RE: Mugen Samsung Galaxy Note Extended Battery & Cover 5400mAh - Black
Ordered this 2 weeks ago and can't comment yet on the quality of the battery as I am still running the battery in. But I am disappointed with the durability of the battery cover. Already 2 tabs have broken off of the back cover even though I have been gentle with it. Can only imagine it will only be a matter of time before more fail. Anyone else had this problem?
Getting the battery cover off is quite easy its just a case of applying very gentle leverage to the indentation on the cover using a flat edge. If its that easy to cause damage why on earth haven't Mugen put a video on youtube showing the correct removal method. I can't be the only person to have had this problem.
I have emailed Mugen, though I bought the battery & cover from Mobilefun.co.uk, about getting spare cover(s) and I will feed back the outcome.
price details and post some pics or link regarding the case
I own the Mugen Power Extended Battery and Cover too and am very happy with it. Within the last 6 weeks at least the cover worked fine and seems very stable.
Não fica muito grande no bolso?
It makes the phone bulky. My friend had this. So i bought a spare oem battery and switch it in case its needed.

Yes it does make the phone very bulky but I don't mind as long as I don't have to worry about battery life. Are you finding that the Mugen battery cover is not as robust as the OEM battery covers. I found mine to be very fragile indeed.
Regarding a replacement cover I have been in contact with Mugen and they won't send me a replacement as I didn't buy the battery from them. But MobileFun from whom I originally bought it said I need to send back the cover and battery for replacement so I guess that's what I am going to do. Its a right old pain as its means having to run in the battery again

English: I dont think so, but its quite annoying to use it with one hand due his thickness...
Spanish: No lo creo, pero es bastante molesto para usarlo con una mano debido a su espesor
Brazilian Portugues: Acho que não, mas é muito chato de usar com uma mão devido a sua espessura
Sorry my bad english!
The battery capacity is what they claimed? How many hours wake up screen?

Lovely.. but Pourquoi?
"Pour quoi ?"
For Xperia X10
And "Pourquoi ?"
Today, this case is the nicest... for me. I hope it will be robust like my N95's 2 years older leather case.
I used a Noreve with my N95. Nice case but found it impeded my use of the camera. So I'll pass with the X10.
I like the quality, though.

S'il vous plaît je veux savoir d'où vous achetez le cas? sur le site de Noreve? parce que Je l'ai acheté il ya 3 jours avant dans site de Noreve, mais le numéro d'envoi ne fonctionne pas avec moi.
merci
I bought a flip case for mine but found it kept turning the screen on, so don't use it.

Having tried to use one I can confirm it is true, and locking the screen doesn't help when the case is able to push the home button in which in turn turns the screen back on.

ops ya i have Noreve leather case and when i lock the screen and close the cove i don't have problem coz the cover in this mark don't touch the home button when it's closed but it is expinsive
may b another mark yes coz it's very slim to the telephone body so in this case u have problem
+1 for getting this case, i have had mine for a while and its great. doesnt press the buttons as far as i can tell, and its really high quality.
I have bought Leather Case Belt Pouch for Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 on ebay from user caseplus (can't put link here, new user limitation). You will have search for it on ebay.
It's ideal for me, because I like to have phone on my belt (you don't need a belt as well). It's leather, is soft inside and looks very nice.
BUT... i don't have x10 yet, but spoke to another buyer, who said it fits perfectly.
I buy one, i mean the Noreve Case for X10, and i love it. God quality, fine leather, and the hard case at the back protects the phone. NICE !!
Does anyone have any recommendations to a good extended life battery? I would prefer one that isn't so bulky but I want really good battery life. Battery Life is more important to me but a balance of bulkyness and battery life would be good.

That one looks nice. Any idea what external charger can we use to charge them separately from the phone if needed?
Careful...
I read on a previous battery thread that this company gets poor reults. The other thread posted a site that had testing results for a bunch of battery manufactures.... I would google it.
On the other side it's only $9 bucks so may be worth it even if it ends up being a 2nd battery.
As for external chargers they are all over Ebay for dirt.

yeah that price is very sketchy. the cheap eBay extended batteries have proven to never be even close to the advertised capacity. sometimes they turned out to be even less than the stock batteries. I'd expect the same out of this one seeing as legitimate extended batteries usually range in the $30-50 dollar range.

I read that thread as well but it was for the hero. For whatever some aftermarket batteries perform differently on different platforms. I just ordered a trexcell and can review it later. I hate that reviews only come out after the break in period. No one else does long standing reviews.
I plan on trying the andida one next round if the price goes back down.

