i had to take my e4gt back to unrooted stock for a battery issue, re-rooted and flashed PA 2.54 (which i was running before) and now for many apps in the play store (notably google maps) it says my device isn't compatible. Solutions i've found haven't worked. So far i've re-flashed gapps, re-downloaded from the dev site and flashed gapps, cleared data+cache for play store and google framework and rootbooted, tried a mod gapps from third party, and played with the playstore dpi but no luck. Any ideas?
Edit: I also realized that if i were to get onto the play store from my computer, sign in to using the same account that i am signed in on my e4gt, the app isn't downloaded onto my phone...

Hey guys I installed Omega rom 7.2 the other day and it was awesome but somehow notifications and web install from play store didn't work anymore probably because I restored a complete backup from stock rom. So I just reinstalled omega rom again this time no restoring and notifications work but play store web install still won't work. Can anyone help?
Thanks
Go into Applications settings and clear cache and data for Play store, then reboot.
Should fix it.
Well, out of curiosity I had a go at some leaked 4.2 gapps. So now I'm headed back to 4.1 after trying to update Gmail and not being allowed to. I was running the 4.2 gapps on CM10... KDH_4.2_GAPPS_V2_DEO.zip, if you happened to have seen or downloaded the file:
Here's what I did:
- booted to TWRP
- wipe cache/dalvik/system
- flashed cm10
- flashed gapps (gapps-jb-20121130-signed.zip)
After booting, the Play Store would not connect (Error retrieving information from server. [RH-01]) and I noticed it wouldn't connect to Google Services (connection icons were grey rather than blue).
Figured I'd clear data, etc, for Play Store and Google Services Framework. Well, Google Services Framework is not listed in Manage Apps (though the apk is in /system/app).
So I went back to the 4.2 gapps:
- booted to TWRP
- wipe cache/dalvik/system
- flashed cm10
- flashed gapps (KDH_4.2_GAPPS_V2_DEO.zip)
...and everything is working as it did before. Blue connection icon, Play Store connects fine, Google Services Framework is once again visible in Manage Apps. But again, cannot update apps that were included in the package, like GMail.
Any ideas what the deal could be?
For what it's worth, whatever the issue was seems to have been alleviated by using an older gapps package.

Really enjoying my (problem free) Nexus 7 2013, but stock Android has some missing features compared to CM10 that is on my phone. So last night I installed CM 10.2 (8/24), and 8/13 gapps for android 4.3. Also put in a custom kernel (bulletproof). Everything set up, and then part way through installing all my apps, google play stopped with a 920 error on all the rest of the apps, and refused to do anything more.
Redownloaded both CM 10 and gapps, erased, reflashed (no custom kernel this time), same error 920 partway through the downloads.
A new CM10.2 build (8/26) was available this morning, so downloaded that, redownloaded the gapps again, and flashed. Almost all of the apps got downloaded this time, although a few had an error 923 (manually downloaded those without additional issue right away). But right at the end of the auto downloads, the play store crashed (application unexpectedly closed), and when I went back to it, error 920s again.
Some research online lead to a few possibilities:

Cleared cache on play store and play services. No help.
Titanium Backup won't find my old backups, despite walking through the instructions at the CM10.2 thread. So I can't restore the Android ID as someone suggested.
At one point I completely removed my google account, the data in the play store app, the download manager, and play services. That worked, sort of - I could download apps without error 920, but it decided that all of my previously installed apps were installed from somewhere other than the play store, so to get them back to normal state required un/reinstalling all of them. I started over instead.

This has a very detailed fix, that involves installing an updated version of the play store and a different play account. But I was already on the latest version of the play store (tried installing the same apk over top, but it didn't make any difference), and the secondary google account worked to download things, but didn't fix the first one.

While writing this post, I saw the suggestion in the s3 thread to wipe cache / dalvik and repair permissions from recovery. Tried it as a last resort, and suddenly I have full functionality again. Not sure why that fixed it, when I had done those steps as part of the install, but there you go.
Thought I would go ahead and post this as fixed in case anyone else had the same issue. All the results I found searching for this problem were for other devices, or other errors for this device. Hopefully my story and link collection will be useful to someone else.
I just got my Nexus 7 (2013), "N7b" for short?, anyway, when I started it and I began downloading all my apps, it shipped about 50 with error 920. Then it started getting them all. After that it seemed episodic. For a while they would update, for a while they would error.
I also updated the apps on some of my other devices and was also getting an occasional error downloading the apps. So, i think this is a problem with google's server, not our apps or ROMs.
Works with GNex as well.

Thanks. This worked for me and my Galaxy Nexus after I clean flashed AOKP MR-1 Milestone 2, and got the errors as my apps were downloading again.
Worked for Galaxy Tab 2!
This also worked for my Galaxy Tab 2 running CM10.2. Thanks for the post.
Hello I am new to this forum, hope this is the right place to post this,
I have a Rooted Galaxy S4 Mini, and I had a custom patch of the Play Store installed, but I just hated the icon and didnt notice any difference between the custom patch and the original version of the Play Store so I decided to go back to the original one and uninstalled the Custom one and installed the regular play store and when I did, I opened it and it started loading and showed me the Terms of Service once more but suddenly the little window with the Terms disappeared and the Play Store froze. Soon after it just crashed and a message saying it had stopped appeared. And this just repeats itself everytime I try to open it, It wont even let me tap accept or decline. I tried installing previous versions of the Play store and the same thing happens, tried clearing cache & data and reboot, didnt work, tried clear cache, data, then force stop and reboot and got nothing. tried doing this to Google Play Services, services framework and play store, nothing. I even tried uninstalling updates of Google Play services and all of this steps again. But nothing. And yes, my download manager is enabled. I was so desperate I decided to back everything up with Titanium backup and then I did a factory reset. When it turned on and I configured it, there was no Play Store in my apps. So I manually installed ES File Explorer and Titanium backup to restore my phone and my backup wasnt there unfortunately so I installed Play Store manually too and I got the same error! And now I got to personalize everything again and download all the stuff I had back in so it would be nice to at least get the Play Store working again, please help me!
Sorry for long post please give me some of your time and help me
Thanks
Are you on stock rom? Are you using the GT-I9195 LTE model?
I am on Stock ROM, and I have a GT-I9195L Model its supposed to be LTE I think.
It seems my problem has been solved! Thank god!
I updated all my apps through Aptoide and the play store too, somehow that fixed my problem even though it was the same version.
Thanks
I am switching from CM12.1 and when I flash as instructed everything seems to work fine except gapps wont work. I have tried everything from cleaning cache and memory in play service and store and it keeps giving an error for play service. Tried uninstalling play service and store and updating but still gives error. Any suggestions. I love this rom. I can install all apps as apk but nothing through google store.
