I just updated my HOX to Jelly Bean (HTC_304) and noticed that my old clock widget disappeared. I went to add it again and to my surprise it was gone along with most of the default clocks my HOX had but new ones were added. Is there a way to get the old clock widgets back?
What kind of clock were you using?
Try installing this apk.

I was using the one that showed the clocks gears and the other one which had 3 circles , one fore hours, one for minutes and one for seconds (the blue one with the LED , don't know how to explain it better). I tried to install the .apk file you included but it says "App not installed. An existing package by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed"
You apparently aren't rooted. Then there is unfortunately no way to bring back old widgets.

I guess I should have mentioned that. Ill keep your apk for when I'll root. Instead of making another thread and clogging up the forum I'll ask here. How do I unhide pictures in the new gallery application? There's no such option anymore! Another question I have, how do I disable word prediction? The option to do so is disabled (pic included).
UPDATE:
I found how to unhide/hide the albums again but on one of the folders, which I had about 14-15 pictures in, only one is showing.

hi all i installed 3d gallery to my evo but now i have duplicate "Picture Frame" from Android widgets one came preinstalled the other appeared after i installed 3d gallery app
where can i find a way to remove the preinstalled widget to remove it?
I wouldn't exactly say it's a duplicate. One has a black border and one has a white.
Anyway im not sure you can remove it without screwing something up.
yeh ur write thx i just thought they were same exact thing
I found an app called banner that lets me put a banner widget on a page. But the app only lets you make one widget. I was wondering if there is a way to install it multiple times to create multiple widgets. I tried changing ether named of the .apk but obviously that didn't change anything. How can I get this working?
TIA
I'm sure this is pretty easy. Does anyone know what I need to change to be able to install the same .apk multiple times??
Sorry, I realize my first post had some weird typos... I was on my phone and in a hurry.

There is a setting in the manifest that sets the widget to "singleInstance"
Do what you will with that info.
As above, I'm looking for a contacts widget that will work with 2.3.3. Does anyone know of any? I've tried a half dozen or so from the market but they either don't work, or don't work the way I want them to.
I'm just looking for a non-scrolling sense type one. I don't want to install any launchers or anything like that, I'm happy with the phone as it is in that respect, so I would rather have a static one.
The closest one to the mark was Contact Widget, it looked the part but was very buggy. It was meant to show 20 contacts at any one time but after I had selected the 20, it then only displayed 4 and pretty much froze. Not sure if that's a 2.3.3 issue or not.
Any recommendations?
If you want one that's non-scrolling, I would suggest not installing anything. Just add shortcuts to your contacts on the home screen. You can also put them into a folder if you so choose.

Thanks for that, 2 years I've been running android and didn't know that lol.
I eventually found and sorted out elixir which does the job nicely.
I'm currently running the starskyrom with the EI22 modem and have go launcher installed but for some reason it will occasionally overlap widgets like calender and beautiful widgets. Never happened before.. Anybody have an Idea why this is happening?
I tried uninstalling golauncher and re-installing but same thing happens.
Go launcher includes options for tighter grids. Native 4x4 shouldn't allow overlaps.
There is an autofit option under Preferences->Screen Settings-> Auto-fit items.
Between those 2 settings, you should be able to stop the overlap.

I tried that but its weird cause it will merge widget from other pages and duplicate them on another while overlapping at the same time lol
Had something similar where the corner of the weather widget was showing in place of a widget on another page. I'm guessing you did it already, but delete and re add widget to the screen.

yeah tried that already.. Weird cause all the setting were the same coming from MIUI and I never had an issue with it.
Any solution to this? I'm suddenly having this problem. I first noticed it while trying another rom and uninstalled believing the rom to be in error. I went back to my staple rom and I'm having the same problem. I deleted Go Launcher Ex folder from SD, uninstalled and reinstalled..problem persists.
Can't yet post in the dev forums so I'm asking here.
Since flashing Juggernaught 4.1 I've lost my news and weather app. Does anyone know how this might have happened? Or have an apk or zip so I can add it back? Thanks
I still have it on my Juggernaut 4.1 phone, if you're talking about the News and Weather Widget. I just touch the screen, select widgets and it's there.
If you're sure it's not on your phone, then the ROM team include an app called Bloater which allows you to reinstall any of the bloatware apps that have been removed. Run it, select T-Mobile SGS2, then select Samsung Apps, and scroll down to the [Widget]News item. If it shows a button that says Install, then click it and install it. If not, then it's already installed.
Good Luck..
Thanks, but that's not the one that's missing for me.
I'm talking about the one that the icon looks like a newspaper. When you launch it gives you the weather with an hourly slider, and when you scroll to the right you get news. Any thoughts?
both of you are talking about the same App
if you lost it or deleted it by accident, you can always pull it from a stock ROM
just download any of the STOCK rom from Dev section, and copy and paste it from there
They are in fact different. The news widget in bloater is the AP news widget. The app is like I described previously. Using bloater to add back the widget does not reinstall the app. I haven't deleted anything, so I'm not sure why it disappeared when I flashed jugg 4.1, but I will try to add it from stock when I get home later.
