Getting rid of default toggles - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

I really don't like the default toggles that come with the phone. Not the toggles themselves, but the fact that you can't turn them off. Ideally someone knows of an app or mod out there that could give me the toggles kind of like MIUI has them (in a separate tab of the status bar), but if not then I would be happy with just getting rid of these ones . I think they take too much valuable real state on the pull down bar. Any ideas?

What if you installed a rom that let's you pick which ones you want and than pick none

I've done that (Installed a ROM that lets me pick and choose) and if I choose none then they go away, but then you end up with a large blank space in the place where the toggles would be.

I saw a rom I thought that let you shut then off. . I think it is macks rom with the morph mod.. Yeah I am almost 100% sure that's what it was

ALL [MOD] threads need to be in themes and apps except...

Please post MODS in themes and apps unless the code is provided to bake into a ROM or modify an app, for example adding 4 in 1 boot menu, modifying mms app to send more than 10 group recipients...real development. Changing bootanis, sounds, colors, etc and any flashable mods belong in themes and apps.

Kenny is crackin' down. At least I know you won't let things out of hand. Now here are some good scripts to add to init.d..

NEXT Launcher Question???

Anyone with the NEXT LAUNCHER know how to stop the wallpaper from moving between screens?? I have a buddy that wants the same wallpaper to stay regardless of what screen he uses.
I was watching his launcher and it looks like an updated version of SPB 3D. His Background picture of his family moves as the screens move so it cuts off one of his kids when it gets to the last screen.
U may want to direct him to the go website probably not a lot of people going to have a 15 dollar launcher when lots are free

I got this launcher free and looked around the settings for that specifically.
Couldn't find anything so may want to email the developer and wait for next update.

I can tell you exactly how to do it!
In apex pro I think it's the same for NEXT as well that you have to unlock the full version to tweak the homescreen like that.
You could try wallpaper wizardrii

Transparent Notification Bar?

Hey I know there are mods for 75% transparent and black, but I cant find a fully transparent one.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance.
Running stock deodexed LJC rom.

Fyi this should be in the Q & A section. But to answer your Queston, in my opinion, a completely transparent "status bar" causes the bar to change color to whatever the last app was that was running behind it. It retains this color until another app is opened that changes the color again. That's probably why people keep at least 25%. As far as the "notification background" (dropdown window), I'm sure there are a few out there. Some roms have the option built in. Id recommend trying an aokp rom or a heavily themable Touchwiz ROM. I'm on tmobile though so i can't help you choose the right ROM. Good luck!

Which LJC rom are u running....I think ur looking for a stand alone mod that'll give you 100% right.......check themes and apps and see if there is something there. Also check with ur rom's dev....he may have something in his mods section or maybe working on something already
Morphology will allow you to set it at 100% transparancy. It's posted in the themes section and allows you to modify alot of different things. A little weird to navigate through since you do it in recovery... I would recommend writing down the options you want from the thread before you actually launch into it. And of course make a back-up first. Have fun!

lockscreen icons

I realize this may be a stupid question to must people......but !!! How does one set the correct "Google" icon (word) instead of the blue square with the G in the lock screen slider?
I know it should be under activity>Google search but anything under those options does not come up with the right icon....
Like I said stupid question .... It just does not look right without the right icon
Thanks in advance....
One does certainly not fix that by posting a question in the general section.

[Q] Touchwiz rom with Tablet menus?

I've been searching and unable to come up with the answer.
I love the AOKP roms but miss my S-Pen functionality. The only thing I think is missing from stock based roms that I would miss is the tablet style menus (like in the screen shot from JellyBAM).
Is there a touchwiz rom/app/mod I can install to achieve the look in the screen shot on a stock/touchwiz based rom?
+1 I love paranoid android ROMs customizations but I need my spen

Yes I can use mine in limited capabilities with certain apps, however one big thing I miss is the S-Planner. I absolutely hate stock Google Calendar and I haven't found another app that matches it on AOKP.
Still doesn't answer my question though of the tablet ui menu's and what mod/app etc is needed to mimic it on a touchwiz.

I've seen this ROM and I'm not interested in my phone being in landscape 100% of the time.
It's not just landscape.

For your setting menu to look like your pic above, then all you need is exposed installer too change the dpi in the setting Ui. That's n how I got the dual panel look..
