Hello all,
Today I decided to go back to stock ROM via Odin.
I was using Milestone 6 based on new cm9. I did a factory reset via settings.
Then turned off my mobile and went to download mode.
Odin recognized my mobile and started the flashing process.
It showed pass message after 5 mins.
Now my mobile is bootloop. Samsung logo just keeps appearing again and again.
I tried to access recovery but I cant access it.
What am I supposed to do.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thank you

'Well it's fine to stick with your 2.3.3 and if you want to go to 2.3.6 you dont have to use odin, just go to samsung's official padge, search for your phone, install samsung kais and brchause you tawe rhe official android rom for Gio you will be soon notified that a higher wersion of android is awailable, so you can update to the latest version with kais :good:

Hi guys, I've been trying for a lot of times to update the firmware of my galaxy w but it fails every time.. It keeps coming out with an error .
I am using CWM recovery and is there a way to revert back to the stock recovery so that I can update using the phone itself??!
Hi, you can flash the stock recovery using odin.
[HowTo] Flash a firmware with ODIN on Samsung Galaxy W(I8150)
In this thread u can find how to do it, and in post #3 there is the file for the stock recovery
The stock recovery is required to update the stock rom. It is also mentioned in the FAQ.
Here is how you flash the stock recovery. Scroll down to others.
EDIT: A bit to slow ;-)

Alright! Thanks guys! Appreciate the help alot!
Hellou guys this is the first time I actually opened a new thread since the day I sign up on this site.
I tried Leaked ROM from Samsung ( 4.1.2 ) and I didnt really like it. So I wanted to flash back to my stock rom which I downloaded from this site.
The problem is that after flashing back to stock rom I got stuck at "SAMSUNG" then I though that i bricked my phone and flashed back to the Leaked 4.1.2 With the Pit file otherwise it stucks at "Samsung" either.
So I still want my Stock Rom back and I think I need PIT file for my Stock Rom which isnt included in my Rar file for rom.
After flashing Leaked 4.1.2 I tried this rom: N7100XXALJ3 N7100MOTALJ2 - Download - Slovenia (Mobitel)
And Got stuck and the Samsung Logo then I tried to flash back the Leaked rom without the PIT file and got stuck at the Samsung Logo again.
Then i flashed Leaked rom again with the pit File and it works just fine But I want to go back to My Stock rom/Firmware or whaeva it is
I flashed these roms with the Odin V3.04
Sorr for my bad English I am Slovenian. (=

Hi,
I just got my Galaxy S III and decided to root it. I had done it before. I made a mistake and it wouldn't reboot, so, I had to put the stock rom on the device again. I found the stock rom, which was a 4.0.4 version and flashed it with no problem. But, then, the automatic update installed the 4.1.1 version. Here is when the problem starts: after installation, when I try to go into the recovery mode to clear the cache, the android is dead with a read triangle above it. I don't know what to do since I want to flash a custom rom.
Oh, a small detail that might be important. The stock rom is flashed using ODIN, but the reboot process is so lengthy, I have to remove the battery and then clear the cache before it fully reboots. At this stage (still 4.0.4) there is no problem with recovery mode and everything is fine. It is only after the update to 4.1.1 that the problem starts.
Your helps are much appreciated.

So you can esily flash 4.0.4 with no hiccup but then you get the update (kies I assume) and it fails ?
Do you want to be rooted ?
if not just flash the stock 4.1.1 from Sammobile in Odin and update that way to avoid that Kies garbage

Find your carrier and flash one of these in Odin as they are pre-rooted.

Thank you so much for the reply. After purchasing my g3 from AT&T, I used the same link you just sent me to flash the device. But it didn't work even though I changed the USB port. It installs SuperSU, but the recovery fails. I will try it one more time before and report back to you.
thanks again.

It failed again (dead android with a red triangle above it). I have checked the ODIN version, whether the md5 file was downloaded correctly. I'm very frustrated.

So you can't flash anything 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 ? That's odd that only 4.0.4 works. Does it fail with Kies too ?
What about just rooting using CF-auto root or casual and then flashing a rom ?

Okay, so, this method didn't work either. I went back to the link you sent me with the pre-rooted version and flashed it. Now, it has the same problem (dead android with red triangle), but RootChecker says that I'm rooted. I don't know what difference that makes.
Any thoughts?

So cf auto root worked but you can't flash ? You need to install a recovery. Can you flash a custom recovery in Odin or mobile Odin ?

So, I finally figured it out. I used the samsung galaxy s3 toolkit to install the stock firmware and then I updated it on the phone. Next, I went back to the toolkit and installed the most recent version of CWM on it and everything just worked beautifully. I have LiquidSmooth installed and it works just great.
thank you for the help hendik.

I am not new to rooting and flashing rom however, I switched from my rooted GS3 running CM11 to the Note 2. I flashed the stock firmware (root66) and made the mistake of running the OTA 4.1.2 update which caused my note to be soft bricked. The phone boots to the samsung logo and freezes there. I flashed several stock firmware using odin that pass but when my phone reboots it freezes at the samsung logo. I can not access recovery mode, only downloading mode. I know its a way to fix this I'm just not sure how. Any suggestions?

Easy peasy, flash philz v5.00.5 (not the latest) through odin then u should be able to access recovery, from recovery flash a custom ROM so u can get unstuck, then when everything is fine, flash a stock rom from sammobile and hopefully it should work.
With Regards,
Overdub
Smack the thanks if I helped.

I THINK YOU MADE A MISTAKE YOU SHOULD BE ON 4.2JB TO FLASH KITKAT CUSTOM ROMS...
go to recovery mode and WIPE DATA AND REBOOT....
IF THIS DOESNOT WORK , FLASH STOCK 4.2.2 THROUGH ODIN AND THEN FLASH CUSTOM ROM..
wiping data is not woking. so finally you mean again i will have to use odin and flash by tar.md5 file and flash 4.2J rom and then again repeat for 4.4.4 rom. i just want to be sure if there is no risk.
And thanks for the rply
