The question is the same as the title, anyway to change the default application to edit a screen shot done with swapping my hand on the screen, i don't like editing screen shots with paper artist. When i tried to take a screen shot with the pen, it loads a different application to do the editing, that's what I want.

No one can answer? No one bothered by this issue?

I too wanted to know that. .. but then I always use my s pen for screen shots. ..so editing was easy with s pen. .. so stopped bothering. ..but Yes. . If anyone can find the way for finger editing using the same app. . It would be nice

I am probably overlooking this but how do you take a picture and annotate the FRONT of a photo. Same with a screenshot. I think I saw someone did that on a screen shot but not sure if he used another app to do that. The built in draw on image automatically flip the image to allowing drawing on the back of the image.
Nevermind, download photoeditor from Samsung App and then click advance editor when viewing photo in gallery.
This makes zero sense. All drawing happens on the image itself. Nothing gets "flipped".

He's talking about the feature that flips the image and let's you write notes behind it, he doesn't want that (gallery default), he wanted to write on the front of the picture (already solved, he downloaded an image editor).
Alternative method
Alternatively, you can pull out your s-pen, hold the button of the s-pen and press and hold on the screen to take a screenshot of the picture. From there you can crop, write, and basically edit it however you please.
Beauty of this phone that is has so many features, that many third-party apps are rendered obsolete in it. I've discarded several apps I used to use in my Galaxy S 2 when I got this phone.

Yes it is kind of weird. If you take the screenshot with the s pen, you can annotate on the front right away. If you take it by swiping your palm across, it takes a screenshot and to access it, you must use gallery. And the default on the gallery allows you to edit on the back unless you choose advance edit and then you can choose photo editor and draw on the front.
But what I don't like is once you start drawing on an 8 MB photo and sends it, the receiver will only get a 1280 x 720 file. Also once you annotate the back of the picture and send it, it only sends the front or the back, not both. You have to send each one separately.
Is there a way to make the lockscreen wallpaper good quality like the homescreen one? It seems the lockscreen is allways a lower quality, also while im at it is there a status bar transparency mod for jedi x?

Turning off "Ripple Effect" in Lock Screen Option will make lockscreen quality same as home screen. Of course, you won't have anymore ripple effect or ink effect but oh well
That gets rid of those dark blotches on the ls as well.

make sure the wallpaper you're using is the right resolution, if you crop the photo it will stretch to fit and ruin quality
Finally found a thread where I can help out! Okay, so I have this problem ALL the time; not only is it a big deal finding photos with the right resolution for this gigantic phone but it is also a pain setting up the wallpaper because you're only subjected to a certain size by the system. Here is how I found my ways across this problem.
1. Use wallpaper wizardrii here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.twistedapps.wallpaperwizardrii
Use this app to stretch the wallpaper to fit your launcher.
2. If your photo is too small of a resolution to where it'd look like a Super Mario SNES game on your background use this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.niksoftware.snapseed
Snapseed not only has a sexy UI but is very reliable and I use it for low resolution photos. Now what you do for things like this is adjust the sharpness of the photo, not to where it looks like it was drawn by a pencil but to where the blurs disappear. I also adjust the contrast and saturate my photos but only when it's a sexy wallpaper.
Finally, and this is the last of all resorts.. use Photoshop for your computer and literally adjust almost every single pixel to resize your wallpaper to a newer and bigger size. This is my last resort ever, I've done this once, it took 6 hours for that to be fixed and I'll never do that ever again.
If all else fails Google is your bestest friend or you can go here: http://www.wallbase.cc

Hello, I tried S-note on a 10.1 2014 in a store. When I put the S-pen on top of the screen (not touched yet), the left/right edge showed a blueish edge. What is that? I tried it to PRO 12.2 but did not see such edge.
it tries to scroll up, any edge will give that blueish effect and it is plain stupid, i would be really grateful if somebody could turn that and zooming in and out off in S-Note.

I would also like the song pen scrolling disabled in a note. It makes writing by the edges really leggy as its trying to scroll the screen even though I'm not tying to scroll.
I can live with it, but it would be nice to be able to disable this feature.

Why I did not see this when I tried S-Note on Note PRO 12.2?
I just got this phone 2 days ago and I love it! But every once in a while I'll see a screenshot of the sview window in my gallery. How does that even happen? I can't figure out how to take one with the cover closed yet it does by itself? Anyone know what's wrong? Thanks!!
Go to settings, under gestures & motion, disable palm swipe to capture screen shot. Sounds like the phone is taking screen shots from the cover moving on the phone.
When editing a screen shot the image reduces in size , meaning it doesn't remain full screen for the editing . Is there a way to keep the image full framed in the screen and also edit?
The Samsung devices behave in the same way when editing screen shots, however they have an option called smart capture that keeps the screenshot maximized. Cheers
