Samsung Music Hub not working in Australia!! - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I bought my Note 2 from kogan a month ago.
It had the region in the Build.prop set as GB (Great Brittan)
I changed that to "AU"
But when I start the music hub, it says that its not available in my country.
I know it is available as I have it on my Australian branded Galaxy S2, and it works well on there.
Does anyone know what else I could change on my device so that the music hub knows its in Australia (I think it still thinks its in England or something)
Has anyone found a fix for this? as the isn't currently a Australian firmware for the N7100.
Cheers
Corey

Galaxy Tab P1000

Does anyone know if there are any hardware differences between a standard UK Galaxy tab p1000 and a US version.
I like the idea of buying a Sprint P1000 from US (they seem to be coming in quite a bit cheaper than UK bought model) and installing a UK ROM so that I can use it on UK mobile network, but I don't want to rush in and find out later that there is a major issue that would prevent it working in UK
Has anyone on the site maybe done this.
Any assistance/suggestions/experiences gratefully received
Thanks
Addition:
Can anyone say whether US phones will work on UK GSM networks? I'm sure that they do, so the same will be true for Galaxy Tab...just not sure enough to spend £200 ;-)
P1000
Wow! Hasn't anyone bought even a phone from US. I guess I'll just have to take a gamble.
I'll post if it all works OK .

[Q] International version

Hi,
Can anyone tel-me what are the diferent Versions for the Note 2?
I have friends in the USA and the UK who can buy me one, but need to now if it works in Portugal.
Thanks for your help
Try Google Search
There are 2 versions of the phone
The 4G LTE one which only works and used in the U.S and they are locked aswell , so you cannot use your sim card in Portugal unless you unlock the phone(pain in the ass..)
There is the international one which works every where in the world (Unlocked) They use these in the UK aswell,
So if your going to get the phone get it from your friend from the UK

[Q] i9195 ZKAPHE - What do the letters mean?

I have searched here and on a couple of other Android forums and can't find any reference to this. I am trying to buy a smartphone for my husband. I have narrowed it down to and S4 Mini model # 9195. I found on eBay someone selling this specific model: GT-I9195ZKAPHE. I found on Amazon someone selling this specific model: GT-I9195ZKADBT
What I'm trying to determine is what does ZKAPHE akd ZKADBT mean. Some of the 9195 LTE frequencies may be "region dependent" (?) and I suspect these letters tell us. But darned if I can find anywhere where they are explained.
I found a UK samsung site that says ZKABTU and another Samsung world site that says ZPABG (Greek, maybe?) and ZKADBT seems to be being sold from Germany.
When I google 9195ZKAPHE, I get sites in Spain.
Anyone deciphered any of these letters? Or have a Samsung link that discusses them? Do they have anything to do with frequencies or 4G support? I am trying to get an unlocked phone that will work well in the US on ATT and in SE Asia on various carriers when I travel.
Thanks in advance...
I have a similar question.
Will cyanogenmod run on GT-I9195ZKADBT ?

Galaxy Watch Active 2 44mm SM-R820 - Samsung pay (Aus)

I am purchasing a Galaxy Watch Active 2 44mm SM-R820 from overseas, but I am expecting Samsung pay will not work in Australia.
If I wish to change the country to Australia, what is the process? Do I need to download a new firmware?
Some years ago I successfully changed countries on my Gear 3 from German to Australian, but if I remember correctly, I downloaded Australian firmware..
Any comments would help
cheers

Hi Craig, I did the same thing as you and had no idea about watch regions. I managed to switch to Australia region by configuring the firmware. Check this video guide out

Note NetOdin was not able to detect my device even though I was connected to it hotspot in download mode. I used another laptop and it worked. I had enabled 'public network access' on the firewall for NetOdin on both laptops.
Samsung Pay and offline Spotify playlists now work.
I hope this helps.

Samsung Galaxy Active 2 German to uk

I purchased this watch not knowing it was a German model so no Samsung pay. Everything else works fine.
model is SM-R820X RFAM816XXNA

Updated to this software with no problems. tried to setup Samsung pay and it starts but is for the German market so does not work here in the UK.
any help would be gratefully received. The watch does work fine except the pay function.
