My arc s is displaying a more yellowish tinge to the white that should be displayed. Its not alot but its noticeable and annoying. is this an arc trait or a problem?
I have seen that this was a Gingerbread issue with the Update to 2.3.3 with the nexus S. Google changed the color temp and it had a yellow tone instead of a cool temp
First of all, that phone has just been released so might take time for responses for issues, secondly, don't start a new thread on the exact same issue because no one has responded to the first.

Well do you have an arc? instead of *****ing tell me if your screen displays warmer colours.
Sent from my LT18i using XDA App
Yes. My Arc has such gamut too. I think that all Arcs look the same. Latest Sony tablets have yellowish tint too. I suppose they think that such color temperature produces more natural colors when watching media content. In comparison to X10 they changed not only color temperature but gamma too. Thus midtones look brighter. First week of owning Arc I was feeling some kind of discomfort but now I got used to it.
Thanks for that reply. I too really didn't like it after upgrading from my x10 but now I'm used to it and think it makes colours pop, its brilliant. If it's normal for an arc then all is good and ill stop worrying about it.

Looking at my x10 and ipod touch 4 their screens look too cool, dry almost blue Haze. Extremely happy with arc now

First of all I'm not "*****ing", I'm simply telling ya not to double post to force a response, and if I did have the issue I would have stated.
My original post was worded in a way that made it confusing. I didn't know how to remove a thread. Isn't that up to the moderator? I got an answer from this thread and am more than happy for both threads to be removed. Cheers

Maybe same with my arc, its a little yellowish when brightness is set to 0%... But that not a big problem for me... Arc's LCD are the best for watch movie...

In the top right above the LCD Screen to the right of the Front Facing Camera, there is a small LED that is pretty hard to see if it is not lit.
When you plug in your charger, it will be Red, for me notifications make it blue
Yes, you can customize the LED color. Check the themes and apps section. I posted a thread about it.

Most of the tweaks under one roof and optimized for all ROMS.
It is pretty good.
There is a few tweaks possible moat of witch are posted in themes and apps. These will be the only possible for now untill the devs het started on custom time and kernels.
I have noticed and used system ui tweaks(status bar widgets) , there are some themes and led mods. As well o have posted a few boot animations and more will be comming soon.
My boot animation thread:

Hello everybody i bought this fantastic device 3 days ago and it performs very well...
i've already tried many custom Roms, but the one i like is the stock jelly bean rom, but it has some problems...
the Audio is too low, i tried Volume+ on Market but is not compatible with JB, so do you have any suggestions? any zip file to flash?
the other things i don't like is the auto brightness sensor... it keep the light too low. is there some mod to fix this?
i would like also to Flash franco.kernel with 384oc GPU, do you suggest me? is it possible to fix the other two problems only flashing francokernel?
PS: do you know some trick to manage the status led?
..for the status led, I'm using LightFlow, even bought it for 1.7euro (free version doesn't have FB and some others) ... not like i did much research , Lite version did what i wanted it to do, so i bought full. .. is not that much when you pay ~400 for a phone..
ok for lightflow, is fantastic!
but someone know how can I improve the autoBrightness and the volume?? is very important for me!
are there any roms that is capable of doing these two thins?
For auto brightness try lux auto brightness from play store, the best application to control the brightness in automatic mode.
For sound you need a custom kernel,go to development section.

Hello Cristian, I've got my GNex about 4 days and I found the same flaws you described, so I downloaded the Nexus toolkit to unlock the bootloader, root it, and install recovery, once I did that I installed the franco kernel, the kernel updater gives you the option to modify the colors and the brightness, I hate the yellowish white that the screen has by default so I would strongly recommend you to use the settings recommended by franco to tune up the screen and to use a static brightness, my screen looks amazing now. In regards to the audio, the app has an option to improve it however it only applies for the headphones, not for the speaker (at least I couldn't notice any difference). For the LEDs use lightflow pro. Cheers!

I have the exact same problem as you with the yellow whites. What did you change with the colors?
Did you add more blue and remove more red and green?

I have just flashed CM 10(FXP214)..but i totally disappointing with the camera app. it has a bar which covers the viewfinder. and also pictures are not normal as on stock ics. Are there any way to get the camera app which exist on stock ics?
Then next it is too many brightness even in the lowest level..but very low backlight level on transparent strip at lowest brightness level.
And the CPU shows it is running at 1.5GHz. Xperia SL has 1.7GHz processor.
Except these issues i like CM10 very much than stock ics. are there any way to fix these issues?
Please help me
Stock camera is a no.
For 1.7ghz use nova kernel
As for brightness... I'm not sure. Lol

No. You can install for example LG Camera instead of CM10. There is a lot of camera apps in Google Play.

Its my simple question just to clear a doubt,
Is Acro S's LCD different from that of the new ZL ..???
Because i find the Acro S's more contrast, but my ZL's is some what greyish when max at brightness..
Aren't both using LCD, or otherwise is Acro S using LED backlit ..???
Yes they are different, but they are both using LED backlight,.
They are similar in same ways though

well it could be Kernel settings, Saturtation /warmth/ contrast ETC could be differnt on the ZL then the ACRO, the displays may not even be that different , it could be a range of things, i dont realy know
