[Q] Auto scrolling Tabs for Music

Hey, I have not yet been able to unlock my Kyros 7015, but was wondering if there is the possiblity of doing this auto scrolling. The I-PAD has a great App ONSONG, that does this and I would love to be able to have it on my Kyros

[Request][Mod]Allow apps like YouTube and Gallery to bypass disabled auto-rotate

Hey guys,
I'm seeing some people around the General and Android Development sub-forums asking questions about why X ROM or why Y ROM doesn't have YouTube rotating to landscape even when auto-rotate feature is disabled. Same thing for the Gallery app.
Now, I think it would be very handy to have a mod that we can flash which allows those apps (and maybe the video player as well?) to bypass/override the auto-rotate feature even when it's disabled, so we don't have to turn on auto-rotate everytime we want to see/watch something in landscape mode
Hope you guys will find this request reasonable, because I know CM7 on my last phone (HTC Legend) had these features!

Hi, I recently downloaded Google Edition S4 Camera App in my SIII mini and is working like a charm!! (Gallery and Camera)

Installed like a regular app, no root required.

I just installed the Google Camera and Gallery apk that comes in the new S4 Google Edition but I've noticed that the 2nd camera doesn't work in my S4 mini. What can I do? When I try to take pictures with my frontal camara, my phone says that the connection can't be done.

[Q] Alternative IR App

Hello devs. Is anyone aware of any third-party or alternative IR blaster apps for the Xperia ZL? I've been looking for an alternative to the stock remote app, and tested a few third-party solutions like TouchSquid, to no success.
I would like to be able to use the IR blaster with a custom ROM like CyanogenMod, but it's clear that simply installing the stock app won't work because it requires the Sony framework. CyanogenMod is reportedly working on IR blaster support, but I've no idea when that'll be available.
Any ideas?

I've searched as well and haven't had any luck.
My main gripe is being unable to make a shortcut to the macro's in the sony IR app.

Touchsquid home works well..the only drawback is that it although it automatically adds the remotes configured by the user in the stock remote control app,manually adding the remote by searching the device,brand,different remote control types,etc,etc....can be very challenging ......also the UI of the app takes time to get used to and know how to use it.Also sometimes if u face the no response from your device issue while controlling it from touchsquid,I found a workaround for this,
I.e. -->firstly open the stock remote control app & add the remote according to your device,
-->minimize it (don't close)
-->now (most important step) while opening touchsquid app, cover the IR blaster with your hand
-->then switch on your device with any remote of your device(although it can be done with the stock app,but this is if u face the "no response" thingy )
-->now u can operate ur device
I know that the above steps sound very silly,but I could only make it work ,that way
Also if you want other apps,try dijit app from playstore it's quite a good app with a nice,clean UI

Thanks for the response. However, the Touchsquid app cannot work in custom roms because of what you stated -- it requires the stock IR remote app to configure, which does not work in custom roms.
Dijit does not work with the ZL, and requires an external bluetooth IR device, which completely defeats the purpose.

ive seen some ir remote apps in htc one apps section ...give those a try and see .

How to disable default MusicFX

Howdy lads and gals,
I want to use Viper4Android as the default audio processing app across the entire phone and not just with Music app.
Does anyone know what I need to disable/delete in order to do this??
My phone is the ZE551ML 32gb/4gb/1.8Ghz Version and using stock firmware WW.20.40.90 and rooted.
