Hey. I currently have a cheap 2$ case from Ebay. The problem with it, that it doesnt have a good feeling, I mean its not comfortable to hold the phone, and I dont like how it feels. I am looking to buy a case from the hiqh quality brands : Otterbox, Cae Mate, Incipio, SGP... I realy cant decide which one of them to buy. As I mentioned before, I want the case to have a good feeling in the hand and it has to be comfortable to hold...
Thanks..
I just ordered a Ringke SLIM Case, after doing a lot of research on cases that pay attention to the "feel". I haven't received it yet, so all I have to go on is the videos on YouTube. Runner up was the Incipio Feather, which was actually a little cheaper. I'm hoping this is a case where you pay a little extra to get a better quality product. We'll see.
It is a hugely subjective feeling. Does the Nexus feel big in your hand? Can you handle a case that will add a bit of thickness to it? If you want protection, then all of the slim cases like the Feather and SLIM won't function in that way. If you want a relative slimness, with good in-hand feel, and protection, I'd recommend the Seidio Surface or the Active (my favorite), with the Kickstand, since the design allows for it to hide while you hold it.
I like the incipio case that verizon sells and it fits with the extended battery too.
^^^ Agreed. The Incipio Silicrylic is an awesome case with great protection. Its a tad loose on the back of my gsm gnex but it fits great none the less. And they have a wide array of colors

i have the Ringke SLIM Case and i think its ok. but the protection sucks. one drop and the phone will probably get messed up pretty bad. i only have it because it came with my phone when i bought it used. but if you like a case that is really slim and doesn't add much bulk and feels nice. i think its a good case. i really miss the cruzerlite cases. they are good protection and they have good grip. i would give up my case for one of those in a heart beat. lol
Edit: here is some pics if it helps.
I've got one of those cheapo s-shape TPU cases and it feels great in the hand.
Thanks for the comments, guys. I think I am gonna get the SGP case. I watched some reviews on Youtube and It looks great..

Good choice. I've got pretty much all the most popular cases from the Ringke slim, to the incipio cases, a bunch of nice Mercury TPU cases. And my favorite for overall fit, feel and protection is probably the SGP Ultra Hybrid...

Guys, has anyone bought this case: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Design-Craf...897&pid=100015&prg=1006&rk=1&sd=261094047096& ? How does it feels in a hand? Please, post some photos...
P.S. Sorry for bad English
Cruzerlite tpu cases from Amazon are good and cheap.... And make you look like an Android nerd. Just got my wife and I a couple a few weeks ago. They had a buy 2 get one free sale at that time.

Any bumper cases out there for this phone? Really looking for a case which doesn't mess up the look of the phone
I have a black cruzerlite case that I got from amazon. It adds almost no bulk to the phone, and looks great! It's grippy, but doesn't stick to your pocket like a silicone case. I paid $13, with shipping.
U can have the diztronic one. It gives the phone a classy look indeed

Try the Amzer Gloss TPU..Really Makes the phone look like a BAAWWSSS...
i've been really happy with the Incipio silicrylic hybrid case.
it's pretty rugged and i've had numerous drops without a scratch or anything. everything's covered and the buttons are easy to push.
i had the casemate hybrid before. that one was pretty good too but i didn't care for how the lip around the screen was grey.

I know you can get them for like 4 bucks on amazon but does anyone have one to put their two cents in? Reliable?

They're great; they're not soft, lint-collectors like rubber ones, but they're not hard and shatter-prone like hard cases. They're somewhere in between. I'd recommend them. Used them on my Evo 3D and GSII. I'd say get them either from Amazon or here (this is the website for real TPU cases): http://tpu-cases.com/ If you order from Amazon, Diztronic is the original seller.
Thanks yeah I got the diztronic matte black one. It's awesome

They're a mix of both worlds. It really depends on your own opinion though.
I have the TPU Matte black case on my Galaxy S2 and I'll have to say it's great for the price. I had the Case-Mate Pop before but it made the phone feel too bulky.
TPU cases are a great value . Even an inexpensive one purchased at fleabay works well .
definitely think a cheap tpu case is the way to go. I bought the s-line tpu case off ebay for 1.90 shipped for my amaze
I've used a couple and think they are solid enough. They're great protection but sometimes don't add much in the wow factor to the look of the phone.
I have 4 cruzerlite TPU cases i purchased from Amazon. Its the only skin/case i have ever used on my razr since December and i dont have a single mark on my phone.

TPU cases are the way to go. Gel and silicon are to flimsy. Hard cases make a drop even worse for a phone. TPU cases are sturdy but soft enough to protect when dropped.

