Flashing to stock - Problems

After going back to stock via this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1513359
My phone, while operational (Boots) is stuck on the Android setup screen (Touch android to begin)
Every few seconds something comes up as a force close and can not get past this screen. Tried reflashing again via Odin and having the same problem. Also some of my notification icons are still somehow showing (Juice defender etc) which clearly should not be there.
Any thoughts

Did you format the data partition in CWM beforehand ? ODIN does not clear the /data when you flash it.

[Q] Help fixing my note n7100, i dont know what to do..

hi everyone,
i got my note n7100 on meteor in ireland. everything was great so i decided to root it like i did with my previous phone. i rooted and everything was grand. then i decided to install a custom rom (omega rom), installed grand. i used it for a while and then decided id like to go back to stock firmware and maybe root again. so i used triangle away to reset flash counter, done. then i used odin to try flash my stock rom but i got a message saying "incorrect parameters" if i recall correctly. so i thought it was the stock rom and tried another one i thought was correct and it flashed but hasnt seemed to work, i then flashed CWM and then wiped the cache and factory reset and such but it hasnt changed anything. i dont have a restore file unfortunately. so that is why i am trying to flash back to stock. the phone now will boot normal with a few jitters and frame rate. then if i try to use the keyboard to type it come up black and no letters so i am unable to type anything or text. but i can call. then when i leave it down for a while it just turns itself off and i have to turn it on again. im at a loss of what to do next. if i can get it back to normal i would love it and i wont be doin anymore rooting and such again ha. any help would be fantastic. thanks in advance.
very sad person a.t.m. :crying:
try doing stock recovery and clearing cache then reboot. if it still doesn't work, wipe data and do factory reset. should bring your N2 back to stock.
do all of these after backup, of course. good luck!
can you advise me on how to do a stock recovery please cheers.
Try to do a factory reset.

power down NOte 2, then boot up by just holding down power, home and volume up.. android robot should appear.
it should give you options and choose using volume keys and select using power.
try the 2 options mentioned above and it should solve your problem.

What stock rom are you using or where did you get it?
I got it from Sammobile.com it's the proper stock rom and as far as I can tel the phone has returned to stock but my csc is unknown and the overall phone is not working 100% when I try to use Odin wit the correct stock rom from Sammobile Odin says parameters are incorrect so I ended up just wiping the phone and cache and that's as much as in able to do so far. Used Odin v3.04 and v3.07 . In android recovery <3e> I have the android lying down with a red triangle out of his stomach, and #manual mode# applying multiple-csc... Applied the csc code : BTU Successfully applies mutli csc. Has this anything to do with why is not working properly?
Ok I flashed the revolution hd rom and its fixed the phone as far as I can tell. Only one problem persists is that when the screen goes off it takes two taps of the power button to come on, but at least the phone is usable. cheers for help so far and also with this problem.

[Q] No factory reset/recovery???

Hello everyone, so the other day i went out to sell my Xperia S and when i went to seal the deal i literally could not do the factory reset. I went into the menu, started it, it rebooted and it ended up on a black screen after "rebooting" with the blue light on indefinitely. If i hard reseted it, my google account and settings were still in it. Tried to log into recovery, and the effect is the same, blue led on black screen but nothing else, and same effect from the Android device manager.
Since Sony update service is not supported it exits(it always worked with that before) and the PC companion tells me im running custom rom, and exiting instead of flashing the factory image...
I tried to reflash the recovery through adb but no success.
I'm running the unofficial PA 4.6 beta from this forum, and had the TWRP-CWM dual recovery(which looked like has been rewrote to be CWM purely by the PA OTAs)
So any ideas what i can do? In this form, whit all the data on it, I can't even give it away for free, not to mention asking money for it...

Did You try flashing a stock ftf using flashtool?
The problem is that it doesn't even get into recovery, like I said I reboot into recovery and it drops me on a black screen (lit) with the blue led on, but neither cwm not twrp comes in and it just idles there indefinitely.

[Q] Possible Kernel Issue?

