Only thing is, it's shown in landscape, not portrait...but....at least PAC users will have one.
easiest way is to put the animation on the phone is load it to your chosen spot on your sd/external_sd
download/use boot animation * root and tap local, find where you stored the bootanimation.zip, tap it, and when it asks on the menu to install or preview and all the other choice, choose preview first, then hit back on your buttons at the bottom and tap install (makes it install faster)
Congratulations PAC users!!! You finally have a boot animation!!
Credit goes to dman for bring us the amazing PACman Rom to the glide!!

Can the file be put somewhere else where we don't have to sign up a 4shared.com account?
Cheers good work!

The first one posted here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1471024 also works with dman's pac rom. you have to goto settings- rom control - UI and select the zip file downloded from the above link. Looks awesome while botting up.

how's that? those are 720p version we have only 480p device.

Most bootanimations work it just cuts off some of the animation on the side that is the improper size. we have an 480p x 800p screen, but anything above that fits just cuts into the display of the animation.

I edited the other PACman Boot animation from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1471024
I edited the Desc.txt file to read
480 800 25
p 0 0 part0
And it made the animation fit our screen but there was some white pixels around the edges. So I resized the files to 450x800 as the program I used changed all the files for me but I guess it wont breat the aspect ratio. It's a large file of 33mb but it's perfect now. No white pixels on the edges and fits the screen. I am gonna change the 25 to like 28 or 30 to see if it runs a little better.
If anyone is going to try this...Make sure when you re-zip the files that you choose 'store' as your compression method or it wont work...I used winrar

no it's not cause it's better to replace it manually and set permission manually
at the moment i have no internet connection for my phone and dont have a root file browser, so a flashable zip would have been easier but yes you are right about installing it that way.
i will just have to do some google-ing to find an apk
really good design though, did you make it yourself or just resize?

If he took it from somewhere else he should have give credits to this person. When he did it hisself he should mention it.
In my case i saw it in the forum somewhere and make it myself, but back then it looks in way ugly on our ace screen , so i started this thread with a reworked one. So it's not taken from him

[Bootanimations] The Bootanimation Repository

Welcome to my collection of bootanimations.
I started this over in the Galaxy Note forums and now that I upgraded to the S3 I am adjusting them all to work on the S3. Big thanks to anbech for the mod that enables custom bootanimations on the S3.
Getting started:
For this to work you need to have custom bootanimations enabled.
Anbech made a CWM flashable zip to enable bootanimations.
Download the CWM_CustomBootanimation_Enable.zip and flash it via CWM.
Check anbechs thread over here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31833122&postcount=4
Installation:
Download the according zip, copy to your SD and flash with CWM.
These are looping animations. As mentioned by Kryten2k35 these will not work on ICS roms!!
As stated in the Galaxy Note forum, I do not take any credit for creating the original animations.
Here we go....

Hi mate!
I was a fan of the Bokeh filter animation but it was never the right size for my screen. How's it looking on the S3? Also, be aware of the ICS/JB problem. ICS ROM's can't have a looping animation (so you must count the times a part is played) but JB has no problem. I also found that the ICS stuff needed to be twice the FPS.
Looks amazing, and I gonna try all of these!

Because I originally made it for the One S (my phone at the time) but I changed the resolution of it to fit this phone, otherwise the animation would be too big for the phone and simply wouldn't fit.
