i have an issue that makes my screen is not rotating when i slide down the screen.
It seems that the hardware screen closed detection is not responding.
my problem is that i have totaly disassembly my tp2 in order to change some parts.
After cleening all the electronics part i h'ave re-assembly every things. Now it's working fine exepted this issue.
The screen is keeping the landscape mode without possibility to change it.
Do you have any idea ?
Does any body know how the screen closed sensor works ? An where it is ?

It's a magnetic sensor, but I don't know much more about it.

So I have an S3 with a broken screen (digitizer and display are both out) and I'm trying to control it so I can set it up as a media center. I got a samsung smart dock however it didn't work with CM11 so I flashed back to stock with odin. Now the display shows up but I cant get mouse input through the dock. Any ideas how I could control the phone? Thanks in advance.

I have the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and the official samsung keyboard/case that matches the tablet. I have an issue where every time I close the case/keyboard and close the latch, my tablet s display turns on. I normally leave my display timeout time at 5 minutes due to what i use my tablet for (reading articles), so I dont want to turn that on. Anyone have any ideas on any settings I can change to prevent the screen from turning on when I close the tablet/keyboard case? I bought everything from Samsung to prevent this issue with any third party keyboards, so any help is appreciated.

Mine is not working like this. I enabled the option in the display settings. But I am getting the gray notifications twice or thrice and that's all.
It isn't responding (Showing notifications) when I picked my phone up. Is it require any hardware equipment or something? is it just replica to the Original Feature?

For me it also doesn't work when picking up my phone, but the screen waking when notifications arrive does. I suppose it uses some hardware that our 1S doesn't have.

Hello to everybody. Is possible to do this? I don't use lock settings, but screen goes in off naturally. I need to activate a nfc trigger in my car but if i don't wake screen, the nfc doesn't work. is possible to make it work? thanks
