alright guys, hope i don't rub anybody the wrong way by making this thread..
but since so many of us have been talking about the new Virtuous Trentacinque sense 3.5 rom that's coming out soon, i thought we should have a thread solely for that topic, and not write about the new sense 3.5 rom in the Virtuous Unity thread.
so, here is the UNOFFICIAL Virtuous Trentacinque thread for everyone to talk about the new rom UNTIL THE ACTUAL ROM GETS RELEASED, AND A NEW THREAD IS MADE FOR THAT
so please, post all of your questions, opinions, thoughts etc. about the new Sense 3.5 rom from the great Virtuous team here.

Virtuous Unity is it's own rom, and i believe that it should have it's own thread, same as the new Sense 3.5 that's coming out soon ^__^

yes it works, but it's a beta, so there are still bugs.
The rom itself is based on the Runnymede RUU 1.02.401.1. After some days with trying to make this build really stable we still need to say this rom is still in a early build state. So be aware that there will be some problems left. Also there aren't any tweaks at the moment in the rom. We first want to make it stable and then begin to add some nice features.

I think the point is that this didn't need to migrate into the development board. Should have stayed in the general section considering this more of a discussion thread and no development going on here...

Here in XDA we do not encourage [BOUNTY] due past horrid experiences many people were victim off.
Thus in most other section of the forum [BOUNTY] are actually illegal to say the least.
However if the [BOUNTY] are for a good cause it'll be allowed under a few conditions.
- The [BOUNTY] is to be donated directly to the DEV
- The [BOUNTY] will only be donated when the DEV work is complete
- You are not allowed to make demands to the DEV
- You can't promote yourself for a [BOUNTY]
- The Dev's work must be creative/original development, not just ported-themes, modified stock ROMs or kanged ROMs
- Must be Recognized Developer or at least have a good well known reputation in XDA

Impossible unless htc wants to give us the source code for htc sense. The open sense sdk. Is for the most making sense more usable for making apps specifically for sense.

I used to be pretty close to you guys when I lived in West Lafayette (Fort Wayne before that). But I moved to NC in December, couldn't take another midwest winter. I thought you had a phone coming to you bubby?

Update: We’ve heard back from Samsung and it looks like the rollout will start later this week: “The ICS update will be available this week and will continue rolling out to devices and carriers throughout the quarter.”
I guess you have to wait, or you might be in luck and get it.

That thread was created for all ICS talk and speculation. And the rogers official isn't even out yet.

Telus is the only Canadian carrier to carry the S2 X.

Nice I wonder if their pics build is better than at&T's I'm guessing it is with less bloat

I've done it for a few years (23 on & off fwiw). It's not a fun task balancing what the users want vs what's actually good for the community vs what generates revenue.
Honestly though, it's mostly busywork taking care of reported threads. j/k

Yet another ics thread, guess some people are better than others and are subject to ignore what's been said a million times.
Anyway ics been running on the T989 via SR leak for a while now... Its not even that serious anymore

Hmmm looks to be in the wrong section for this post for one .. and second in that other thread of yours was already all the information you need about getting CWM on your phone .. there are already BOOST users here using Agats and other kernels available look at the Kernel repository sticky it has links to all available Kernels

Sorry dev forums are not for "development issues". They are for devs and modders and themers to post to their work. If you didn't make some thing then you shouldnt post in dev forums.

Because as has been said already .. it is not a different phone at all it is the EXACT same phone.. you are not required to run a kernel that is only fl22, Sprint Boost Virgin all SPH -D710 run the same kernels , that is what all the folks that replied have been trying to tell you . you can use any of the repacked kernels in the repo http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1662295

I would suggest donating to the devs of this community who have already put out TONS of work for free. might spark more interest in putting things out in general. Just saying, as long as we're saying things in sections where they don't belong

[Q] Sprint Galaxy Note II comprehensive rom wiki ??

Is someone in charge of compiling wiki info??
There is no info on the SPH-L900 in the wiki.
My Epic 4G Touch, had a fairly comprehensive WIKI for current and past roms, as well as modems.
Also why don't we have a stickied thread for Rom comparisons for the Galaxy note II
I don't know what the the differences are between Jelly Bomb, and Venum Ice.
I was a big fan of Blu Khuban for E4GT
I would love to have some of these comparisons available.

Maybe try, I don't know, reading the roms threads to see the differences. would you like someone to flash em all for you too?

Dude some of these rom threads are several hundred pages deep, I would rather know more specific things about the roms.
Also I find several other roms listed that aren't prominent on in the development threads.
I have modded my E4GT several times, so I'm not timid when it comes to testing roms, I just don't like how there is no comprehensive list
like the E4GT, how many months before the Galaxy note gets a nice comprehensive sticky, like the E4GT???
I installed Jelly bomb, there are some things I don't like about it. And some things I'm fine with, and somethings I could care less.
Like woo hoo, the S-Pen makes a light saber noise when I pull it out, and sheath it.
I really could care less about the aesthetic, but I do care about the performance tweaks and customization features.
Personally I would love to try CM10 but I don't like that I can't use the S-Note program, that is a really nice quality smooth app.

That would be great. I don't know why anyone would not want that. It has nothing to do with being too lazy to read or search, it's plain common sense.

Exactly, I'm guessing someone in the development community, was given the responsibility, or took it upon themselves to compile that information.

I think the problem with rom listings and wikis is support for an extended period of time. Even the e4gt wiki you're referring to is sorely outdated.
With that said, there is a newish rom listing thread in the dev section.

Did you give him the authority to sticky a thread? No? Then your clever shot wasn't so clever.
Did he demand someone else do this chore? No he asked if it was being done and probably would have contributed if it existed.
The rest of the argument wasn't even about doing it but countering the *stupid* remark that it wouldn't be useful or worth doing. I don't feel like doing it all myself either but that doesn't mean I don't think it would be real damned handy. And if a nice wiki existed I would at least do my own little part contributing, which is all anyone needs to do.

No one needs permission to sticky a thread a mod needs to do it and it's usually just a regular thread with great info and everyone just says it should be stickied and they do....
The other part of your argument was the fact he the op was being lazy

With the op being from epic touch 4g he should know rule #1 he would have found the thread everyone linked ... and just like everyone said flash the ROMs yourselves and find out what they ate like....
I never once said they wiki's are not useful they are for about 3 weeks and the person makes it looses interest and they become outdated... Have a great day and nice attempt at trolling ...
