Anyone else notice this? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

IMDB app appears to make better use of the Note 2's resolution it's smaller like what I have seen with the changed resolution people have done to their Notes.

I'm going to have to look at that when I get home. Looks better than it did on my SII

Damn you're right, pressing the menus are really apparent

Yep I noticed it. Wasn't sure if it was from the new update though or is it because of the GN2.

That's what I was wondering if it was the update or phone specific. Maybe more apps will look like this on the GNII with updates in the future.

Hello I have GN2 with 4.2.1
And the camera shows this horrible pinkish spot as in the photo below..
is this a hardware issue or software ? Should I ditch and go back to iphone 5 ?
its' a 600 USD device , i'm really disappointed with Samsung.

Ask Samsung store.
And if you talk about Iphone (that too 5) you are gonna generate some serious insult.

This is a common problem with samsung phones going back to the galaxy s2. Lots of threads about this in other forums

Our Note 2 next to samsung's newest 'phablets' the "mega"

So I saw this article of size comparisons between phones, most notably the new Samsung phones named "mega" 5.8 and 6.3 respectively.
Does this mean that the note 3 is NOT going to be coming in the 6.3 flavor, and all the fuzz about the samsung bluetooth controller supporting "up-to 6.3" devices was just for this new "mega" phablet?
Look at the pics and tell me what you guys think.
IMO 6.3 sounded alright, but after looking at these pics I don't think its practical anymore. I don't see how it could fit comfortably in your pocket. This is now just a small tablet with phone capabilities.

Yep the notes a perfect size, but even i will be going to the S4 and then back to the note 3. those big joints are just tablets and i can only see Chicks using them as they have PURSES to put those massive devices in comfortably.
Way too big my opinion. Note 2 is perfect for me.
But... there is a thread for posting this kind of topic.

The 6.3 looks beautiful, I just wish the specs were there.

I agree 5.8 with same size of note 2 would of been great.

[Q] Screen comparison - can someone do me a favor?

Hello, I'm considering a swap from Note 8.0 to Note 2 as it may be more portable but I'm concerned about what's on the screen. I know that screen is smaller but has higher resolution.
Can someone offer me help? l would like to see how does it look on Note 2: please select a ,,Meeting Agenda" template from S Note like you want to create a note and make a screenshot; open a browser and navigate to XDA /N 7100 main page both in mobile and PC view, that will make 3 screenshots. please post them here or PM me for e-mail or something.
Thanks

so I could only show you the in-device requests and I also attached my battery life in the note 2, I'm running 3G all day and I'm using DittoNote3, hope I helped.

Hi
I don't have screenshots, but I find that setting a DPI of around 220 on Note 2 really makes the screen look massive, and makes browsing, emails much like a tablet in terms of the experience.

Explosion Proof Screen Protector

Got my screen protector today.
I feel much safer having my tablet around IED's now.

You in the right forum bro? That picture looks like an iPhone not a galaxy note tablet.

... 'cause it's necessary to change the artwork to match EVERY device that could be used, right?

I think it is intended to protect your tablet when any nearby iphones explode into flames.
