[Sprint][tapatalk] trouble seeing Sprint forum?

If you hit refresh while looking at the main forums (General, Marketplace, Win8, etc) it should find it there too

I think you can also just tap on Samsung Galaxy Nexus > Menu > Refresh and it will check for forum changes.

I tried that earlier and it wouldn't show up
But the method in OP worked fine and it wasn't that inconvenient

[Q] Navagation Voice Stuck in Illinois I am in CA

Hello Folks,
I am experiencing unusual problem with my Navagation Voice on Samsung Galaxy Nexus running Jelly Bean, Rooted and Unlocked.
I was in Chicago about a month back and since been back in my home state of CA. Now when I use my Navagation locally, I get the correct information on my direction list and on the map but for some reason the voice is still telling me to make a Left on State Route 45 in Illinois. I cant seem to resolve this....and its stuck on it

What nav are you using did you clear the cache for it? Maybe uninstall and reinstall if the cache doesn't work.

I am using the the built in Navigation with the Blue Arrowhead icon that came preloaded with Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
So When I go into Settings, for it, it only gives me screen dimming option nothing to clear cache. Where do I go to clear cache?

Uninstall maps and reinstall it, i had the exact same issue and this fixed it.

You may think of moving to Illinois if none work... lol... just for fun

The OP says that he has a problem with his "navagation". He did not say divagation, or even navigation:laugh:

Settings (phone settings, not Nav settings) > apps > navigation (or ? maps, not with my phone atm) > clear data

You checked "Yes this is a question"

Euroskank Jellybro 10.1 ROM

I was trying to figure out why I can't find developer options in my settings on the cm 10.1 skank 12-15 nightly ROM. I ask because when in use titanium backup it says settings may cause problems and to make sure debugging is enabled and I can't find developer options to do so. Any help would be appreciated. I would post this in the ROMs forum but I can't post in there so sorry in advance

Settings > About Phone > tap on build number a bunch of times quickly until it says you are now a developer! Tah dahhh!

thanks man would never have thought to even do that and have been going crazy as to where it was lol

Also I have another question. My voicemail seems to have this weird setup where I get a text message saying weird email addresses have left me a voice message. I am OCD about stuff like that is there anyway yo just get it back to just normal setup still running the same skank nightly

I believe thats a glitch. If I'm not mistaken you'll only see that once or twice after flash then it wont happen anymore. Any time I've ever had that come up there was never actually a vmail either

Well I've gotten a few voice mails and it seems that its no longer sending a text with a weird email but now it sends a text with the phone number and name of the contact saying they have left me a voice SMS. I'm trying to get it back to where it just shows up the lil voicemail symbol in the status bar

OK now how to hide it back

Airview reads out emails

Came across an unusual bug today.
When I airview over emails on the stock app, it starts reading them out. Haven't found any way to disable this other than to mute the phone.
Has anyone else experienced this.

If u dont want the air view feature, just disable it in setting --> S pen..
Its not a bug..its one of S Pen feature. It was one of the reason people buying this phone!!

Spen Airview used to just show a popup bubble of the email which was very useful.
But now it also triggers the email to be read out by text-to-speech engine.
This happens even if you disable airview.

Note taking using kindle app or nook app (multitasking)

Trying to find a way to take notes while reading books.
I tried multi Window while having the kindle app open and it wouldn't work d/t restrictions.
Any ideas?

What do you mean by d/t restrictions? If you mean that the kindle app isnt enabled in multi window there is an app to do it but it requires root

Indeed, just root and flash CleanROM. It has it built it (Multi-Window any app)

Double tap screen with spen button pushed, move to bottom of screen when not using to read. All built in for note taking pleasure.
ALSO!: Questions go in Q&A not General.

Yeah but the Snote doesn't allow for hand-writing to text. My handwriting Sucks and I need to be able to take good notes!