Hi guys I have issues with my s4, I had a Nexus 5 but i sold it and I got this S4 from my wife, the first thing what I did was install a rom GPE and worked perfect better batery life little more fast etc but around 2 mounths ago I was using the whatsapp and suddenly the app crashed I restart the phone and the nightmare began, when the phone started worked but after 10 seconds the system crashed again and restart (bootloop) the first thing what I did was a factory reset (I wiped cache, Dalvik, etc) but the issue continued, then I try to install 5.0 rom (I downloaded from this site) and the phone dont start (bootloop) I wipe format all and the installed the original frimware (from sammobile) and was a little more stable but the wifi and bluetooth don't worked the phone get very hot and the battery was drained. I dont know what i can do with this phone do you know if this could be a kernel issue? i don't know much about kernels and if this could be the problem what do you think guys?
Sorry for my english Im learning
This is Cornell Sander's revenge.
You went from bad to worst.
Flash stock firmware again and when Odin shows finish don't let phone reboot, remove battery, insert battery do not reboot yet, go right to download mode and flash again.
This should work.

[Q] I need all the help i can get !! Soft-Bricked Note 2 stuck Bootloop

Ok so i will try and explain step by step what is the matter here.... Since i have been trying to fix my Note 2 since 2 weeks now and i got nowhere.
I was running 4.4.2 and i had TWRP on it but it wasnt Rooted. (Bought it like that) Had some custom Rom on it etc...
Used it for 2 months with no problems whatsoever, decided to root and went on installing AGNI Kernel for better audio (Eargasm ON). Everything worked as a dream for 4-5 days...was enjoying the crazy sound. Till one morning i woke up,received a call and i had to swap my sim cards, after i did this i had Emergency calls only on screen. BAFFLED !! Went on factory restoring the phone, still Emergency calls only on screen. JUST LIKE THAT !! All of a sudden, with no reason at all !! o.0
Anyway, after that i tried again factory restore and wipe cache and something else from TWRP i think it was a FULL DELETE or something like that, including System and all... so i can install a new fresh ROM on it (As i thought it`s the ROM). Well that didnt went well for me,as the phone got stuck into Samsung bootloop. AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN !!!
I gave up on TWRP and connected it to the laptop so i can use ODIN and flash stock ROM. Worked !! It went pass the Samsung boot,i set it up,still had the same `Emergency calls only` error,BUT THEN as soon as i unplugged my usb cable from it,BOOM !! Phone restarts itself, and gets stuck on Samsung boot. I connected the charger, works fine. Stays in menu, apps work, etc. As soon as i unplug the charger or the usb cable,it kept on restarting itself and going into Samsung Bootloop.
Went on different threads, tried a lot of ROMS and Kernels, nothing worked,so i gave up and BOUGHT A NEW BATTERY.
With the new battery, phone worked ok,no more bootloops, but still the same `Emergency calls only` issue.
Tried installing the modem fix with twrp, phone got stuck on samsung boot, tried installing nb4_N7100_Patched Modem_CWM with philz_touch_6.46.3-n7100 phone got stuck on samsung boot.
Then tried installing back the Android that Worked as a dream before (TWRP-Android Revolution HD) but this time i had the philz CWM and guess what, whatever Rom i install with philz, the same Samsung boot comes on.
Right now i tried installing Phoenix ROM,got stuck on bootloop, then cleaned the WHOLE DEVICE by a MEGA WIPE with Zoot's-Wipe-Scripts_SGS_N-II then tried installing again Phoenix Rom with philz, phone still NOPE,stuck on Samsung bootloop.
I am dead !! Please somebody give me some hope here,as i am dying.
I will put back TWRP now,and install again the only ROM that worked for me that is Android Revolution HD and stay with the bloody Emergency Calls Only on screen till somebody will be able to help me out here.... Please guys... i dont know what to do anymore,i am actually loosing my hope,it`s been 2 weeks since i am REALLY REALLY trying to get it back working....i feel i am growing white hair !!
use odin and go back to stock
