Stock rom? - Kindle Fire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Where'd the stock rom for the kindle fire go? Was needing to reflash.

Here is the link, Kindle Fire (1st Generation) Software Update Version 6.3.1.
I do think you should have posted this question in the Kindle Fire Q&A.

Where's has my thread gone?

As above I made a thread in thee development section and got 1 response but now can't find it anywhere? It was of asking what the best ROM for of is. If Anyone can help.
Thanks
Best rom for? Try roms out. It is the best way to find a rom that you like since a rom is down to personal preference. If you want to know what I'm running then I've got CM7 RC2 with CM7 hboot

My desire. Have you any idea how my thread has just gone?

Install Google Play Store
Installed GoogleServicesFramework.apk and later on installed PlayStore.apk manually. Worked like a GEM
Device Manager
On this thread: thread: [Q&A] [GUIDE] Amazon Fire Phone ROOTED! 3.5.1 Downgrade, The author refers to connecting the device to the "Device Manager". What is that? And how do I get it?
Hi fire os 3.6.6
Can I downgrade to 3.5.0 or 3.5.1 from UK version 3.6.6 fire os. Will it brick my phone if I downgrade
ill assume o2 3.6.6 should not atempt this ?
confirmed working on fire phone o2 UK i had to redo the update from http://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-phone/general/list-available-downloads-regarding-fire-t2900276 to get back on o2 UK not at&t OS but easy tut to fallow thanks mate
Really wish there was root for the fire phone. I don't even want Google services or play. Just want to remove junk preloaded apps so my phone has a minimum footprint on the processor. Plus I guess I like having a clean phone as well. I hope the devs can work some magic to find a good root method.

3.4 kernel for Kindle Fire 1st gen
This may be old news but I thought I post it anyway. I noticed Amazon has posted the Kindle Fire HD (2013 - Gen 2) source code on their website. The current FireOS version for this device is 4.5.3 which is based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and Kernel 3.4.x. This device also uses the Ti OMAP chipset. Amazon used TI chipsets in the earlier models (KF->4430, KFHD->4460, KFHD2->4470). I was wondering if this source could be used for updating the kernel to 3.4.x for the first gen Kindle Fire and the first gen Kindle Fire HD. Source can be found at:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?tag=androidpolice-20&nodeId=200203720
and
https://kindle-src.s3.amazonaws.com/kindle_fire_7inch_4.5.3.tar.bz2
Look in the file here: kindle_fire_7inch_4.5.3.tar.bz2/platform.tar/kernel/omap/Makefile
Maybe Hashcode or one of our other great developers/hackers can use this source code to get out a new kernel for our aging Kindle Fire devices.
Portions of that source are already integrated.
