Curious of that too, anyone have info?
In the listing there are pictures. It shows it working on the Note 1, so I don't see why it wouldn't work with the Note 2.
Hey fellow Tab 8 owners! I just replaced my Galaxy Note 1 for the Note 8. Before I did, I ordered an Appradio 3 knowing the original note would sync. My question...Only the Note 1 & 2 are listed as compatible with the Pioneer Appradio 3..They both use MHL to connect...Since the Note 8 Tab uses MHL, as well as being so simalar to the Note 2..Does anyone think my Tab will work? I'm so impressed with the many intelligent people on XDA, hopefully somebody has some insight...:good:

How about anyone with the Note 2 using Appradio? Do you believe the OS is pretty much the same so the tab might work?

I have been stuck between the appradio 2 and 3. Two has arl app which allows foul mirroring. Three uses a different protocol and had no app for full mirroring at the moment. Very interested in results though.

What dock would that be (link)?

The white one made by Samsung. It stays that it is for Galaxy Note 10.1. It does not say if it is compatible with the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014.

I don't think it will work. The old galaxy note 10.1 still has the 30-pin charging port (which is where the dock plugs into). The new 2014 model uses a micro-USB port for charging, and there is no 30-pin port on the device.

I was wondering if that was what you're referring to.
No, it's for the older 10.1 tablet and it's about an inch bigger than the 2014.
Does anyone know if Samsung is looking to update the note 8? I know the tab pros just came out but I haven't seen any mention of a note refresh. The tab pro 8.4 looks nice but I just got the note 3 and I love the s-pen so if I was getting a tab, I would want that functionality and the 10.1 is just too big for me.
I don't know.. it seems to me that Samsung has pushed the Tab 8.0 to the point of overshadowing the Note 8.0 in the market. Plus that the Note 8.0 was overly priced over the two.
Because 9.0 is what peeps seem to be happy with for mid sized tablets. Samsung may just drop the Note 8.0 and live with 10.1 design and carry over 8.0 to just Tabs.
Oh well, between the 8 & 10.1/14, the 8 is my most used.
