Is SPC different for each phone of same model number?

I was told on a different forum that if I had an HTC PPC6700 and had the SPC for my unit, that I could use the same SPC for all the PPC6700 PDAs for the SPRINT network. I got a different unit and clearly the SPC did not open it. Is there some program that will tell me from an ESN number what the SPC or MSL number is for a given type of phone? I know the nvm.nvm.security_nvm has the MSL in it, but I need the MSL to use QPST to get to that file. So I am stuck with two extra PPC6700 units that I cannot program. Anyone have a solution? I have brought samsung galaxy SII 4G cdma (bost mobile) from US. But its shows not network tower. could you please help how to find out MSL number and how to set PRL number? please help me..

Where and which carrier are you trying to use it at? If it's not on the Boost network then you may not be able to get it to work without some more changes

Thank for response .. i have MSL number , I want active my CDMA phone to Reliance network and evdo activation.. present no network tower showing.

[Q] Sprint Galaxy S3

Ok, so I have a Sprint Galaxy S3 [SPH-L710] that I want to flash to Page Plus.
I've looked through Google, and have it working CDMA - 1xRTT
For the life of me, I can't find a way to get it working on 3G
Every conversation goes to: PM Me
[but the Convos are about a year old...]
Or use a Donor Phone
[But my MEID won't Stick...]
I have the SPC Code, and the 16 digit passcode for my SGS3
[and for the donor phone, but I hear you can get it working with no donor phone]
PRL: 53269-page-plus-sprint-phones
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Pretty sure you should edit those pictures so they dont show your MDN (phone number), MIN, and MEID.
The few people who know how to get 3g without a donor don't want to share, so you will need a donor to get the keys or find somebody willing to get them for you.

That's what I was afraid of, good ol Capitalism...
I do have a Donor Phone, but the MEID/ESN won't Stick...

Ok, so you have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3, [SPH-L710] and you want to Flash it to Page Plus?
[I'm assuming this will work for ANY carrier, but we all know what assuming does...]
Take it to dealer and have the MEID activated.
Flash the PRL of carrier you want to switch to, restart phone.
You'll also need to change the SPC on the Phone to 000000
Here's the trick, you need another phone with the dial pad open and ready.
hold the other phones speaker to the mic of the S3
Dial *228 on the S3 you want activated.
When it asks you to press 1, press one on the other phone,
The S3 will hear the dial, and proceed to program it for you.
[Back in the day if you recorded the tones that were made from a payphone after paying, you could play it back,, it would hear the dial, and think you paid, when you didn't]
Now Flash a correct PRL [I have provided a copy I used for Page Plus]
No Roaming Signal
CDMA - EvDo Rev.A

I have my msl number whats next or does sprint control this and only they can unlock?

i have a T-Mobile galaxy edge and want to use it on AT&T network and i was just wondering if i change the firmware will i be able to then use it on the AT&T mobile network?? or if anyone knows how i can do this please let me know how, from what i've learned the lock is due to a certain permission needed from the IMEI, i was also wondering if it can work by changing the IMEI??

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
In short, no and no. A SIM lock is due to something different. A firmware change from one carrier to another (in my experience) will not only not affect the SIM lock, but it can be disastrous for the phone. Changing the IMEI also has it's consequences.
