Hi
I tried to install Leedroide. Everything went fine, until I got stuck on boot. I tried to restart, but nothing.
I tried to Factory reset and restore from a CWM backup. But Im still stuck
As I only get the standard boot logo, Leedroide must be gone..
I have searched on google and here, and the answer seems to be Factory reset, but it doesnt work :/
Thanks!
flash the boot.img from fastboot....
Tried, but nothing, still stuck.
I'v tried Leedroid and CWM backup
Does this require root? As I factory reset my phone, the root would be gone?
eat-in toslog
Fixed!!
Thanks a lot =D
I'll write how later, sooo tired now, after 7 hours trying to fik my phone xD
This guide should fix
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1692681
The problem was that I didn't use the correct boot.img file, as all of them was named the same, I thought it didn't matter wich one I used -_-
Thanks again ^^

Hello, I've recently acquired the htc one x from a friend, i came from the sensation. I was trying to do some rom jumping today and put myself into a bit of a pickle.
what you alls need to know is that i accidently deleted the back ups. and now i have no roms to flash and none installed. I can get to twrp and mount to usb, but on the computer end it says i need to format disk before I can do anything. Since that's not really an option I seem to be stuck with no roms and no way to get a rom on it. I would like to put clean 5.0 back on and stick with that until i can better grasp the adb process on the one x. Any help would be appreciated, thank you -

you won't be stuck by deleting twrp, you can always flash any custom recovery from fastboot
with that i was able to get the rom onto it and install. however now I am in cleanrom 5.0 and I'm recieving .process and .phone failures and re boots. any idea how to proceed?

have you flashed the rom's boot.img?
it claims it does it for you at the end? unfortunately i wanted to avoid that whole thing which is what got me into this mess.

what are you talking about!? if you flash a rom (clean 5.0 in your case) you will also have to flash its boot.img to get it running!
at the end of the rom installation process it says it flashes the boot image for you.

never heard of an automatic flash of boot.img, it couldn't be possible cause you are not S-OFF
o ok. i've managed to flash it via http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1634786
unfortunately it didn't help that i got the phone and it had already been rooted, would have rather done it myself.
thank yo for all of your help!

ok, i'll take it from the top- turn on phone into bootloader. I can no longer get to recovery. I have tried flashing twrp to no avail. when i reset it will go to cleanrom and bootloop. I need to completely reset and re install recovery and rom. just can't get it working for some reason
fastboot erase cache
Go recovery and erase the cache and dalvik cache.
i would but now recovery goes to boot loop, even after i try and flash recovery (twrp and cwm)
fastboot erase cache
i have erased cashe in fastboot through one x tool kit and fastboot flasher. now it goes to the rom and the rom crashes and re boots. :/ how can i wipe and re install rom through fastboot?
also if i click recovery it goes to white htc screen with red dev warning text, then loops
I don't know. I don't know what your tool is doing.
Have you tried reflashing latest recovery? I recommend clockworkmod 5.8.4.0.
is that for gsm ? mine is att version, dk if that matters here
Oh FFS.
You're asking questions about a dual core snapdragon phone in a forum for a quad core Tegra3 based phone and you only wonder out loud now whether that matters?
Yes. Yes it does.
Now go ask questions about your phone in the forum for your phone before you break it.

I am rooted with stock Android 4.0.3. I have ROM Manager and attempted to apply a new font, Chococooky. I was able to download and the installation process began, the phone powered off for 1-2 secs and turned on into an image with a sync sign and a loading bar, it stopped about 80% of the way full and then a new image appeared with a phone and an exclamation point: ! Root Checker was used to ensure proper root. I am properly rooted. Permissions were granted as well.
What's going on here?
Bump. I really need guidance here.

Clockwork is about dead now isn't it? Follow the above advice, and if you can't do commands use the toolkit, just not the latest version I believe it has ADB derp's. Put the TWRP image in the recovery folder of the toolkit, then flash away!:good:

Clockworkmod failure
HTC One V Primo C
Rooted this phone awhile ago, no problems.
Decided I wanted to flash Clockwork Mod to my phone.
I'm running Icecream Sandwhich.
Went through steps.
Got all excited.
Went to Reboot Recovery.
HTC splashscreen stays frozen.
From what i've read this is called a bootloop.
I want to know how to fix this problem.
Do I need to restore to factory settings and start over?
I'm at a loss. I've tried to re-do the steps a gillion times.
Went i'm in bootloader mode, it says .img cannot be read.
I've worked on it most of last night and most of today.
Still cannot obtain problem.
Deeply frustrated. Please help!

try to flash twrp 2.2.2 CWM seems not to work well on these phones
Hello,
I know you're getting tired of this questions, but I searched for hours and still can't find a solution to my problem.
I was trying to root my HTC One X (international) when I did probably something stupid, and now I'm in boot loop (only normal HTC logo appears). My HTC One X however is unlocked and my hboot version is 1.39. Also, I managed to install 'ClockwordkMod Recovery' via a command on my computer.
I just want my old factory settings back please, I don't really need a ROM anymore lol, I just want my HTC One X back too work :crying:
Thankyou in advance:good:

btw, I used this app http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069904 to install the boot.img

yep. full wipe/factory reset, cache wipe, dalvik and battery... and nothing. -.-
It has been about 72 hours of me searching xda and google and nothing seems to be able to fix the issue.
I turned this phone on after a while (a few months) and it goes into a boot loop. So I did a factory reset, it didn't solve the issue, I flashed a ROM nothing seemed to be changed, I decided to flash a different recovery (currently it has TWRP -- I decided to try CWM) but the recovery remains the same (it does say that it was flashed successfully but nothing happens). When I rebooted, it was still running TWRP, and nothing had changed.
And now I realized even a hard reset apparently isn't working.
Does any one know whats up with this? I just completely lost here and blank.
All the flashing never gives any errors in Fastboot. It transfers the file and says that it was flashed.
Please help, what could be the issue?
