I downloaded the file, but I get the error 159 Can you help what should I do've added pictures
I would help you if it was in english......
or what you could try:
At that error screen, leave it alone and browse to -> My computer -> C:/ -> Users -> (Your username) -> AppData -> Local -> Temp
So you get to C:\Users\(your name here)\AppData\Local\Temp
Then, search for rom.zip and copy it over to your fastboot folder.
Then flash the rom.zip via the RUU screen by going into fastboot and typing 'fastboot oem rebootRUU' and 'fastboot flash zip rom.zip'
Remember to relock bootloader, and also if you can't find the AppData folder, make sure to view hidden folders.
Sir, I know, but that method or way that is installed on my device does not have any root

When you flash an RUU, you'll lose root, I don't understand what you're trying to say...
I'm just trying to help you flash an RUU.

Note : Sorry if this is unclear i am typing this in a hurry. I will update this post again. Thanks!
Since you obviously don't know much about Android phones, the simplest way for you to fix this is probably via ASUS Flash tool. There are guides on how to do that here on XDA.

i used adb fastboot tool and what other tools i should use? I also downloaded the firmware for Z00ED and stock ROM from asus what else did i missed? Thanks
Update : Here is my device info. Also, i cant access the oem recovery in fastboot
Some bootlogs I made for the Moto G6.
For installation...
Connect the device to the bootloader,
Place the .bin file inside the folder where fastboot is,
Rename the downloaded file to logo.bin ...
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
All files remove the unlocked bootloader screen, including the stock I modified.

Could I ask how you generate these? I'm not running on Windows, and can't find a description of the logo.bin format
Cheers
Hi all many thanks to all especially j4nn to its Temp root now lets be quick:
You should have 20m kdz ( if you are not already on this version) and 20z download from lg-firmwares
1- you have to be in 20m version ( roll back using LGUP)
2- get the temp root ( usining adb CMD) when everything is ok
You should see something like this: root_by_cve-2020-0041:/data/local/tmp
3- Download the attached patched boot_a and boot_b ( these are the V20z version)
4- put them to the location Download of you phone " /storage/emulated/0/Download/ "
5 - go back to adb and input commands in shell to flash it:
adb shell
su
dd if=/storage/emulated/0/Download/boot_a_magisk_patched.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/boot_a
dd if=/storage/emulated/0/Download/boot_b_magisk_patched.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/boot_b
6- Now Use LGUP's PARTITION DL and untick boot_a,boot_b

after reboot connect to internet and Magisk Manager will ask to update
check your root using any root checker app
Thanks
Will this also work for lg v50 LM-V450PM Verizon version?
you should first path your model boot_a/b using magisk
(yes, I'm posting on a dead forum) So I need help with my HTC EVO 4G because when I connect it to fastboot, it won't work, and it says unrecognized device, and I'm trying to find a file like PC36IMG-twrp-supersonic-1.1.1.zip. I don't need the exact version; I need the twrp PC36IMG file, and no, I can't do it with img because fastboot won't work unless someone knows how to fix it.

I don't have that particular file, but I do have a stock ROM from Android 2.something.... Would that help?
Is there like a version of twrp I can install without fastboot? if there was it would help since when my phone is in fastboot it won't connect. And I did try different cables and I have drivers.
Is anyone able to help with this, I’ve got my G7 power unlocked, adb is installed fast boot shows the device I run fast boot devices,
However I cannot flash recovery I just get error cannot Load ‘twrp.img’: No Such File or Directory”

...but you did download the file already?
https://twrp.me/motorola/motorolamotog7.html
...and did point correctly to the image-file's location?
fastboot boot path/to/twrp.img
I changed the file name and now it says it worked okay, however now when I go the refinery mode it just says no command

Do you mean recovery mode? Cannot recall ever having such error (or my frist coffe hasn't kicked in) but seems recovery wasn't installed after all.
Well, if you just want LOS, do you know this guide as well?
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/river/install
Apologies , I mistyped. When I run fastboot boot loader then select recovery mode I can see the android robot and just no command under it. Can’t do anything need to reboot again to be able to select anything.

Then I'd assume recovery wasn't written to the phone: Did you install the zip after pushing it to the phone? Was there any error shown?
