Was wondering if it was possible to port the Incredible rom to the HTC evo?
I tried finding an Incredible rom to base it off of but i can not find one. If anyone knows of one i can base it off that would be nice.
*Note I'm not using this rom for sprint, it will be a rom for cricket.
What's the point of doing that? Why would want the Incredible Rom on Evo?
The problem with the Sprint EVO rom is that MMS will not work on cricket. I have been going through all the files, changing APNS, ETC. Something in the sprint rom prevents a successful picture message.
ive been wanting this too if anyone could do it...ive been trying but cant figure it out completely. BUMPERZZZ
My friend got an Evo flashed to metro pcs & have the MOTO Droid X Rom installed .
Everything works & all is good .
If he wants to flash a different Rom instead is there anything special he need to do ? How can I know what Rom to flash for him ?

Recently i bought the evo 4g wibro.
And, i think that sprint evo 4g is different than my evo 4g wibro.
But i want to flash the custom rom like miui, cm7, and added some tweaks.
Is it possible to flash these roms??

The HTC EVO 3D or HTC EVO 4G LTE? If I use MazWoz-EVO ICS ROM BETA 6 as my base?
Delete these folders and replace them with the port
/system/app
/system/framework
/sytem/media
replace the boot.img with one from an HTC EVO 4G sense rom and or from CM9 rom
replace the LMprec_508.emd and LMprec_600.emd files in an ICS rom with one from and HTC EVO 4G sense rom or CM9
And that should do it right?
I'm not sure you're really porting if you're doing it that way.
When I was porting droid incredible roms to the EVO I would start with the dINC rom as my base and then replace the kernel, various drivers, and files needed to make the hw buttons and soft keys work with those from an EVO rom.

its not going to boot unless you slim down the /system partition. It will stick on splash everytime until the system partition is slimed down enough. Gonna have to symlink alot of the stuff. And i believe the OG inc is the easiest to port from

Ah and this for the HTC EVO 4G LTE right or do i have to do the same for HTC EVO 3D/V?

I am new to HTC Evo 4G forums.. i have been at xda for 7 months now.. I have a HTC Evo 4G+ (x515e model). Is there any custom ROMs supported for this model ? i am confused that if some custom ROMs can be flashed in this model ?
And also I dont know how to root to HTC Evo 4G+..

To my knowledge, there are no roms on XDA for your device. You don't want to flash any of these roms.