The Rock ones are the best you will get for the price. Screen & lens protection, great quality. There is a thread on here.
mmm for 4 dollars is very difficult to find something good on ebay I saw some leather to 11.99 for various models. regards
TPU cases that i've used are pretty good against shock, i've dropped my phone a few times and its still in one piece
More money, like 16, but I LOVE the SGP Spigen Capsule Series. The white makes it look like a white GSII or white One X or White iPhone
NICE

For heavy protection when in uniform, I use this:
Otterbox Commuter
Medium'ish protection
And for sexy thing when I don't want all the bulk...
Rock Quicksand
Spigen Modello (in chocolate)
SGP Lumi Hybrid
Samsung OEM TPU (covers micro usb and headphone ports)
Samsung Flip Cover
Rock Quicksand
Cruzerlite Androidified
Sorry I cheated and listed more than 3

currently I have the seidio active with kickstand which is ok but I find it slippy in the hand. I also have a cheap tpu case which is pretty good but got the acase super legerra this morning which is superb. good grip, not much bulk, buttons work great and fits perfectly and only £10!
Samsung orginal is the best one
poor build quality but best suitet

Which do you want?
ultra low-profile but barely protects it
low-profile with a bit of protection
larger but good protection
bulky but really good protection
You have to choose from these. All but #4 can look pretty darned nice. Anything in #4 tends to look big but not necessarily ugly.
If you want #1, then go look at the Rock Quicksand case. There are others like this as well.
If you want #2, go to eBay and look up any TPU case or check out CruserLite's cases (the Persona cases are better than their Androidified cases for the Galaxy S3).
If you want #3, there are a number of options such as the Otterbox Commuter, Incipio Silicrylic, and several others.
If you want #4, there's the Otterbox Defender and I think a few more (that I'm not familiar with).
Those would be the cases I'd suggest you start looking at. Then go find alternatives and learn more about what's out there. There is a TON of info in the Accessories forum!
The snap on cases from ebay are stellar
UAG Urban Armor for medium protection. The case looks great & it offers great 4 corner protection with a good enough lip in the front.
I have the real tree camo otterbox defender and love it
Cant find a link, but i use a Belkin Gel skin (tpu) i got at target for about $20 and its DEFINITELY holding up. NUMEROUS drops later

Got the Rock case and I like it cause of the feel and grip it adds to my phone so I might not drop it, but it doesn't do much for protection lol. I just wanted a case to give feeling to my phone instead of plasticy. I've dropped it once with the case about 3 feet onto tile and I didn't get a scratch so it does some good.

+1 on the cruiserlite androidified, bought on amazon and they actually sent me 2. Luckily, the only 2 times I HAVE dropped it, in the same day no less, it worked wonderfully. Pretty light, minimal, and just the right amount of protection. Ever bounce a rollerblade wheel off the ground? Pretty similar.

Hello all,
I've had my S3 for over a month now and have been using it bare since day 1. I just can't find a thin and good looking case anywhere. So I'm here to ask you guys what cases are out there that you might suggest?
I'm looking for something, think/sleek, masculine colours , "lay on the table", under $25. Please no bulky cases like OtterBox or anything in that fashion. Those look nasty. LOL
Also looking for a good screen protector. I don't want to purchase the cheap ones at the mall for $1 a piece.
Thanks!

Get the SGP curved crystal like the above says along with the SGP Modello case in black or gray. You may still be able to find them on ebay. It is a very slim tpu case. Good luck!
Thanks for the replies, guys! Seems like SGP is the way to go for screen protectors.
Anyone know why they like to discontinue their products after a few months on the market? I love the look of the Neo Hybrid, but the only way I can get them now is on Craigslist or eBay.
Take a look at dba cases and their JustLikeGlass screen protector, both are very nice.
best case for s3 = UAG.

The OP said no bulky cases, the UAG isn't exactly slim. The DBA slimgrip is a good, really thin case, and the complete ultra is a really thin full coverage case.
I know you said no otterbox cases but the commuter might be good in your case with a screen protector.. I have the defender series it comes with one and the Grey and white case goes flush with my white s3

I have several cases and just received the Ringke Slim Lite case. It has to be the slimmest case in my collection but also the one offering the least protection. I have a Candy Shell Grip case by Speck I bought from Motorola's website when they had the 30% deal. Dual layer protection. I like it a lot better than the Incipio case I had previously. The Candy Shell case is a little harder to get on and off but overall it just feels better. Only issue is depending on the type of head phones it's a little tricky to plug in.

I bought two of the bumper cases from Amazon and I am very pleased with them. Another user reviewed them here. Moto X Bumper Case Review.
As indicated in the other gentleman's review the case does an adequate job and protecting the corners and does add enough of a bezel to stop the front and back of the phone from touching the surface. If you are a minimalist like me this was the best option.

I think the Candy Shell offers the same protection. It's all one piece. It's also a little tricky to get on and off.
As for the Trident cases, I've never used one so I couldn't comment on them.
I picked up the Otterbox Commuter case in all black and I like it so far. It seems to offer a good amount of protection without TOO much bulk. It is a little large, however.