Here you go. I purchased one of these for my 3D and 2 for my ET4G. I'm getting 30+ hrs with moderate to heavy usage. Definitely on par with the Seidio but at half the cost. It does add a bump and some weight to the phone but IMO it actually makes the phone feel more solid. It feels cheap with just the stock battery.

Just got two of these, and after 3 days use I'm convinced they're knock offs. I would say they're 1650mAh at best. Not saying Andida makes junk batteries; I doubt these are legit Andidas sold on this site.

Here is a good battery setup i use!
I have had very good luck with this setup...
http://www.amazon.com/Hyperion-Spri..._1_5?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1333305053&sr=1-5
With it being 20.00 you just cant go wrong... 2 BATTERIES, WALL CHARGER and it performs way better than the stock batteries. I charge them from the wall charger and when i install the battery it actualy stays at100% for over 30 minutes of use before i see 99% and 98% just amazing. this pic i posted is from heavy use with the battery. Im ALWAYS on the phone lol. Also I always have my brightness at max!
I have the traxcell extended battery and its worth it. I love that I can still have a case for it
I have tried the extended batteries and have never been impressed. I just ordered the amazon batteries/charger deal suggested by davidstjohn1.
I seldom get through a day without changing my battery at least once. I figure since I paid a premium price for the Galaxy II I may as well enjoy the beauty of the screen. I got rid of the screen protector too and use rain-x on it which works great.
http://www.amazon.com/Trexcell-Sams..._1_2?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1333320158&sr=1-2
This is cheaper and eliminates the need to switch batteries, and I think it makes the phone a good weight. To each his own tho.
Also whats the point of the rain-x, to reduce finger prints?

There is also a nice TPU cover made to fit the extended profile. I am tempted to get it but then again I have no issues with the stock battery. But I never use 4g.

I also have the tpu cover. The back that comes with it is slippery so the case is a must for me. I had never dropped my phone before I put on the extended battery, then I dropped it twice that week. I ordered the case and have been fine since.
Right now I am at 17% with being on battery for 1d 10h on codename ROM. Sooooo worth it
Now it all comes back to me. I like the Samsung TPU cover and the one I got with my extended battery was a slippery POS. There is also the fatter profile. I like the lighter thinner look (as I wish my meat body was).
Rain-X is THE best solution I have found for fingerprints. Only works on glass though. I tried it on my Gtab first and now use it on my Galaxy S and even my eye glasses. I live in New York City so don't have/need a car but I once treated my windshield before a drive in the rain from LV to LA and didn't have to use the windshield wipers once - the raid just blew off.
only £7.99 so i thought id share

Samsung's original 2000mah battery is the best. It will make the phone about 2mm Thicker. Battery thickness increases with the capacity. If you dont want your phone to be thicker then you cant have an extended battery. And the original battery is available on ebay

I have the genuine Samsung 2000 and find it very very good after a couple of cycles my battery life has easily doubled and I'm a heavy user. 12 hour working day Wifi/ data on all day bluetooth connection to car 2 hours a day many many calls, sms and emails every day. At the end of 'this' 12 hour shift my battery at around 50%.
I used my 'standard' case with the original back cover cut down to just below the camera to accommodate the extra thickness of the battery, so in my normal case the overall thickness is the same as if using standard battery.
Yes Samsungs 2000 battery is the best for me. Only 2mm more and a huge jump on batteryielife.

Genuine 2000mah is the best way to go, got mine for 21€ shiping included on amazon.
Anker brand quite good
Send from xda
Original 2000mah is the best choice. It will give you about 25% plus of what you are getting. The added thickness makes the phone nicer to hold and protects the camera lens.

is it still possible to squeeze a gel case protector over the top, or does that extra 1mm or so prevent it?
The official Samsung 2000mah battery seems a bit pricey where I am. Is the any alternatives that you guys can recommend?
I just received my official one plus case, (black apricot) and was wondering if anyone is experiencing extra heat while using a similar one?
I don't think I am at the moment, but thought I'd ask.
No more extra heat with the official oneplus case. However, a little bit more heat with tpu case from Amazon (maybe help by 35°C outdoor temperature at the moment ?☀ )

I haven't experienced any extra heat with my case either (rosewood) but then again kevlar and wood don't transfer heat very well, so. I haven't done any testing by taking the temperature reading from the phone if that's what you meant.

Thanks guys for your input, the kevlar/wood combo not transferring heat very well is my worry. Core temp I can get, but I dont have the ability to test the external temperature of the device with and without a case.
