The link says that it does not work for nexus devices. The why is it on a Nexus thread?
Sent from my GT-I9100
If I helped you, please hit the thanks button!
It says that it doesn't have nexus compatibility for now
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Actually it says devices after the Galaxy Nexus. That will be the nexus 7 and 4. And maybe others.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
You're right. I'm gonna have to give it a try
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Any word on whether this works or not?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium

It says it doesn't work for any nexus devices after and including galaxy nexus.

And further testing it does work for music. Not system sounds (like ringtones).

Works on OFW for music playing on the loudspeaker. That's about it though.

I actually checked this link out, but the site said that it was for a "Samsung Galaxy Nexus 7" @[email protected]
Planned on trying it out but didn't want to put my phone on risk of a brick. Anyone else tried this ROM out?
Hey guys
Is there a way to get multi-window from the Galaxy Note 2 on the Galaxy Nexus?
It would be pretty cool to use it on the Galaxy Nexus!

Thanks, but that is not really what I mean. Take a look at this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6c7XaDWmJg&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Can someone port it somehow?

Get a touchwiz phone
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Haha for the first 30 seconds of the video it kinda looks like how iPhone does it. I was playing with a friends 4s and that bottom bar with the recent apps on it looks pretty much the same.
Now having 2 different apps open & on the screen at the exact same time.....wow. That's awesome and I hope we can get it too!
It is sad that Cornerstone did not take off. I loved it on my HP Touchpad. Being able to run three apps at the same time was just so awesome.

No. Buy a Note II.
Can't be ported. Requires TouchWiz framework and probably better hardware.

Hi I have the youtube2 app from the sprint S3 Jellybomb rom and I was wondering if we could get it to work on the GNex?
What's the difference?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Put the apk in your /system/app directory. Worked just fine for me

Should try TubeMate its just YouTube but with download option built in an it works on all android devices, not available on play store you will have to Google it then you just get updates through the app itself.

Can anybody recommend a HDMI out cord that they know works well with the Nexus 5? Or if anybody has another way to mirror the screen on a TV I am open to other options.

I use that. Works like a charm with both my Nexus 7 and my Nexus 5.
Edit: oh geeze, I just noticed they want 60 bucks for that now. I paid 10. As long as you get a slimport adapter, you should be fine. Doesn't have to be that exact one.

That one should work just as well.
So something like this should be ok?

Shouldn't chromecast work now? Since they implemented the "cast screen" in 4.4.1?
Except that that does not explicitly state if it supports the nexus 5

Well I would think it does since the option is there. Hopefully someone with a chromecast can test this and let us know.
