
Thanks.

First off I'm not talking app drawer. I'm talking desktop pages. Second off, when pressing menu button in the app drawer there is no such option as you speak of. Thirdly the app drawer is already in alphabetical order. So no need to even do what you suggest.

I agree with this. The idea behind the home screen is to place widgets and app icons in such a way that is convenient for quick info access and the more commonly used apps and functions on the phone. The app drawer is the all apps view. Seems a waste to do otherwise.

I think the issue is that you see a droid like iOS. Its isn't. IOS is an app drawer and that's its when it comes to how it functions. Apple places every app on the front yet android allows you to make it your own and exercise your creativity...or the lack there of. Its how it works
I suggest maybe miui would be worth a shot to try. They are about 50 different launchers out there to try but none of the popular ones will work like you want.

That is the way the launchers are made to work. There is no changing it unless you build your own launcher and change the way it moves the icons.
What is wrong with the OP? They gave him an answer so why is he being difficult?
They gave me answers? No they shot down my question with bull**** remarks and started acting all android fanboy like because I'd like icons to move around like they do on a iPhone which is in my opinion is a lot easier to deal with then the randomness of the android icon movement.
