[Q]Overwrite blkmmc0p1 - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

Hey guys
I overwrite my blkmmc0p1 when I update the CWM. I realized my fault with pushing Enter. But to late is to late.
My phone starts normally so it is not bricked but the data is needed for something or? I flashed after this Cm10 without any problems and it run. My question is can I recover the data or is it something specified for only my phone.
Please help me guys.
Sorry for my bad English

Calm down, you can always download a flashable ROM, place it on your sdcard and flash it through CWM. Everything will be normal.
I'm assuming you can boot into CWM.
You can either try restoring all the stuff you deleted with Titanium or wipe the phone and start over.

@Danial723 How do you do that? Sorry im a noob on this stuff. Do you guys think doing a Reboot Recovery will help? Will the phone be still rooted?

[Q] Formatted system in recover, phone won't turn on.

Hello People,
I accidently formatted my system in recovery (phiexz's). Then I pressed on reboot accidently, so phone turned of but never started again. I can't acces download mode or recovery, also, when I plug in my phone, it won't go to chargescreen or something. Does anyone have ideas or solutions?
Thanks you, nathan-96
Well, if you can't access recovery or download mode. I really don't know. Did you format boot too? That might be the reason.
Sent from my.... Actually, who needs to know anyway?
Have you tried pulling battery out for a minute and try again recovery and download mode? :/
You have to be careful when doing such a things.
if only formatted system, kernel and recovery would be intact.
and as you told your gio was bricked, that cant happen by formatting /system as kernel and recovery are stored on different partitions..
you must have done something else..

It may be an SD card issue or a A2SD script. What a2sd configuration are you using?

I'm using cronmod INT2EXT4 script.i tried ad2sdx script,too!
I had the same issue with JB from nikez. I even didn't get into 4EXT-Recovery. Trying changing recovery and even flashing other ROMs, I had to go the way with RUU... => starting from scratch
Now it is working again. Maybe you have to go the same way
the more stranger thing is that it has solved without doing anything!!! i hope that problem never come back again! it's the most terrible thing i ever had, more bad than usb brick!!

My phone acting extremely weird HELP!!!!

So i decided to go from illusion to stockaroma v2 and once i got the phone setup it said i was running low on storage space so later on i rebooted my phone and i got android.phone has crashed blabla
Upon rebooting it kept crashing and crashing so i decided to wipe and reflash stockaroma but funny thing is everytime id wipe and start over I'd get same settings apps and stuff already preloaded as if cwm wasnt even wiping i tried couple times reflashing the rom didnt work..
So i decided to restore my backup now when i went ahead to do that o couldn't because it was saying there is no files ? And i flashed a rom i had on my sdcard but even tho i wiped i got some stuff preloaded which is not normal ? And now i got like 7 times the same directory it looks like this : sdcard/emulated/0/0/0/0 ??
Everything is messed up and down i do not want to go through odin since i have a damn slow computer which shutdowns by its own now imagine me flashing and it crashes...
So my question is how may i restore my backup ? I have like many "0" directory just not sure which one to delete as each contains different file ??
Please help me out im not a noob but this is the first time ive seen this

Sorry but Odin seems to be your best bet or go buy an external sdcard and reader (as I've advertised on all forums before). This is also why we say to update your recovery to the latest one constantly, in many threads and most OP posts of most roms. Good luck. Also always having a backup of all your contemts on memory is recommended before messing with flashing ROMs. Live and learn.

Funny thing is in 4 years never been through anything similar you're telling me live and learn like i probably never read anything before flashing which is not the case i am always careful....
My guess is i ran out of storage space and maybe thats why there was so many /0 folders now that i cleaned some junk im all set up back and running just was wondering what happened and i had the latest cwm touch recovery so i don't know how should i upgrade my recovery if an update isn't out?

Personally I use TWRP. You may try that instead. CWM may or may not be the problem

I say live and learn cause you didn't have thing backed up like you should and you made a mistake. I've yet to see anyone have duplicate /0 for that reason and I'm pretty sure that wasn't the cause. Its cause you weren't on the latest or even up to date to handle 4.2.2. I never said you weren't careful but in lots of the threads including illusion my post and Ramsay's, I think, says make sure you have updated your recovery and backup your sdcard contents. Just saying and its a friendly heads up, also advised you on external sdcard. No need to be defensive, just giving pointers and helping, bud.

I haven't ever ran into the issue so maybe someone else can chime in. I would just format it if you don't care what else you lose.

In TWRP there's an option to only wipe internal sd if you want to try that.
Or maybe if you Odin the stock firmware it'll kill the symlink or whatever is holding it there. Then try to delete.
Or factory reset?

Isn't there a way you can extract specific data from them? Never had to myself but I swear I've seen it mentioned somewhere.

You can use TiBu. But I just open them with WinRAR. Any archiver should work.

Use Odin and switch to the latest twrp, lots of ppl have been having issues with cwm lately as its not updated with the latest flashing scripts and such, most cwm recoveries can't handle preload or wipe everything needed for 4.2 roms, try twrp and u shouldn't have anymore issues...

(In TWRP) Restore>Advanced>Select the partitions you want to restore
There is a similar option in CWM6 (at least there was last time I used it on my old phone) but I don't remember the specifics.

Yeah, that's an option in both, but I was referring to the ability to just pull a certain app and data out of one of those partition backups.

Ah ok. Yeah thats in Titanium. Batch>Restore>Data from Nandroid, then you should be able to select the specific data/apps you want.
