This x100.
These "what's the best" threads pop up all the time, in every device forum, and the answers are always the same...
What works well for one person doesn't always work well for another.
The best kernel, and even best ROM all depend on each device and how the owner both uses it and sets it up.
For the example: from my own tests I get the best battery life out of Perseus, but that doesn't mean to say the next person will because they might use a different ROM, different apps, more/less screen time etc... the possibilities are endless.
All the kernels for Note 2 are awesome so the best thing to do is run a back-up, download the latest version of each kernel and then spend a few days testing to find out what works best for you.
There's nothing wrong with discussing which is best for each individual, but don't expect a definitive answer

I understand things dude past from galaxy s1 to note 2 I have used every phone and I too understand each kernel gives different response to different phone. So am making a statistic to see which kernel is giving better service in how many devices . So that I can give a analysis

RedPill had poor battery life for me. I ran it for a few days and the Kernel processes were using far more CPU time than on any other kernel I've used.
I'm running Note2Core at the moment. Very happy with it.

Was curious if anyone wants to port this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2079291? It's
[ROM]Emotion Note II v3 [DLL7] [4.1.2] [Update 08-01-13] Paf & Ivanebdesign
It has everything I could want in a stock ROM including the 23 toggle mod, center clock, 1% battery mod and so on.
Thats an N7100 rom
Could always do research and port it yourself.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2018411
I did research and dont want to do it myself, thats why I posted. Get out. Thanks
O and obviously its an N7100 ROM hence the wording "port". I'm not a moron dude.
No need to be rude. You put 7105 in the thread title that's why I corrected you. I'll be sure to report this thread for disrespecting people who simply reply to your request and provide helpful links.

Just wanted to give everyone notice that there is a new kernel available for our phone even though a thread hasn't been created yet. This is in no way my work just wanted to give everyone the download location of where to get it from till Faux123 decides to create a thread in our forum.
Here's the link:

Figured the mods would let this fly since Faux123 is so well known around here, and everything he does is gpl-compliant.
*Ignore the model number on my phone as it had to be edited for google wallet to work*

Yeah I was just getting off the plane from Disney World when I saw your posts on twitter and was amazed no one else had mentioned the kernel yet, most have grabbed the wrong link originally when I was creating this thread. Battery life depends on a combination like rom kernel radio aka baseband the amount of apps you have and most of all the amount of accounts you have syncing also google now and google latitude is what rapes the battery

Mate, threads about which rom is best are not really acceptable here, they are frowned on.
You have a list so now it's time to read each chosen thread carefully and make a choice. Then try the next one. There is a thread around that maintains user votes of their favourite rom, reference that too.
It's all about having respect for all the devs and not publicly saying a or b is better than another.
Good luck

However if you really need a room I suggest one that have mains electricity. Battery powered rooms are not very convinient.

Its all about trial and error and what you feel is better for your device. Everyone has there own opinions here. Just remember to read the guides and tutorials before doing anything to your device. And 100% dont forget the efs backup and complete a nandroid backup of your current rom before flashing any others..
